Great drinks and talented mixologists. Super fun hidden gem of Lockport. Super unique place.

Has the look of a speakeasy but people in here sure aren't speaking easy. It's actually always kind of loud to be honest. 933 Speakeasy is located on the upper floor of Embers in Lockport. A lot of noise is coming from there as well, which kind of affects the atmosphere. That's the only negative about it though as it has terrific retro drinks and the prices aren't crazy bad for these. Came by on a weekend because it's only open at the end of the week of course. It's not that hard to find, because there's signs pointing the way up the stairs. The upper floor looks a lot like a speakeasy as getting in involves taking some twists and turns. Has a menu of classics and house concoctions. It's about $13 for most cocktails, but these are high quality. We got a couple and liked these. I got the Zelda Sayre, which is a Painkiller. This is a classic one with a tropical theme. Strong but easy. This has coconut, dark rum, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Also has a big whiskey list. There's tons to choose from if you're okay shelling out for the best stuff. Even though the music and noise can be too loud, it still resembles a speakeasy in cocktails and looks. It's open Thursdays to Saturdays. There's also small bites but unfortunately nothing good for vegetarians.

Located on the third floor above Embers A smallish but trendy cocktail bar There is the bar area and two side rooms Good service as there were three bartenders working the bar during visit The side rooms can accommodate groups And booked for private events. There is an elevator in the building making easy access There is a public parking lot behind the building just across the rail road tracks

Friendly, cozy, and a fantastic drink menu. Great atmosphere with live entertainment on select days. Nick and Sue always take good care of you.

It's a very intimate place. Drinks and food were delicious. Get there a little earlier in case you have to wait to sit.

There's plenty of booth seating, as well as tall chairs at the bar. Once it was karaoke hour, I put myself on the list and started singing. Everybody is fun about it, whether the performer is conventionally a great singer or not, and I absolutely love it! There was even a group of 4+ girls who sang together on stage, and the energy was so infectious, it got the whole bar yelling the lyrics along with them. Would highly recommend!

What surprised me most was how welcoming the atmosphere felt -- people were cheering each other on during karaoke, and it created this upbeat, easygoing vibe that made the night even better. Drinks were well-made, the music kept the room energized, and there was always something going on that pulled everyone into the moment. Even with the place getting busier later in the night, the staff stayed attentive and kept everything running smoothly without making anyone feel rushed. I also loved how organized the karaoke setup was. Being able to add songs without waiting around made the experience feel seamless, and it helped keep the energy flowing. It's the kind of spot where you can unwind, have a laugh, grab something tasty, and forget about your week for a while. All in all, it turned out to be one of those unexpectedly great nights out. I'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxed place to hang out and enjoy some good music and good company.

I appreciated they allowed a special meal for the MOB who is a vegetarian. The sugar donuts at the end of the meal were a hit! :) Alyssa, the party coordinator for the venue was super accomodating and super easy to work with. It does take a few days for response time - BUT, I always got a response. And she was always willing to give us everything we asked for! The venue even let us in earlier than requested to set up our decor. We would definitely recommend this venue for a bridal/baby shower or birthday party - any special event that is smaller in numbers. The venue has been advertising a new addition to the space next to building but it seems the construction has haulted. It is a shame because it is a bit of an eyesore - BUT, if they complete this addition, it will be beautiful. Hope they are able to complete it. The Gray's Mills has history with it's town so I hope locals will continue to support it. When we come back to visit our son and my new daughter-in-law, we will definitely be back for a visit - especially if the weather is nice!! Our level of anticipation evaporated almost immediately when we were assaulted by the sound. The singer on stage accompanied by a bass so loud that my bones vibrated. Was the singer good? Couldn't tell because his voice was overpowered by the music. And even though the night was advertised as a Sinatra night....Elvis entertained as much as ole blue eyes. Our group of six were jammed into a booth meant for 4 people against a wall directly in line with the speaker. That means the sound hit us, then the wall, hitting us again as sound travels. We asked if it was possible to lower the volume. No one could talk or communicate during the performance. It was temporarily lowered and then the singer signaled the sound man to up the volume again. How was the food you ask? Three of us had the fish and it was excellent. The Chacuterie tray was well appointed but the salads that followed were bland and the seasonal vegetables consisted of mostly bell peppers with a carrot thrown in. Again..perhaps we would have enjoyed our meal more without the vibrations and incredibly loud music. I downloaded a decibel meter. It said that music in a restaurant should range between 50-65 decibels; my meter averaged 90+ during the show. We spoke with a kind and understandable waiter but not the manager. Management should know from us; this was a one and done. I'm still trying to figure out why other patrons were applauding loudly when you really didn't hear the music. I'd like to say you should try it for the experience but DON'T waste your money to be attacked by sound for 2 hours.
