This is my happy place. All my problems go away when I walk in here and see all the delicious carnivore treats that I will put in my belly and get muscles from it. The NY strips are the bomb and the italian stuffed chicken is a party favorite. They have everything here. Sean and associates are very down to earth, country feel kinda folks. Sean and Ami's shop is always clean and well stocked (if you come early!). There is something for everyone. This time we got vacuumed sealed wings, lemon pepper, bayou pachanga and buffalo, 2+lbs each, Chairman's Prime Pork Ribs, 2.85lbs, Wet Aged Ribeye, 1.25lbs, and Brisket tamales, fresh made Tx Torpedo, Tx Belly Roll, Frito Pie sausage, Wagyu Sirloin Flap 1.84lb (best for fajitas if you want to season your own). The vacuumed sealed packs are already seasoned for easy thaw and grill nights. I would recommend calling if you want a special cut/ size. Most everything we've tried has been DELICIOUS! They are consistent in flavor, quality and price. Love their pimento cheese. If your on the way out, and need a something Togo, check out the weekday hot sandwich specials. Finally stopped by recently and grabbed a selection of things for an at-home dinner and a few just-to-try items. Confirmed that Stone Cold is just the local butcher shop one hopes to have available. Great variety of quality meats, organics, game meats, and good quality sides and other prepared foods. Our 44 Farms ribeyes were fantastic, even with me cooking them. Bacon-wrapped asparagus bundles were a nice and decadent side. The biggest hit were the poblano peppers stuffed with brisket and cheese and wrapped in bacon. SO good. It will be hard to pass those up on any visit, regardless of the main mission. Also bought some brisket burgers, but those haven't hit the grill yet. Stone Cold will be a regular meat treat for us. Still need to try the breakfast tacos (and many other things). Great service, patient staff. One quibble. Would be good if the website had at least a list of the typical prepared foods they carry, even without current stock information or online ordering. read more

They have a great selection of high quality meats. There are typical things that you might expect like steaks or ground beef but they also have things that you don't find at a grocery store. In addition to the meats, they also have prepared things like macaroni or potato salad, sauces and seasonings. The staff is helpful if you need something but they aren't pushy and leave you alone if you don't need help. The prices seem high to me but you DO get what you pay for. The quality is so much better than what's available in stores. It's a little uncomfortable for me when places have a tip jar sitting out and this one does but to each their own with that, I guess. We bought, supposedly, a Prime boneless ribeye. It was not good and certainly not Prime. We get better meat from HEB. It had a big line of gristle through it and it was tough. And, yes, my husband has been cooking steak for over 40 years so it was not the chef! We know good meat and that wasn't it. Very disappointed. My family just moved into this neighborhood, so we've been checking out the local spots in the area to help support local places. We finally got a chance to come in and take a look at all that makes this place popular. As soon as we walked in, the smell of smoked meats and it really smelled amazing in there. We ended up getting the brisket queso, chamoy rim sauce (random purchase, but why not it's Sunday funday), and a chicken breast. The employee at the counter was kind and has a great personality. Hidden gem. First walking in I was impressed by the little deli stocked with all the seasonings (boujee jalapeño=AMAZING) then onto the diverse meat counter including some premade meals. The staff are very sweet and patient but the meat was beyond worth it. From the custom house sausage to the chicken wings which we initially stopped for I was pleasantly blown away. We can't wait to go back next weekend and try more! I absolutely love to come here! Some women like to go do hair, nails, this is the hype for me. The quality of meats here is phenomenal. They have the cutest little sandwich and deli area as well and more custom seasonings then you could think. The variety of meat is absolutely amazing whether you're looking for ground venison a good rack of lamb you want it they probably got it! They consistently offer wonderful deals on social media, such as Facebook and have catering packages especially during holidays. They are some of the kindest people that work there Absolutely on it you want it they're ready to get it for you. They go out of their way to continue making new things such as custom sausages, armadillo, eggs stuffed pork chops. The list goes on. As for the ambience, I find this location so organized and open. Absolutely worth the drive from Conroe. We had been wanted to visit Stone Cold Meats, and finally made it a point to this weekend. We were so impressed with the selection! Not only a beautiful butcher for Steaks and the regular cuts, but the ready to grill burgers, wings, stuffed pork chops, and stuffed chicken were all exciting to see. We got a 8oz Fillet, a 12 oz New York, the stone cold burgers, Dome Dogs, and apple stuffed pork chops. The Filet was so tender I could cut it with a fork (reverse sear then big green egg to medium rare), the New York had such amazing flavor, and the burgers and Dome dogs were delicious and easy. 2nd time in a month cashier failed to give me all bagged/purchased steaks. 30 min drive each way called for a refund of steaks I was charged for but did not receive was told only way to get refund was to drive another hour to give my card in person, then the manager said they needed the paper receipt I offered to email the receipt and card number to them but they refused said I must be in person not wasting another hour of drive time and aggravation over $50 I have been a customer at there locations since 2021 today will be last. It's 2025 saying the only way to refund me is if I come back in person is just ridiculous. read more

I highly recommend the brisket burgers, sausages, spinach feta stuffed chicken breast, bone in pork chops, marinated fajita steak, marinated fajita chicken, tenderloin street taco meat, crab cakes, and I could go on and on.... Suffice it to say I have enjoyed everything I've purchased here including the Best Thanksgiving Turkey EVER! PLUS this location offers hot sandwiches Tues-Sat and those are just as tasty. I've spoiled my dogs (and my sister's dog) on the beef trim. All 3 are healthier and happier. I take all my friends and family with me when they visit and all have had the same reaction - Wow! By far the best meat in Cypress, it's obvious that H-E-B can't compete. Steaks are a bit more pricey but the Prime steaks at Stone Cold make the prime steaks at H‑E‑B look like choice grade. I am not sure if ownership has changed recently, but the service sure has. The people who work the registers are nice, as they always have been, but the people behind the meat counters are progressively getting ruder by the day. I used to get the off-cuts for $15 a bag (less than a year ago) to make dog food. Today, went in for a bag of off-cuts and was informed that it was $85! I told the kid who brought the off-cut bag out "I used to get the same bag in here for $15" because I was surprised about the sharp increase in price, to which another guy behind the counter aggressively replied "we don't do that anymore", turned his back and walked off. This is not the first time I have had attitude from behind that meat counter, the last time I came in for this bag of off-cuts, I was treated with the same rude attitude because they apparently use the off cuts to make their own beef tallow and didn't like to sell them. Its almost uncomfortable now to go interact with the people when before, they all seemed friendly. The prices are getting higher, but I don't see the same standard of meat that I had previously seen (in both the steaks and other meats). Now, I will probably just go to the regular grocery store for my meat. Incredibly disappointing considering how I have raved about this place before. read more

We need more places like this in the Cypress area. I've been here a handful of times and have had nothing but great experiences. It really makes it hard to go back to grocery store meats; the quality is just unsurpassed. The wagyu sirloin flap was an amazing alternative to a typical flank steak for fajitas.
