What a delicious experience! We visited for a takeout lunch order, but that wasn't all. I searched the internet with no luck of finding a menu anywhere . Sadly Stone Cold's website is still down. When we arrived we discovered a traditional full service butcher shop and deli with a new age approach offering custom cuts and all natural selections of beef, pork, chicken, and exotics! This shop literally has EVERYTHING! Great selection of quality meats and local products. The Staff is very knowledgeable about cuts. Deli counter menu: Weekly specials are available at the deli counter. Just a heads up, the menu changes every season. For lunch I ordered the Roast "BEAST" sandwich. Let me be clear,I never order roast beef sandwiches, but this one was the BEST. My husband ordered the truffle my feathers sandwich, which I am told was delightful. Service is great!! You actually get a "Hello" or a "How are you doing today" when you walk through the door. They are always running specials and the quality of the meat is superb. Chicken Tenders were $3.55lb today, along with a 5lb bag of Chicken thighs for $17. It will be just the wife and I for dinner tonight, so I grabbed some of the marinated beef fajitas to cook. Whew!!! This meat market is my new favorite. I bought multiple types of sausage like Frito Pie sausage that tastes like a Frito Pie, the Green Onion sausage is very tasty and the Mac and cheese sausage was so unique and it was like a man in itself. The customer service was great because they answered all my questions and know about every sausage they sold. It was very clean and inviting so this is my new meat market. read more

I have bought probably everything from Cold Stone Meat in Cypress and received good meat and great service. I ordered a hickory smoked turkey from Cold Stone for Thanksgiving. I followed the cooking instructions on Cold Sone's website, after cooking, the amount of salt that was on the turkey made it un- edible for our family and guests. Great place to pick up something for the grill. We've liked everything we have had here. The fully prepared sandwiches are a little pricey for a fairly small sandwich, but they are delicious. The place is always spotless and everyone there is super friendly. Yesterday I arrived before the sandwiches were being served and they had breakfast tacos. The brisket, egg, and cheese tacos were the best I've ever had. We will be back for sure. read more

Wow this place is awesome. I was looking for a great deli to which Yelp recommend Stone Cold Meats and boy they weren't wrong. The sandwiches were out of this world and very well stuffed for the price. The tomato's were very ripe and cut perfectly to not over power the sandwich. We looked around while they made out lunch and ended up buying a stuffed chicken breast and pork chop that I can't wait to try. I will be back very soon. read more

This is our go to for meat. The briskets burgers are the best, we don't even use buns cause that would take away from the flavor to us. Their sausages are wonderful that they make and very unique mixing. The steaks have never let us down either. Give them a try, you won't be sorry. read more

Called about 15 minutes before closing to put in a big order to pick up for Saturday. A young lady answered and I proceeded to tell her I'd like to put in an order to pick up Saturday. She said "ok let me put you on hold". And she did exactly that. After about 13 minutes of waiting, i hung up and called back and received their answering machine. Happy to take my business elsewhere, although a longer drive, but at least they took my order and provided good customer service. I understand i called close to closing, but she could have just said, "i'm sorry but you will have to call in the morning" or something to that effect. This company is close to me, and i've been in the store and have generally had a decent experience when I go there. Over the past holiday season, I ordered a cap of rib eye, and they said to give them a few days to be able to do that and we agreed for me to call first thing that Saturday morning to confirm they had enough roast to make that cut. I called Saturday and they said they don't have a record of it nor do they do that cut of meat. Not sure where or how the wires get crossed or why I experienced what I did, but hope it helps others, and suggest going into the store to make any orders. read more

Have been twice in one week! Yesterday, in addition to getting boudin and brisket burgers for a cookout, I ordered their special sandwich of the day, a Reuben. Let me tell you, that sandwich felt like it weighed two pounds and it was beyond amazing!!!! Their meat selections are unbelievable, grab and go section has charcuterie boards ready made, delicious potato salad, macaroni salad (made with havarti, salami and white wine...outstanding!) It took me long enough, but hubby and I FINALLY made it to Stone Cold Meats in Cypress. The staff is all very helpful and eager to answer all questions about any of their products. Billy at the meat counter was very helpful. The young man who made a Spicy Italian sub sandwich for us was equally helpful and everyone working there seemed enthusiastic about what they have to offer. That sandwich was DELICIOUS! We will be coming back regularly now that we made our maiden visit. From the fresh meats, the wild game offerings, the refrigerated section of pre-marinated meats, the deli counter and large selection of seasonings......:this is a great shop for Cypress and surrounding area. Several months ago, we picked up 2 steaks; to our shock, the meat was gray. When we called to ask about it we were told that was normal oxidation. We have never gotten gray meat from any butcher - not ever. So months later, we tried them again. This time, the attendant ignored us for about a minute while we were the only customers standing in front of him at the meat case. When he did acknowledge us, he was unfriendly, impatient, and acted as if he didn't want to show us the cut of meat we asked to see before he quickly wrapped it up. The meat was certainly not worth the spend; we've had better from our local supermarkets. They now also include a note with your purchase that explains why meat may appear gray (ridiculous!). This place is not a real butcher shop. A real butcher does not provide a gray meat disclaimer; a real butcher simply presents and sells the best meats. And, treating customers nicely should go without saying. Skip this place and save yourself the disappointment from poor quality product and poor customer service. We will never return and certainly do not recommend! read more

The plethora of meats is unrivaled but this Sunday morning we got the Roast Beef sandwich from the deli. I'm a bit of a bread snob (from Europe) yet this baguette took me back to France. I don't know if it was, but it tasted like it was baked fresh in the early hours of this morning - just like they do in France. The slab of beef reminded me that I was in America though and combined, it's the best sandwich i've ever had. It's a little pricey - until you taste its value. I have been to this butcher shop a couple of times since they opened and have enjoyed the variety meats, both regular cuts, premium dry aged, wagu, etc and the variety of pre-marinated or stuffed meat selections. Good stuff. My wife and I went in for lunch today and tried their deli counter for the 1st time. We really should have tried this much earlier.. Really-Great-Sandwich's! I enjoyed the Southern Comfort Sandwich and my wife went in for the Reuben. Just let me say now that my wife is picky about her Rueben's with a common complaint that they either load up on the Thousand Island dressing or use too tart a sauerkraut and wash out the taste of the corned beef. Not the case here. My wife is a happy lady now that she now has a go-to place for a the perfect Reuben. The only thing that would have made the sandwiches better is if they had a table to sit at and eat it at the store. Again, awesome sandwiches! read more
