Visited last night with a friend and our server was Gaby, who was also the bartender. We ordered the spinach dip, truffle fries and the boiling pot. The spinach dip was amazing and so were the truffle fries; the truffle aioli was so freaking good! The boiling pot was also good. For every pound of crawfish, you get one small corn and potato -- I wish the corns and potatoes were a bit bigger. But the seasoning on everything was GREAT -- we got mild, and it was a little spicier than I would imagine mild to be, but it was still delicious. The crawfish were HUGE, I was able to eat some claw meat out of a good majority of them which is my favorite part. The restaurant also had music bingo, which was a ton of fun too. read more

Probably my top spot in the area for anything burger and beer related. Can't beat the offerings on tap and the menu has some of the best variations you won't find at any fast food joint, plus the quality is unmatched by leaps and bounds. Staff are super nice and genuinely will engage in convo, share their favs good people. Great for local comminity. Inside has a giant tree you may miss if you don't gander above. read more

we ordered the loaded baked potato with extra sour cream. upon arrival to our table, we couldn't see the "extra" sour cream so we asked where it was and the waitress responded, "oh at the bottom". so we started digging for the sour cream and still couldn't find it within the sour cream. so we requested more. then we got fries and asked for "seasoned fries" and there was no season on them. so we got the season brought to us. now, what really killed it for us and lead us to write this review, is the flies. the flies are all over the place. great waitress though. but definitely won't be coming back. read more

First off we loved this place but recently and especially today that changed. My order took over an hour to reach my house and I wasn't even notified when the food arrived they just left it at the door with no knock or call (they didn't use DoorDash from my knowledge) and if they did I received no link to track my order. When we finally opened our $60+ worth of steak it was like warm and chewy after sitting for so long. It also appears they cannot read instructions as I requested no sour cream as well. read more

Sunday the weather was amazing and it was heavenly to sit on their covered patio listening to great music enjoying spicy garlic crawfish with an ice cold beer. My server last night was Alice and she was absolutely the sweetest. We had a big banquet and she was still able to help everyone so well!

I had chicken fried chicken with really good crispy french fries and gravy, very, very good. The chicken was thin, but it still tasted very good. I got the large order and was able to eat it all! My sister had a small order of beef fajita nachos. She said it tasted good. It just didn't have the Mexican seasoning taste to the meat, it was a very large serving. Prices are reasonable and good service. My birthday meal was free on my app. I would return. I would recommend it as well. It's a family restaurant, but also has a bar. read more

So. The waitstaff was top notch. Really, all the girls were very friendly and kind. Excellent service. No issues or complaints there at all. The food was decent as well. Not the best, but not the worst. We showed up after church to eat on the patio so our three boys could play in the sand and it was such a nice day. Right away, the manager (an older man) was so inappropriate and rude to the waitstaff in front of customers. Staring that "There's a wait for the deck and outside, people don't like hearing that, but they can get over it". And then talking about how some "idiot people" broke a door. "I'm going to shut up now before I say something I really regret". When we first approached the hostess stand, he told us "Are yall dining in or what"??? Today I had champagne tempura fish tacos with pickled onions, cabbage and cilantro on flour tortillas. Excellent!! They come with a jalapeño aoli, but that's too spicy for me. Tempura was light and didn't overpower the fish. Also, they added a special dessert for the month: funnel cake. OMG, light, fluffy with HOMEMADE raspberry sauce on top. Delicious. So glad that our bartender, Savannah, told us about it. She's the best. Even when she's super busy, she takes care of her regulars and always with a smile. read more

Their menu is extensive (from salads to steaks, with everything in between), they have specials during the week (like taco Tuesdays) and the staff is amazing (great, friendly service!). We had a lovely experience at this place. It was our first time visiting the place and we were welcomed by the manager with their complimentary chips and home-made salsa. Honestly it was good, the spiciness is very mild and not over powering. He also shared with us the history of the restaurant and the story behind the tree inside their establishment. What a great story The food was delicious. I had the skippers seafood platter while hubby and son chose chicken fried steak and my daughter picked the blackened catfish. Me and my family have been coming here since I was about 7 or so , I am now 26. This place has went down the drain. Deathly quiet. No service at all. Idk how they're still open. Food is straight trash. Me and my family watched this place go from the place to be Thursday-Sunday with barely any room to walk in. To now a ghost town, terrible food and servers standing around not knowing what to do cause there is no business. I don't understand how the servers are making a living here. My dad got the gobblers delight and we turned one of the pieces of bacon over , it was completely GREY. My salad was dry asf. Daughters little league burger was trash , diabolical to pay all this money for food we know is not being authentically cooked. This was the first time my family and I had eaten here. Everything was really really good. Chicken mushroom with green beans and broccoli was excellent. It was fresh chicken, not the rubbery frozen kind, and the vegetables were fresh and cooked well. The chicken fried chicken with sweet potato fries was sooo good! We came back here with only four of us this time and I tried a new dish - the chicken fried steak. I *love* that you can order a small or a large because sometime you don't want one that covers half of your giant plate you know? I got a small which for the price (10.25!) I can understand why you get one side and some toast. It is a smaller plate. But I wanted those green beans again (omg ya'll I remembered them). They were good but not prepared like last time which made me a little sad. Less butter and less time in the pan this time - so the slivered almonds were not toasted much but still a nice side. The rustic mashed potatoes were also good but i did not care for the brown gravy I asked for and would likely not order that again for 2 reasons - it was sort of congealed and didn't have that nice beefy broth depth of flavor that gives that hard savory layer to mashed potatoes that I love. Now to the star of the dish - the chicken fried steak. PERFECT portion size, good tender cut of beef, excellent flavorful and crispy breading on it and that cream gravy? OMG ya'll I almost asked for more on the side to dip the toast in. I will do that next time. Our server I wish I remembered his name, was very good. Attentive without being annoying and after we paid our check we stayed a good 30 minutes longer and he let us be. I always appreciate that and we tip appropriately when we camp at a table if its not that busy. I wish I lived closer to here so we could come more often. read more

I usually leave very positive reviews. We eat out most meals and are accustomed to good service and we tip well. Today was an exception. The wait staff was rushing us to make a menu decision. I ordered beef fajitas for one and they brought me combo fajitas that were not even sizzling. I also asked for no rice and no beans but to give me an extra sour cream scoop and a guac scoop. The wait staff did not apologize for the wrong meat sent out and then charged me 3.00 extra for the sour cream and guac. It literally was a small spoonful. When we asked about the difference i price she displayed an attitude, which in turn caused me to ask to speak with her leader. She walked away and despite our waiting no one ever came to our table. This is only one of two times in the last 8 years or more that we left without tipping. She had a 25% until the attitude. The food was marginal and not worth the hassel of dealing with an attitude, when all i did was ask a question. That was the last 60.00 they will see from our household. Sadly as i said we eat out most meals and this could have been a great new place to add to our rotation or for our 3rd friday supper group. Very sad at how customers are treated.
