However the installation was completely off on the veining of the quartz behind my sink and did not match what they showed in the template for approval. I have called 10+ times to have them fix this as my kitchen is small and it does not look right. I have only been able to talk to the business owner Paul once and he has constantly ignored me. Beware - they require a check up front and if you have any issues they will ignore you and happily keep your money. I only begrudgingly agreed to a seam because they promised it would be executed perfectly. My original fears were justified: it was a disaster. The issues: * Poor Craftsmanship: The seam is recessed and uneven. It is a functional defect that collects debris and requires constant scrubbing. * Lack of Effort: While I understand vein matching is difficult, there was clearly no attempt at a professional transition here. IYKYK but I was in full stress mode after falling in love with a quartz counter I saw on line…read more Only one place said they had it in stock and I was very concerned about keeping the full kitchen reno moving along. Spoke to Irene Lopez and went down the next day. She showed me my "chosen" Terrazura and also had another slab she thought would work. Both slabs looked great with my flooring, cabinet and paint colors. I went with the Terrazura and everything continued to go smoothly through installation. I'm beyond thrilled with my new kitchen and love my quartz. Highly recommend Factory Plaza! And big thanks to Irene for seeing my vision and Alex for a flawless installation. Some helpful hints based on our experience: 1. A big countertop dealer like MSI, located in Elk Grove Village, has a very large showroom where you can see the full countertop slabs. We had some preferences based on the web site pictures and the little quartz samples, but ended up selecting a different slab once we were in the showroom. You really want to see the full countertop slabs before your decision is finalized. 2. We were really disappointed with the Home Depot service, which is The Countertop Factory - Midwest. There was an extremely hard sell visit to our house and a take-it-or-leave it price. 3. Many quartz countertop installation services want you to select quartz they already have in stock. Davan let us shop around and we selected an MSI countetop, which MSI already had in stock. Our job therefore proceeded quickly from final slab selection to installation (less than two weeks). 4. I was unnecessarily nervous about our kitchen tile backsplash when our old formica countertops were replaced with new quartz countertops. We wanted to retain the old kitchen backsplash. That was not a problem and the installation occurred smoothly.

Well we needed their help with a new dishwasher that needed to be screwed into the quartz rather than the sides of the cabinet. Abt installed the dishwasher and due to a vent under the peninsula could not push the dw back far enough so it would have to be secured from the top and they wisely would not drill into the quartz. We called Anna at Art Granite and asked for help and of course Art was ready to help us out. He got the job done and for a very reasonable honest charge. If you need countertops and are thinking not interested in any big box stores, think Art Granite in Schaumburg, they go all over and are the most honest and professional anywhere!!! So perfect, you can't see a seam?…read more Five stars is not enough! A friend referred me to this local countertop shop. I had lived with new marble top installed by previous homeowner in my kitchen since I moved in 8 years ago. But.. the pattern was very busy, never had a nice sheen, and when I placed a clear drinking glass on it, you easily missed it? (You can't miss it in one of the pictures below.) First visit was to their Batavia facility to take home samples and discuss approximate costs with a very knowledgeable and personable staff. Second visit was to my home to measure. Third was at their site with templates of my layout on the actual slab so I could see the grain and seam alignment as it would appear in finished countertop. This was fantastic because as much as I loved the pattern I had selected, I did not like the way it would appear completed. With NO pressure at all, I was encouraged to choose from similar patterns on their many other slabs of quartz so I could get the look I wanted. Templates were placed on another choice and the veins looked like they would match close at the seam. Three professionals arrived promptly at 8am and departed at 11am (perfectly as promised) and the finished job was more than I ever imagined. I had to really search for the seam but could only feel it as it is perfect... can you find it in the picture? (HINT: blue post-its align on seam in second image.)

Ordered a quartz countertop and a sink from Victor who I found through Facebook Marketplace…read more Picked it up on Friday and Victor wasn't there but his employee was. The employee put the sink on backwards. He had to rip it off and put it back on again. He did not do a good job as it shifted off of the countertop on our way home. Plus there wasn't a good amount of sealant or whatever between the sink and the countertop. I reached out to Victor and told him, sent pictures per his request and no response. Reached out six days later and still no response. Even got a read receipt from his iPhone saying he read it. Had to remove the sink ourselves and found the sink was defective with a bump in the porcelain plus his employee got adhesive, (like caulk but nothing would take it off), on the porcelain. Had to order a new sink. As my spouse and I were installing the sink correctly, we realized Victor's employee had cut it wrong. The unfinished side with the side splash should have been seven inches and the finished side should be six, (as it's not against a wall). Instead the unfinished side is six and the finished side is seven. With the side splash on it looks ridiculous and uneven. I messaged Victor, (no idea if that's even his real name), though Facebook messenger and he wasn't responding even though I could see he was reading my messages. When I said he doesn't care because he had his money he sent me a message back that made no sense and blocked me. Absolutely will not recommend. Avoid at all costs. This guy and his team are a scam and have no business doing anything with quartz or granite. Shoddy work. I'm out hundreds of dollars, but you don't have to be! Find someone else. Anyone and anywhere else...just not this place. This place shouldn't even have one star. It's that bad.
