We purchased quartz countertops from Art Granite almost 7 years ago and they did an excellent job. Five plus stars for sure. Well we needed their help with a new dishwasher that needed to be screwed into the quartz rather than the sides of the cabinet. Abt installed the dishwasher and due to a vent under the peninsula could not push the dw back far enough so it would have to be secured from the top and they wisely would not drill into the quartz. We called Anna at Art Granite and asked for help and of course Art was ready to help us out. He got the job done and for a very reasonable honest charge. If you need countertops and are thinking not interested in any big box stores, think Art Granite in Schaumburg, they go all over and are the most honest and professional anywhere!!! We stopped in on my lunch break to look at countertops for our bathroom with no understanding of the process or frame of reference. We were able to speak with Anna, who was very friendly and straightforward, look at samples, get an approximate quote based on the measurements we brought, and get back home with time to spare on my lunch hour. I was surprised with how simple it all was, and the price seemed reasonable. We called back and scheduled the in home measurement the same day, booked the service, and had it installed about a week later. On the day they did the installation, I had removed the previous sink but couldn't get it outside by myself. Art, the installer, helped me carry it down when he arrived, and was able to install the new counter and sink in less than an hour. Overall, a pretty easy and reasonably priced process. I must write another five star review. Of course, after our wonderful experience in Feb 2022 purchasing a small slab of quartz for my laundry room, it I was back for another countertop . Finishing our basement, we just put in a kitchenette. Anna made this experience just as easy as the first. She set up the appointment for the measurements right away, and within days I have my kitchen countertop ready for install. She was so accommodating, having it done in less than a week when initially it was quoted out at least a two week wait. In doing this, it made the flow of the rest of the installations (backsplash & appliances) smooth and stress-free. When it came to my new shower, she helped me pick out a new slab -I was in such a hurry, having to change the slab I originally chose due to size constraints, in a matter of minutes by running in to the shop on a lunch break. I was going to be traveling the next day, and my contractors were right in the middle of finishing my shower and needed an alternative choice to be picked out just before leaving out of town. As usual, Anna was there to help and all done within 60 minutes of my original phone call. Our other quotes had at least 2 weeks built in for fabrication; Art Granite had maybe a week. Actually, I think way less. Our other quotes nickel & dimed us for everything; the only extra charge Art Granite included was the disposal of our old countertop. Our other quotes included 2 seams; Art Granite has only 1 seam and it's really quite beautiful. Art Granite was cheaper, faster, and friendlier. We had Art Granite Countertop drill a hole into our countertop in order for us to install an under the sink water filter. They did an excellent job. We were able to schedule them in a short amount of time and they arrived on location at the scheduled time. Anna was very responsive and I texted back and forth with her trying to figure out a quote. The only reason they are not receiving a 5 star review was because after the hole was drilled, we were told that the $180 job could have been done ourselves with a $10 drill. We recently moved into the house and had no idea what type of material the countertop was made of. Anna asked me to send a picture to make sure it wasn't Corian. I did and she said it looked like Quartz. It turned out to be corian, but I'm not sure if there was any way to tell by just looking at the countertop (or without drilling a hole in it). read more

We had a very small job (needed to have an existing granite countertop cut down to accommodate a new refrigerator that was about 2 inches too wide for the space.) Also had some chips repaired and a cut in another top made for a soap dispenser. We just had Art Granite install new kitchen countertops and a top for our vanity. The fabrication and installation were completely perfect, our kitchen looks AMAZING. We wanted to install a breakfast bar as well but we weren't sure how deep it should be. When Art came out to measure he recommended a depth that is perfect. While measuring Art also pointed out certain cabinets that weren't 100% square and waited for my husband to square them up before taking his measurements to ensure everything would be perfect. Prior to the installation Anna was also great to work with. We had a tight timeline and a tricky schedule to work around but she was able to set appointments for both measuring & installation that worked for us. When I went into her office the first day I assumed they had a showroom and I would pick out granite there (I was a first time shopper) and she kindly explained that I needed to give her my measurements first so she could get a quote together & then go to the granite warehouses to pick the granite we wanted. Be sure to have your measurements ready when you go to the office for the first time! Overall we are very happy and would use Art Granite again! read more

Beware! This fabricator has great reviews on yelp, but I ran across something very interesting one day. I went in to talk to the owner and she was very nice and helpful. I gave her my email address and she added me to her g-talk on gmail. One day I received the following message.. 12:11 PM graniteartinc: hey Horhe just let you know the stupid costumer don't have cabinet ready so today is cancelled for Thursday but the job for tomorrow is on so can you come tomorrow ? No today sorry about it . 12:12 PM me: Hi Anna. Our kitchen countertops were installed this morning, and I can't stop going back in to admire them! They are simply spectacular - superbly fitted and finished, and I know that this was NOT an easy job to template and fabricate. Our house is almost 100 years old (ergo, nothing is plumb), the kitchen layout is ultra-quirky, and the cabinets are vintage St. Charles (look it up). Artur found creative solutions to all the problems, and added a few special details that greatly enhance the unique character of the room.
