It took a bit of back & forth to nail down the date but when they came, the 2 gentlemen immediately put shoe covers on before entering the house & were extremely considerate not to make a mess. They cleaned up our marble bathroom floor after years of neglect . Got out stains that I thought were permanent (had a bottle of nail polish break on the floor). In the kitchen, they took the time to color match the new caulking around our granite. Even 3 months later, the water still beads up on our countertop! From my first contact with Juan, everything went smoothly. He answered my call quickly and got back to me with a quote within the hour. I had checked 3 other stone maintenance companies (two of which were recommended to me) and Juan came in at a great price with the same or more protective maintenance than the others. Actually, the most expensive ($800) did not include caulking, which Juan did. Juan showed up on time, put on booties over his shoes for my flooring, and proceeded to take care of everything. He filled in a little chipped corner with epoxy and matched it fantastically. He cleaned all the counters and shelving, caulked everywhere including my sink, and let me know about the sealant he was going to use. My wife had a nice discussion with him about the leathered granite that we have and we will be using him to reseal at the suggested intervals. I think they weren't expecting me to say go ahead and do it because when I asked what dates they had available, they just quit responding. If you don't want to do a job for whatever reason, then just say so. I honestly was going to have my master bathroom gutted and remodeled when a contractor friend of mine told me to give Stone Masters a call to try to have the expensive travertine restored first. We are very impressed with Juan and his crew. He showed up promptly for a quote on our Saltillo driveway. This driveway has been refinished several times and we were very impressed with his suggestions In making sure it was refinished properly. After remodeling my shower in marble, I learned that the type of stone I had chosen was extremely soft and scratched easily. Once the installation was completed it looked great overall, but if you looked closely there were small scratches and the factory finish on the stone wasn't great. I initially hired another company to polish the shower walls to address these issues, but after trying for an hour they said the job was too difficult for them...and they actually recommended Juan and his team (saying they are the best in San Diego).
