I just hosted my daughter's 7th birthday party here and it was great. We had a private room and the kids had endless drinks and popcorn. They enjoyed skating and snacking whenever they wanted. We also ordered 50 wings which I assume must have been good bc they were gone in 10 minutes and I didn't get any. The hot dogs were good though. The party hostess was very attentive and the place was clean. The music was lively and the kids enjoyed themselves. I also liked that I wasn't locked it in a certain number of kids and I didn't have to pay for the toddlers. I had 11 kids come so I paid the base pay for 10 kids plus 1 more kid. The skates I've rented the past 2 times needed new insoles. The screws had worn threw. The music was too loud and after 12 noon much of it inappropriate for kids. I like that it is close to home and I don't mind the age of the facility. read more

Good fun for your budget but beware of those kids skating on dollar skate night. Even the most prolific skater will be found hitting the floor! Also some of these fools like to grab and push so come with your partial roller derby face on. read more

This is a message for the owner Paul Two Days ago on Monday June 1 I was accused of stealing by the owner just because I was in the snack bar area wit my bag zipping it up. All I had was a soda from the vending machine & my personal items but the owner insisted on me opening my bag & since it's my personal belongs I feel like I have the right to say yes or no & I said no. You then put his hands on me & threatened to slap me even went as far as to call the police on ya boy just because I didn't wanna show what was in my bag which had nothing but a soda from the vending machine & my personal belongs. That night I felt targeted, valeted, & disrespected it wasn't right how you assumed that I stole for what just cause I'm black right you don't engage wit the skaters, talk to the skaters, get to know them, or even watch have never even seen you in a pair of skates or with rentals on don't even think you own a pair of skates. All you do is stay in the pro shop the whole time & come out at the end do you even care about the people how we feel building long lasting friendship or just makin money/puttin Money in ya pocket. I won't an apologize for accusing & assuming I stole which I didn't & also for puttin ya hands on me & threatening to slap me which wasn't right & nowhere near ok it's uncalled for & not how you carry ya self as a business owner I'm willing to overlook this & forgive if you are so if I'm banned can you plz just unbanned & overlook this whole thing if not it shows a lot about your character & who you really are read more

I visited Stone Mountain Skates today with my daughter to purchase skates from the Pro Shop. We had a good experience except for not being able to try on both pair of the skates. Mind you, the skates were both over $100 and we should have been able to try them on. The floor appeared to be smooth and they were having a class (of which I will come back and try). The parking lot was a disaster - pot holes galore! The decor of the place looked "run down" and not appealing at all. It needs a major face lift to even resemble a skating rink. The customer service was okay and the guy helping us had quite a few customers at once. It would have been a better experience if we were able to try the skates on fully. I'm quite sure you can't return them and that should have been communicated as well. Overall, it was just good to be able to purchase skates. With Covid-19, I understand guidelines and new directives, but friendly customer service and being considerate of one's money should have and always remain the same. read more

Never will I waste any money here. Called code enforcement, railing is coming up! No air conditioner and they had the back door proped open which called myself and the kids to get bitten my bugs. Dirty. My feet stuck to the floor in the snack bar. The floors were full of popcorn and chip bags. The tables were sticky and full of trash. As for the bathrooms, what do you expect? I've only been on Thursday/adult night. Simple, cheap fun. If you are a great skater then you'll be in your element. If you're amateur, like me, you'll get tired easily and have a great time watching all of the avid skaters do their thing. The DJ is iffy, but I guess he's playing to the (mostly older) crowd, so lots of "grown & sexy" jams or booty grinding music, with the occasional neo soul track. read more

Dj play good music but the other workers are terrible and miserable.

The rink has a very nice amtophere and the customers service is very great. The best night to go are Monday's because it's only $2 for admission and $1 for skates. Saturday's evening sessions are nicer too. The dj on Saturday plays a mixture of everything. read more

All American is a wonderful place to be. The staff is loving, the food is good, the DJ is good, and the floor is good. When you come to All American the staff makes you feel appreciated, special, they make you feel like you have a place at all American that you truly do belong and the customers are looked at as family. The staff welcomes you with a smile, hug, and nothing but love. The staff goes out of the way to make sure that the customers are happy, welcomed, safe , and they make sure that everyone is having a good time. I've been to a few skating rinks like Cascade, Golden Glide, and even skate along. Though all those rinks are good, no skating rink compares to the love, the comfort, the kindness , & how much they truly care about & how well they connect with the customer. So please come to all american so can experience warm greetings, good music, good food, & most importantly you guys the customers get to really see how special all american is. read more

This place seems to have improved a LOT since I was last there over a year ago. The rink is huge and was apparently recently refinished. The A/C was working just fine on a sweltering hot day. (Perfect summer activity.) There's a "baby" rink next to the big one where I could take time to work on stopping and other techniques. The folks working there are friendly and competent. It has a good pro shop. It is very clean. (The parking lot and exterior, not so much.) I docked a star for two reasons. One, the music was just not to my liking. For roller skating I like disco (the only time I like it) and `80's and `90's pop. The modern urban music that the DJ plays loudly might be more enjoyable to others. Also, it would have been nice to have management exercise more regulation of the small children whose parents apparently didn't see the need to stop them from, at times, skating the wrong way, and just doing the stuff that unsupervised kids do. I intend to come back a lot more often since it is close to home and the price is ridiculously right. read more

This Skating Rink is a great past-time. The kids had fun, however, I remain to be appalled at the upkeep and lack of renovation. I have been going here for 25 years and the carpet has yet to be changed, bathrooms need renovation, and it just needs to be updated overall. It disgusts me that germs from people over 25 years are festering in the carpet. My kids even mentioned the bad smell. There are no excuses for this place not to get updated. I question how sanitary it is now. read more

I wish there were perfect conditions everywhere all the time, but there's not. All American is a great rink. The floor is super. They have games and sort of a food area. There is a smaller off rink area to skate for little kids. Sometimes the rink is not crowded and you can really own the floor. Other times it's a party and everyone is there. I love seeing the crowds. I have met some great new friends here and we see some of the same hot shot skaters too. I love the music. The variety and volume is good and doesn't blow you out. There are a number of different lights and disco balls to make the room come alive. You can tell the place has been there for a while because it's got some wear and tear. It would be much nicer if they could spend some money on a few upgrades. The 'Food Court' has seen better days and the bathrooms are a little sketch. We go to skate and then we head out. We don't live there. My favorite time is Friday evening. The next time for me is Sunday early after church. Try it out. If you buy skates there they used to give you a year pass with the skates. May have to try that. New skates rock. read more

DJ Tae Tae is the best DJ that they have, but she is not there often enough. My skate crew would like to see her on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at least. Carpets need to be cleaned. Staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

This place is sooo close to where I live and we would visit more often but the music is obnoxious and way too loud. I could get over what's being played but it's so loud you need ear plugs or your ears hurt! The DJ's don't seem to know what over modulated means because when they turn it up so loud you can't even understand what's being said. Forget trying to have a conversation with anyone in your group. I wish there was another place to take my family that was close by but this is it. read more

I wish I could just rate the concession stand. And I wish I could give "zero" stars. The rink is perfectly fine, but the concessions are so frustrating. Completely unmotivated employees. Could care less about getting the food out to customers in a timely manner. I never write negative reviews, but this is so beyond the pale. :-( read more

****BEWARE**** If you are looking to to book a skate party at this place!! I booked a party for my niece's 10th birthday. I paid a deposit, paid an extra $20.00 for a semi-private room and was told by the "manager" Gary Silverman that there would be balloons, pink skating themed decorations and tableware, streamers etc. We arrived at 7:10 and the staff was unaware of the party; we were told it was booked under a different name. We get over to the party area, it's dark, dirty,and un-decorated. The supervisor's answer was "oh, your party doesn't start until 7:30". At 7:25 I went back and was told the same thing! Eventually, they got someone to run over and clean off a table, sweep up the chicken bones and trash off the floor and the literally throw down a piece of BLUE plastic on the table with some blue plates and cups. All this while my niece and her friends had to wait. The pizzas were only partially baked and the kids wouldn't eat it so they agreed to re-bake one of them for us. The party was a disaster from start to finish. We requested a partial refund, and was told they could only offer passes or another party. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! The place is dirty, staff and management do not care if they ruin a child's birthday party. We were very disappointed. read more
