    Fish dinner

This spot here! This spot has been around for more than a decade. I'm 33 and I was the youngest person in the establishment. This is an older crowd where everyone knows everyone, however they treated you like family. They were playing mainly blues and old school r&b. The food was hot and fresh and the prices were definitely reasonable. They have a full bar but no drink menu because as stated earlier, this is a local bar and the people already know what they want lol. That's verbatim from our server's mouth. I had the fish dinner. It has 3 pieces of whitening, fries, and cole slaw.

    Great fun!

Great family welcome at the door with drinks that pour heavy and wings that are the best I've EVER had! Want to find a place with great bight life and dancing? This is it!

I was nervous to walk in as I was in town for business and not a local. It was late and they said they had chicken wings. One thing I learned about Atlanta was, lots of chicken wings, not a lot of hours of service signs lol.... Like I said was a bit scary to walk into, security patted me down tougher than any air port I've ever been to. I got in an let me tell you! This place was ATL FORREAL!!! Extremely nice and friendly environment! Drinks weren't crazy priced, and were poured well, chicken wings were off the chain and the people watching was top notch. I'm from Texas where the do drunk country karaoke at late night bars. Here they did drunk freestyling, it was awesome. Really enjoyed myself and the drinks and the chicken wings. Thank you bigelows!

It's a hole in the wall spot, but always a good time. I prefer Wednesday's for karaoke night or Thursday when they have line dancing. I hear Tuesday gets pretty crowded but i don't do dark crowded places lol. The food is basic and served on styrofoam plates but delicious! I have had the fried wings, fried fish and fried pork chops, All full of flavor! This is a spot that we frequent because with strong cheap drinks, and good food, nothing more is needed from a hole in the wall spot like this!

This is a great hole in the wall spot for good strong drinks, good food and good music. It gets pretty crowded on Tuesdays and the weekends. I believe it's a cover charge after a certain time of $10 dollars. I always come here for the fish dinner. It's sooooo good. Parking can be a nightmare. The guy charges $10 in the lot next to it which is crazy to me. So arrive early for parking in Bigelows lot.

This is a pretty cool hole in a wall spot that has been around for ages. It's mostly an older crowd made up of your locals. It doesn't look like much m the outside (or inside for that matter) but do not be deterred. I enjoy it best on a Saturday night! The music is good and the drinks are STRONG (their Long Islands are lethal). Entrance the last Saturday night I went was $5. I didn't have any cash on me so the door woman held my ID while I paid for an entry stub at the bar inside. It's usually pretty packed out by 11pm so parking in the lot can be difficult. Last time I was there there was parking available across the street for $10. If you're looking for a good time without the glitter and frills, this is the right spot!

Thus is what the bar offers. Lol

We started with French toast bites, pork belly bites and the Thai chili hush puppies. All three had good flavor and for the most part good value. For our meals we had fish and chips, Nashville hot biscuit(HUGE), grits and sausage patties, shrimp and grits, crab cake benny and the seared tuna. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. We came in on a Sunday and I guess it's a slow day as they only had one server that we noticed. Even though it wasn't super busy it was a lot for one person but he took it like a champ. It is a really cool place and the decor is nice. Overall we had a good experience here and would come back if we are in the area. I do think the Bellini flight should have been on some sort of serving platter like most places use to make it look nice.

I know the word gets overused, but it truly was a whole vibe. What I loved most is that it's the kind of place where everyone feels welcome. There's no pressure, no strict dress code--just a come-as-you-are energy, and people genuinely receive you that way. Within five minutes of being there, I already felt comfortable. Everyone was so friendly--the bartenders, the people around us, even the random interactions felt warm and easy. The space itself is really cool too. They have artwork featuring icons like Prince, Tupac, and Biggie, which added to the overall atmosphere. We ordered the King Peach (I believe it had bourbon--I did take a picture of the menu, though it's a little cut off), and it was really good. Smooth, flavorful, and easy to sip. They're open until 2 AM, so it's a great spot whether you're grabbing a drink with friends, on a date, or even just stopping by solo to soak in the energy. It's one of those places where you can just be. I'd love to make this a regular spot--definitely somewhere I can see myself coming back to at least once a month.

Two pieces of battered and fried white fish served with tartar sauce, a tiny scoop of cole slaw, and French fries. My companions had chicken wings, vegetarian chili, and poutine. The chili was fantastic, and I heard good things about the chicken, but the poutine was a pass. The cafe is reasonably large, with two dining areas inside plus a bar and an outdoor patio. The decor is neighborhood sporty, with an emphasis on Wisconsin (Green Bay Packers and UW Badgers prominent). I'd definitely eat there again.

The restaurant was recently rebranded and I was curious to see what was new. I stopped in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in. Seating was open at the time and Noah, who was both the bartender and our server, greeted us with water right away. I have never been impressed by a casual restaurant's menu design before, but The Pub at EAV truly stands out. It is well thought out and visually appealing. I had been eyeing the tom yum wings for a while and ordered them as an appetizer. They were flavorful and served hot. The restaurant also provides complimentary house made pickles, and they were genuinely good. For my drink, I tried the Sneaky Link cocktail. Noah added muddled strawberries because it was a fresh batch and needed a little balance. I would honestly recommend keeping the strawberries as part of the drink because it turned out delicious. For entrées, we ordered the Heck Fire Burger and chose to have the bread served shareable style. They bake their bread in house and it is so good that they could easily offer a bread service option on its own. We also tried the lamb shank which was tender and very well prepared. The only disappointment of the entire evening was the bread pudding. It was recommended with a lot of enthusiasm which made me excited to try it. I ordered it to go and reheated it at home. Unfortunately, it tasted freezer burnt and slightly cross contaminated, almost as if it had absorbed the flavor of another item nearby. I am not a picky eater, but I could only take a couple of bites. Overall, The Pub at EAV is a great addition to the neighborhood. The service was excellent, the food was exciting and creative, and I will definitely return to try more dishes.

I was there on a weekend night, and it was super chill and had a really good performance situation happening on stage. This one is a little bit weird because you have to do certain things to be able to get in. It's not like it's an escape room situation, but at the same time, it's a little active. Not overly active to where you would be taxed when you get there. But you have to go follow some instructions and once you get in it's all gravy!
