This salad was missing the most important part - the kalamata olives! I went back to the counter and pointed out the discrepancy. They said "we're out of olives." "What?" I just had the worst experience of my life at this location. I have never felt so disrespected in my life! The woman at the register charged me for water that I brought from my house! And didn't even apologize when I confronted them. My water bottle clearly reads Kirkland on it when the water they sell is pure life. My wife loves Stone Oven so when we were inside Topanga Mall, she wanted to get her spicy chicken sandwich for dinner. We came around lunch time but they were not busy at all. We were able to place our order and then watch how they made it. They somehow give me a mall employee discount so that's always good. I watched how they made the bread and then put it in their oven. It took about maybe 5 or 10 minutes to make the sandwich because they were making other orders as well. The service was good until my food was ready. They called the number and then walked away, I wanted to ask for a bag but all the employees just ignored me until some girl saw I been standing there for a while. She asked what I wanted in a non friendly tone and I just said a to go bag. She handed it to me and give that look of annoyance so that was my only complaint here. Yum but. The service was amazing today, on a VERY busy day I asked them to make me a veggie sandwich and pause to change gloves to avoid cross contamination. They not only changed gloves but first washed the cutting board and knife. I'm forever grateful. That's said I've come to really question places offering vegetarian options but not being careful about cross contamination. If I didn't ask I fear what I would have gotten. I think they offer the tastiest fast food. I ordered the Santa Fe Ham sandwich. Quality ingredients, little spicy and good portion. Comes with either mix green or Caesar salad. They offer different dressing options.Very full filing. Workers are not very engaging. In fact I think the lady who helped me did not speak English so well but no big deal. I wish I had a better review. In the past Stone Oven has been really good. But today's order is a huge thumbs down. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with EXTRA AVOCADO via DoorDash. The sandwich is already supposed to have avocado and I paid $2 to get EXTRA. Please see attached photos. There's a grand total of 2 tiny cubes on the sandwich. I've received a larger portion of avocado than when I don't pay for any extras. On top of that, there's about 3 strings of Parmesan on my Caesar salad and it's missing the croutons.
