The BBQ Chicken Sandwich at Stonefire is hands-down the best sandwich I've ever had. The bread alone is to die for -- soft, flavorful, and the perfect base for everything in between. The chicken is tender and smoky, and the crispy onions add that decadent crunch you can't replicate at home (trust me, I've tried). Their basil pasta salad is the perfect pairing, fresh and flavorful, balancing the richness of the sandwich. Pro tip: Ask for their chipotle sauce on the side -- it's incredible for dipping, and you can even try adding a side of basil pasta sauce for a flavor twist. I personally add lettuce to mine for a bit of balance, but honestly, the sandwich is perfection either way. Every bite is the perfect mix of smoky, crunchy, creamy, and fresh. Also try to sub the bbq chicken for spicy chicken I LOVE their spicy chicken with the bacon , cheese, and chipotle

My BFF tried to tell me, "this isn't a salad place, you have to get a sandwich," and I'm glad I didn't listen! The Mediterranean Chicken Salad slapppppped! One of the best Mediterranean salads I've ever had! Loved the homemade pita chip things. It was very filling (and I was starving from melting in the sun all day at the pool when I had it). I wish we had this spot in the SGV because I'd order that salad at least once/week lol. Salads can be so hit and miss on portion vs. price vs. amount of non-lettuce items, and this one was on point in all categories.

Such a solid option for food at the mall! I was pleasantly surprised by how good my sandwich was. The cashier was very friendly. There isn't much to say about ambiance since it is in a food court, but still a good experience.

My wife loves Stone Oven so when we were inside Topanga Mall, she wanted to get her spicy chicken sandwich for dinner. We came around lunch time but they were not busy at all. We were able to place our order and then watch how they made it. They somehow give me a mall employee discount so that's always good. I watched how they made the bread and then put it in their oven. It took about maybe 5 or 10 minutes to make the sandwich because they were making other orders as well. The service was good until my food was ready. They called the number and then walked away, I wanted to ask for a bag but all the employees just ignored me until some girl saw I been standing there for a while. She asked what I wanted in a non friendly tone and I just said a to go bag. She handed it to me and give that look of annoyance so that was my only complaint here. My wife loved her sandwich and salad.

This place a good sandwich shop - they bake their own bread, the service is pretty fast, the variety of sandwiches and sides are good. Worth it. The price isn nice too. You eat it and will feel full. They have a free fresh water dispenser which is nice. I got bbq brisket with caesar salad - the best combo! The meat is super tender and overall the flavor is amazing. There is a bunch of seats around and other eateries so you always have a choice. Good business - good food

First time here and ordered the garlic and basil chicken sandwich with pasta salad on the side. I'd give the meal a 8/10. The sandwich was a bit dry but was flavorful, as was the pasta salad. The portion wasn't super big for the price but was enough to fill me up. I'd return and maybe try a different sandwich.

Service! I typically love coming here and I don't know what happened today but I ordered three things and only one was correct. Two of my south west chicken salads, had NO chicken, not a TRACE. Please pay close attention to people orders. I get it's not intentional but it just sucks to get this.

It's a late Friday evening, so I understand that food places get busy. There are a lot of customers waiting for their food and the rush kicks in. What I won't understand is how the workers can have one of their gloves marinating in my order. As seen with the attached picture, there is a full large hand glove in my salad. Usually you get a side of croutons or something similar for your salad... NOT A HAND GLOVE!! It was rolled into my salad, so I did not know it was there until two bites in. That made me sick to my stomach. It blows my mind how the worker left their gloves in my order and not in the trash can. Who knows if the glove was marinating in other customer's salad as well. I feel sick.

It's a mall food court place and for that it delivers in spades. Food is good- solid clean and tasty. Service is efficient and friendly. Nice place to eat if you are avoiding greasy fried foods or enjoy light sandwiches and salads.

Special instructions don't show up on their online takeout/delivery orders. They won't see it. Call ahead if have special instructions.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR ONLINE ORDERS: They don't get the information you put in the "special instructions" section of your order! So if you put "sauce on the side" or "no onions" there, they won't see it! You either have to select one of the listed options to remove an ingredient or call ahead to let them know. The cashier and I tested it by putting in an order right at the store. Their system isn't set up to see that info. Not their fault, but important to know! Just PSA for those with allergies!! The food is great though!!

Hello fellow yelpers! Are you ready for this one? If not, buckle up. It's a goodie I have been eating here since it opened. We're talking years, folks. The food is delicious, which has always been the thing to keep me coming back. However, the service has gotten increasingly worse over the last couple of years. Due to covid, I have been placing orders weekly via various apps and also have ordered directly through the restaurant. Without fail, every.single.time. there is an issue with my order. At first I was understanding and patient. After this continued to happen, time and time again, I finally decided to speak up and ask for a refund. They refused, stating that they take no responsibility if an order is incorrect that was placed on an app. After this happened multiple times, the manager said he would give me a free sandwich the next time I came in and took my name down so that I would be able to get this replacement sandwich, whether he was working or not. Cut to today... I went to the counter to place my order and informed them of my conversation with the manager regarding my free sandwich. Not only did they refuse to honor this, they told me that because of "their" mistakes, that they will no longer serve me! It's very unfortunate that because of mistakes that were made with my order, time and time again, instead of them taking responsibility for errors on their part, they are making me out to be the villain in this mini-drama. Please learn from my experience and never place a to go order from this restaurant. read more

Ok, I usually love stoneoven. My favorite is their chicken Mediterranean salad. Today I ordered online so when I would get to the mall, it would be ready. Took my order to go, and I came back to the office. I opened my salad and was greeted by some old hard bread. :( I usually don't eat bread, but this is my exception. Cold, hard bread is not good. On to my salad.... lettuce was warm and wilted. Cucumbers also warm and wilted. Almost everything in my salad was not fresh! I started eating it and it taste awful. I am a fan of their food, I ordered Ham sandwich yesterday as usual the only thing was usually bread is warm but yesterday maybe because they were busy bread was not warm and usually their potato salad is better this time the chunk of potato was really big and there was not enough green onion ... I recommend this good to be tried it is really good good. read more

They are short with staff that for sure, usually when you order fast food at the mall it's about 3-5 minutes ready, here it took them 7 minutes but it's definitely worth to wait The Goat cheese chicken salad was great! read more

My friend Lisa likes eating at this place, so I followed her lead and ordered from here versus the various options at the mall. They ran out of the beef brisket when I ordered, so with my quick thinking I opted for the garlic and basil chicken sandwich with the side of a garden salad. They were nice enough to put out some fresh bread samples with various dipping sauces. I don't know if they were specifically for us waiting hungry customers or to attract passersby as potential customers to this establishment. Either way, I and other waiting patrons had our way with the sample bread. The bread sample pieces were fluffy and warm, and the dipping sauces were delicious and tangy. I wish I could just order that, but that does not a healthy meal make. My food came out fairly quickly after I ordered. My garlic and basil chicken sandwich was heavily saved by the avocado. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad sandwich at all; I just really love avocado. Ah, I just wish they had the brisket sandwich at the time, I still really want to try that. read more

I've been a Stone Oven fan for years... usually going to the one in Northridge...sometimes Valencia. Recently ordered for delivery and for some reason it moved my store to Canoga Park. No biggie...or so I thought! Got my order and it was terrible. So bad, I made note to make sure I don't order from that location again. Tonight, my son ordered for us and I forgot to tell him not to order from CP. As soon as I opened my box, I knew it was from CP. Made so sloppy, chicken was DRY, avocado black, almost no basil dressing. Both sandwiches were terrible. After working all day, no lunch, I was looking forward to a delicious meal. CP is so disappointing. You ruined my night. Never again. Get it together. read more

The best spicy chicken sandwich, EVER! Fresh bread. My only complaint is how sloppy the sandwiches are assembled, I guess it all goes to the same place, so I am not really complaining. Place is in the mall. The sandwiches taste ok but The service is extremely slow for what it is. The sandwiches are just slapped together in a very unappetizing way. Nothing is spread evenly or with any care. They scrape food onto the floors. They grab food with their hands from the service station (with their gloves) but they touch the meat, lettuce for salads, cheese, and bread without changing any gloves. Just seems dirty and messy. read more

The reason I'm giving this location a 1 star is because they have the worse customer service, they constantly take online order over customers that are waiting or have already place the order. Although the food quality is consistent the staff and service needs to be retrained !!!! read more

One star is being generous. The service is super rude and not to mention, they are out of products. Hot sauce and pasta. 2 ingredients that the place must have in stock. Remind you it's only 12 noon. Hahah. They should be stocked up on these things daily. Management should take notice on how to speak to customers and make sure you order products to stay in business read more

I hardly go to the Topanga Mall but my husband and I went to pick up an order that was only available for pick-up at this location. For lunch, we decided to eat something from the food court. As we browsed a menu at the counter, a customer in line came up to us and told us about how she loved the sandwiches. I ordered the Santa Fe Hot Ham sandwich and I loved the flavor and my husband ordered the Spicy Chicken sandwich and it was also delicious. We both ordered it with the pesto pasta which was also great. The mango lemonade was also delicious. We will definitely be back. read more

I used to eat here constantly when I worked in the mall and the food was always excellent & on point. I had a craving and decided to order my usual sandwich & salad today. I specified and paid for added avocado. Came home after placing it to-go..no avocado. Also seems like their Caesar dressing changed and not for the better. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Google maps said it opened at 11am, arrived to Stone Oven at 11:10am and wasn't approached after 5 minutes after waiting there just standing being ignored just for an employee to tell me they don't open until 12. Manager should update their hours. I recommend Northridge Stone Oven, more friendly and better customer service. read more

As a side job, I do food delivery. Pre covid-19, I loved working with the employees. Since they reopened during covid-19, I hate it. All employees are new and unprofessional. I try to explain something to the employee and won't let me finish of my sentences. Threatened to call security to throw me out. Called to call delivery company to block them from my account so I won't do pick ups anymore. read more

The food here is great, as usuall for a fast food place, nothing really changes. But the customer service & Food prep suck ass, how can you mess up an order twice ok you put the wrong side understandable, then you have the wrong sandwich. Common look at the paper and slap that right baby on my plate my dogs can listen to directions better than this. Comon stone oven shape up ! read more

I love the stone oven bread that is made for every sandwich and salad. So fresh and so yummy! I ordered the southwest chicken Caesar salad, which my yummy bread on the side. The salad is huge with a good amount of avocado on top. I love using the salad dressing as a dipping sauce for the warm stone oven cooked bread. There sandwiches are just as amazing. My favorites include the brisket and the spicy chicken sandwiches. When you order a sandwich, you have the option of a small side - garden salad, Caesar salad, pasta salad, or potato salad. This may be my first time trying Stone Oven and it definitely didn't disappoint. We ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with a side of potato salad. Their focaccia bread is so soft and the pesto sauce and cheese complimented the chicken so well. And the potato salad was something else. One of the better potato salads I've tried. The portions are fairly small and not meant for sharing. Perfect lunch for one person. The sandwich and side came up to 8.99 after tax. read more

Decent, even after the food is cold. We took our food to go but it was still pretty good after. Portion is decent. Sandwich it's pretty filling. I suggest ordering the bbq sandwich with their pasta. Sandwich has Great flavors in every bite, salad has light flavors, you don't feel too heavy after eating. read more

The focaccia is to die for. There is an employee handing out samples, as soon as we tasted the focaccia, we were sold. I ordered the Garlic Basil chicken sandwich, my boyfriend had the spicy chicken sandwich, and my son had the bbq chicken sandwich. I tasted them all and I would say the best is the spicy chicken. Definitely the winner. Its like a southwest chicken salad combined with the best focaccia bread I've had. Don't get me wrong all the sandwiches were great, but there was something about the combination of the ingredients in the spicy chicken sandwich that just stood out above the rest. I'm totally irritated with THIS Stone Oven tonight. I ordered my fav...the Green Apple and Walnut chicken salad and substituted the bleu cheese for Parmesan. They packaged up my salad in a bag and only for me to find out that they don't have the candied walnuts and didn't bother to tell me. They gave me pecans instead and I despise pecans. I just don't get why they didn't tell me ahead of time. Walnuts are in the title of the darn salad and they take it upon themselves to give me pecans without asking. Good thing I'm not allergic to pecans. The two stars is for how delicious their bread is. read more

They then inform the guy that always wears a black shirt and slick back hair who I believe is a manager and he comes over and explains that this section is for walk ins that plan to sit and eat here and am welcomed to wait outside or in the waiting area.I informed him it wasn't a problem but thats the reason I asked from the beginning. I also mentioned we drove from Simi Valley to come here and there were many other restaurant options but I told him how the waitress treated me and he said he would talk to her. I told him I would pay for the coffee and I would leave. He said don't worry about the coffee. I didn't even finish my coffee I set it down and left. After coming here for years with family, friends, even referring this place to others I WILL NEVER COMEBACK AGAIN. We made our way to the Country Café in Chatsworth and of course got great hospitality and food.

I'm in shock from the way the employee was yelling at me when I asked him to give me lemonade with no ice. My son didn't want it he said it was way too cold. The employee started yelling and screaming at me that he will call the guards. People are going nuts with the corona virus. Just trash it and give me a new one. No instead he was yelling like crazy. The manager didn't bother to come to help. I went to the manager and told him why do you let your employee act like that. He told me the manager is not here. He was lying to me. He told me the manager will be here tomorrow and then he tells me I'm the manager what do you need. Their service is disgusting. Never going back to this restaurant what a shame. Usually I don't really like fast food places because you hate your self after you eat and trying to understand why would you do that to your body. One day I went to the mall with my hubby and we started to feel the hanger kicking. We had a few more stores to visit at the mall so we decided to compromise and go to one of the fast food places at the food section went to stone oven and trust me it was no compromise. The food was fresh, delicious and not fast foody at all. Usually I can never finish my food but this time it was all gone!!!!! I recently visited this restaurant and ordered a beef brisket sandwich. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find slices of bacon on half of the sandwich. As someone who does not consume bacon due to religious reasons, this was quite distressing. I dont like Stone Oven I LOVE ITTT!!!! It is my fave in the world. You wouldnt think that you can get such a great meal for so little!! This place is AWESOME and this is where i make it a point to eat anytime im in or around the mall!!! They have a location in the Topange Mall and the Northridge Fashion Center AND Glendale Galleria. If you know what to order you're going to be satisfied. If you don't want tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, beans, etc. say so. The ingredients are all good, you just need to specialize. Because the menu is fixed May ant to change some things. Tips. Pasta salad is mushy. Potato salad is good a little extra creamy. Chicken is sliced not cubed. The bread is fabulous. I have only tried the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad, which I usually get without bacon. Extremely delicious and would recommend! I love Stone Oven. I'm gluten intolerant, so I look for places where I can get a salad when I'm on the go...and the salads at Stone Oven are the best. They're filled with premium ingredients (like goat cheese, avocado, etc.) and they're not stingy with amount of meat you get. This is way beyond a standard fast food salad. read more
