Stonebriar Mall has plenty of my favorite stores like White House Black Market, Macy's, Lucky, and Victoria's Secret to name a few. And there are great methods by which to bribe the kids that are reluctantly shopping with mom. (Carousel, Train ride, Ice Rink in winter, Ice Cream, lots of restaurants, etc...) However, things are becoming too crowded with the huge influx of new residents to Frisco & surrounding areas. I'm beginning to avoid coming here unless it's a weekday, in which case it is still too crowded. And, I hate that I have to avoid eye contact with the numerous venders that have kiosks set up in the corridors lest I become their prey. 4 stars for the store selection & cleanliness - 3 stars for making me feel like I have to wade through a sea of people. I really wish Frisco North would hurry up with breaking ground. Really...do it already...I and my friends and the rest of us who are just south of Oklahoma will be there multiple times a week. read more

Perfectly decent mall. Doesn't have the super upscale stores like Northpark or as many stores as Galleria, but still a good mall overall. It stays pretty busy so the parking can be a hassle, but just go on the side where Gaylord is as opposed to the freeway, much easier to park over there by Dicks or Nordstrom's. The food court has a carousel for the kids which is a nice touch. They're also currently adding quite a few new stores so that'll help step it up even more. Pretty cool that there's a Dave and Busters and a movie theatre too. read more

This mall is just your average mall. It's not a bad mall, but it's definitely not my favorite in the DFW area. Pros: -best variety of stores, most malls are geared towards women shoppers but this one has something for everyone, AMC movie theater, Dick's Sporting goods, Barnes and Noble, Dave and Buster's, Apple, Lego, Microsoft, and so on, you don't have to be into clothes and shoes to shop here, which I think is honestly this mall's biggest selling point -they do have some of my favorites particularly Nordstrom, Loft, Express, and Sephora -they have a NYX cosmetics store which is something really unique Cons: -always busy, I've been here at 8pm on a week day night when the mall closes at 9pm and there are still a ton of people around -if you go on the weekends their food court is PACKED, and it's hard to find a place to sit -parking is awful, the parking is normally full because it is such a busy mall, and it's mainly lot parking instead of parking garages, so the spots you get are typically far away and can be a walk -they used to have an ice skating rink, but they removed it read more

Stonebriar center is a fairly new mall and a nice one as well. It's close to my place and the mall has all the stores you'll need. The food court has about 7 options to choose from and plenty of seating. There's a merry go round located near the food court. The restrooms are well maintained and parking is plenty. read more

I would have to say this is probably my favorite mall in the metroplex. They have pretty much all the stores you would want to shop at sans the Armani's, Cartier's, etc. If you're looking for those higher end stores you'll be better off going to Willow Bend or NorthPark. It's clean and they layout is very simple so you won't ever have to retrace your steps. Stonebriar is hoppin on the weekends and you'll probably want to avoid that mess. read more

I used to work at this mall back in highschool. It really has turned into the Frisco/Plano high (or even middle school) hangout of choice since. Parking is ample with the exception of weekends. Some people also seem to use the parking lot as free stadium parking at the Dr. Pepper baseball stadium next door. The variety of stores is quite good for young adults and families. The anchor department stores (Macy's Dillard's, JCPenney's, Nordstrom's) are decent and the sales are usually noteworthy. If you're into super high-end though, this might not be the mall for you. (Check out the Dallas Galleria, Willow Bend or NorthPark Mall instead) Kids will enjoy the indoor Carousel, skating rink, and foam play park. read more

I was here meeting up with friends to watch a movie (The Hunger Games Finale) on Saturday Nov. 21st. I arrived early to pick up the tickets around 11:20AM and after doing so, decided to get coffee from the Starbucks at the food court. I was planning to do some shopping as well before meeting my friends but then decided to simply wait until my coffee cooled down since I didn't want to be carrying around a drink inside the department stores. I then found a quiet spot outside Dillard's and began to go through my phone while my coffee cooled. By now it was close to 11:45AM and one of my friend's texted me that she was at Barnes and Noble getting coffee and to meet her outside. So I began to walk towards the Barnes and Noble. I didn't see her at the second floor entrance so walked to the first floor. Then she called me and said she's on the second floor. So I proceeded up and met her and we were trying to find a good spot to wait for our third friend. We found a set of chairs right in the middle foyer of the mall on the first floor. We were simply talking and laughing and I noticed a security guard standing directly in front of me (within some 30 feet). He was simply standing there but every 20 to 30 seconds, he would turn back and look at me. This went on for 20 minutes which at first I thought nothing of it (although his behavior was very odd). Then we received a call from our other friend that he was parking and to meet us at the AMC theatre upstairs. So my friend and I got up and began walking. I then noticed the security guard starring hard at me and right as we walked upstairs, he quickly dispersed. It then registered to me that he was "observing" me or in more blunt terms, profiling me. I get that in light of recent terrorist attacks, there is a need to be more aware of people in public places to ensure safety. My suggestion to Stonebriar Mall is to ensure they've done a better job of educating their security staff that observing customers (in particular those you assume are of a certain ethnic appearance) should not be done in an obvious and belligerent manner. The amount of effort this guard and I'm sure others spent on observing me could have easily allowed a real criminal to walk right into the mall without notice. read more

This is my favorite mall. It's cool, has nice atmosphere, family welcomed, great for doing shopping and hanging out with friends. I ate at a few restaurants there and it didn't seem to have the best service. Of course one reason of that is because it's usually busy. The theater is really cool! I love the AMC theater. They have a pretty good variety of stores i shop at and their prices are generally good. I can't say that I always have the same experience every time but most of the time I enjoy going there. It's in a nice area and it's not too far from where I live. I also like shopping at stores near by the mall. It's a pretty busy mall and I usually have a hard time finding a good parking spot. For the love of all that is good and just, brace yourself for a trip to Stonebriar, especially if you're (and I'm pointing at yours truly here) a holiday shopping procrastinator who finds himself on the quick to knock out lots of shopping in short order. You can go ahead and just assume that you're in someone's way or they're in yours. Cause that's most likely the situation at any rate. I will say that the store selection here is fairly expansive, the accoutrements well considered, the atmosphere bright and cheery. But when I visited another store at another shopping center and knew I'd have to head here, she told me which large store to park outside of to make my way inside. Those were instructions that didn't make sense to me at the time, but boy do they now. I'm sure this mall makes money hand over fist, and they were bringing them in from all four corners when I was there. Rarely do I go to malls to shop. Like most malls it has all the normal stores you are looking for. The size of each shop is pretty small considering how big the mall is itself. It is aesthetically appealing, being so open. Parking is a pain since the lanes are tight and can extend far away from the entrance. 3 Stars for your average mall read more

I can't believe I have never been in this mall before!! First it has a Dave Buster's in it and a movie theater what more do you need???? This mall is huge and has a lot of stores that I like to shop at so the mall gets bonus points for that. There is an Apple Store, H&M the big department stores such as Nordstrom, Macys and Dillard's. What makes this mall so great is that outside of the mall there are great stores and restaurants. The food court is pretty big and has a lot of different restaurants to choose from. What stood out to me is that they have a Paciugo in there for people with a sweet tooth but don't want the calories. I will definitely be going back. read more

I didn't want to touch anything in here because of the lack of people wearing masks and touching their faces. It felt unclean. I don't know any of these people, I don't know if they have Covid or not. It's just common courtesy for other people to wear a mask. I guess courtesy isn't being taught anymore. The stores that are opened are pretty good at wiping stuff down. I went to the Amazon and Bath and Body Works to get hand sanitizer, something I don't really need to use at home, but if I'm going out, I want to make sure I have it. I stood in a line that had markers on the floor and some fat dude without a mask stood too close behind me. I told him to step back because he was kind of sweaty. He apologized. I wanted to go to the Microsoft store but it was closed due to Covid which is understandable because half of the people there weren't wearing masks. I didn't want to touch the rails of the escalator, no one was wiping it down. I was going to buy a Starbucks Frap and pretzels at Auntie Annes, thinking about a place to sit made me think twice because no one was wiping the tables down. I can see why malls are closing down in America and in Texas. The people are just ignorant. read more

Yowza, this mall is HUGE!! I am shocked I have never been here before. I have always been a fan of the Galleria mall, but this mall totally surpasses it. All of my favorite stores are there...even an Apple store. With all of the jewelry stores (many), I was able to find some bling for my birthday present- happy birthday to me! Add a Super Target, and the mall would be complete! Dear God in Heaven, a beautiful mall and Target in one building- I would never leave. Plus, the steps on my Fitbit totally racked up by how the mall went on forever. I wish I lived closer.. The best mall in the DFW area, unless you need a professional ice skating rink (yes, it has one, but it's puny compared to the Galleria's). Two levels, lots of shops, and a carousel and playground for toddlers. Parking can be problematic around the Barnes and Noble/movie theater area, and forget about even parking there around the busy shopping holidays. read more

I go to Stonebriar frequently. It is clean, and I like the Macy's. It is a large mall with all of the necessary retailers, a Barnes and Noble, an Apple Store, and plenty of parking. Yes, there are a lot of teens on any given Saturday or Sunday, but they don't bother me. Oh, they also have Wasabi, a new conveyor belt sushi restaurant. I like the layout of Stonebriar, but they do not have the higher end retailers like North Park. Either way, it's a great place to kill some time, and get in some retail therapy. read more

This is a pretty good mall to come to for your MALL needs like Apple, Disney, Lego, H&M, you know the bigger brands. Weekends gets packed but parking is not a problem. It's super close so if you're in the north Plano/Allen, it takes less than 10 mins to go. Take the side roads tho! It's a literal straight line. Come here on the weekdays may be less stressful than weekends. It's not bad, I come here after North Park and the outlet malls. I do kind of hate the kiosk vendors because recently I was there by myself and this guy said hi which I said hi back BUT he didn't hear me so he assumed I didn't say anything back. He actually yelled at me saying, "IT'S OKAY MISS, SMILE AND SAY HI!!" and he kept repeating it as I walked by. I was so annoyed! Like what the heck dude, I did say hi!!! First visit to stone briar. Never been here before It has a funky smell to it that persists. It's a nice mall and it reminds me of the mall of america (at least 1/15 of it). Regardless, it's very welcoming and not too crowded. There are lots of places to sit and relax. I like that they have an ice rink there and a decent selection of clothing stores. The food court does have poor selections. Nothing unique. You always see a panda express, a sbarro, and a sonic malls. I think they also had a chick fil-a too. read more

Nice clean modern mall. I'm not much of a mall person, about once every 5 years and I'm good. We chose to drive a long distance to go to this mall. It is two floors and has a little bit of everything. I even found a couple of stores that interested me. One thing that caught my eye was the overall design. I can't say I've been to many stores or malls where I can remember the architecture. I wouldn't say it is stunning or anything like that, but it is above and beyond most any shopping place I've been too. It is almost like the builder/designer had a vision to make the experience more pleasurable with the architectural design. The use of light, glass, metal, and the flow was good. Parking was a bit of a problem, but I suppose that will happen on a busy Saturday. There are a couple of good stores in here, Barnes and Nobles being one, that I can enjoy. People watching here is fun also. Nice choice of restaurants. They have one of those indoor sky diving places in the parking lot. I really want to go there someday! I would be hard pressed to give any mall a 5 star rating. Ever. Just a matter of principle. Have I mentioned I'm not much of a mall person? This place is perfect if you are not going on the weekend. It is usually very crowded and teenagers EVERYWHERE trying to be cool - apparently parents use this the mall as a babysitter. But I enjoy some of the shops like Dicks, Cinnabun, Dave and Busters, Cheesecake Factory and AMC. Had a run in with mall security when my wife was taken by ambulance to the hospital. They kept asking me if my wife was drunk. How a heart condition is related to the fact that my wife and I don't drink I will never understand. I told them multiple times we don't drink and hadn't been drinking that day. (Is this question because a lot of people show up here drunk?) Mall security isn't a credit to this place. read more

This mall has all the stores a girl can ask for, and you can spend hours on end shopping and people watching. Parking can be a real pain at times, but you will find one eventually. Covientally located off 121 and Preston. Side note, if you are going to a movie at AMC and the mall will be closed when you leave make sure you park by Barnes and Nobles because that will be the only exit open. read more

Sort of reminds me of the mall in the The Woodlands, Texas. They have a cinema, Dave and Buster's, Cheesecake Factory, Macy's, Dillard's and Barnes and Nobles along with common stores you'll find at other malls like Forever 21, Victoria's Secret and H&M. The Nordstrom isn't as fascinating as some of the others I've been to as they don't carry nicer luxe brands. Parking isn't really a problem if you don't park near D&B and the Cheesecake Factory area as that is where everyone parks, including myself. Restaurant choices are limited, but they do have a Chic-Fil-a and the standard mall food fare inside. Outside, there is a nice Brazilian Steakhouse that comes highly recommended. If you are looking for nicer stores, try The Shops at Willow Bend down the road or if you are looking to shop 'til you drop, drive even further and go to the Dallas Galleria, about 20 minutes away. read more

I was in town for the Dallas Cowboys game, so of course I had to exhaust all shopping venues. Since I had already exhausted the Galleria, North Park Center, and Cedar Hill, I figured I would drive 25 miles from Irving to Frisco. Let me tell you, this place is massive! A 20 cinema AMC theater, Nordy's, Barnes and Noble, Macy's, Cheesecake Factory, CPK are all home to this shopping center. It's not the best ball in the DFW area, and it does not stand up to the Dallas Galleria or North Park Center, however, it is still a very nice mall with plenty of stores to satisfy most interests. Some of the stores include: Nordstrom, Dillards, Macys, Michael Kors, Free People, Vera Bradley, Arden B, Apple, Coach, Sephora, White House Black Market, J. Crew, and Banana Republic. If the mall itself does not satisfy your shopping interest, travel about 5 miles North on 121 and exit Craig Ranch Pkwy, you'll find more...Best Buy, Ross, Dickey's BBQ, Chic Fila, etc. Still not satisfied? Travel 3 miles to Stacy Rd and head East to Allen Premium Outlets. Trust me, I'm a shopaholic and I know where and how to shop. read more

I really like this mall. It is very clean, bright, and cheery. It's not that packed. I like the layout of it. It has all of your typical mall chains inside. The food court has a variety of restaurants. The same mall food except they also have cajun, Mediterranean, and Vietnamese in the food court. Stonebriar has several restaurants attached to it such as Dave & Busters, California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake factory, and a few others. There is also an AMC theatre. My husband likes to come here for the Art gallery. It's pretty nice. The kids and husband love the candy story Lolli and Pops. It's a cute little store. They have gummy bears and chocolates and all sorts of candy. The husband and the kids come for gummy bears. Yes, we drive all the way to Frisco for these damn gummy bears. I will admit they are pretty good. You can pick from a variety of flavors strawberry, lemon, orange, grape, and more. It is definitely a nice mall =) read more

OOOOOOOOOOOK so I went here to see Barney and Chica from Sprout,...... well that didn't happen cuz the line was retarded... not by long I mean that they took 15 min breaks every 30 min so it took forever. So I gave up. My son played in the little area they have and he loved it. I did not as there were WAY to many "big kids" there(kids aged 5+ should not play in there) SSOO I went to go get food....... NEVER BEEN HERE so i didnt know where to go. finally went upstairs on the escalators cuz the elevators there was a line around it and everyone had a stroller (Rules say no strollers on escalators i didnt care) Chick fil a was fast like normal.... eating was normal. Went to the bathroom and I am really upset at most malls ith the "family restroom" WHY ISNT THERE A CHANGING TABLE!!!!! I do not get this! I love going to this mall! I do always try to go during the week and during the school year though so that it's not completely PACKED with families and teenagers. They have a great selection of department stores and other stores. There is always parking around the mall. Of course it's most crowded at the food court entrance, but I always just park outside of a department store for a shorter walk. The mall is always clean and well kept as well. read more

This mall is pretty awesome. The stores are nice and it's clean. My only complaint is the kiosk people who are super aggressive and don't want to take no for an answer. If you don't make contact and keep walking, some will stop their pursuit. Although, I had on guy try to grab onto me. Not cool. These kiosks are spaced every so often. And there seems to be so many of them. I fee they shouldn't be allowed to be so aggressive. Other than having to avoid these people it's a great place to shop. read more

Now, they will be opening an H&M very soon, so that will definitely boost it's "property value". I've discovered this mall since I've been working in the area and I really like Stone Briar. Now don't get me wrong, you'll be hard pressed to find a parking spot in the front where the cheesecake Factory and the movie theater is but I almost always park by JC Penny where I can get premium parking and don't have to worry about to much car traffic. Highlights of this mall for me are of course the theater, cheesecake factory , Steve Madden store , Aldo, and any mall with a Cinnabon gets an automatic thumbs up in my opinion. Honestly, I'm not a "fan" of any mall. They're almost always packed with teenagers, rude people, and kiosk operators who try to kidnap you. Stonebriar is no exception to any of those things. The past two times I was here, I was run into by teenagers running down the walkways, I was hit by a purse or diaper bag or stroller or arm (two times ago, I was hit in the face) belonging to people who have no respect for others. Attention humans: malls are busy, crowded places. Please don't stop your group of 8 in the middle of a busy thoroughfare and clog traffic. You will inevitably smack someone politely trying to get around you and your horde. What was I saying? Oh yeah. Despite the usual mall crap, this is decent mall. They have the shops that I need/want, including delicious ass bourbon chicken at Big Easy in the food court. They have your higher end stores and your basic stores. Parking can seriously suck on a weekend, but again. It's a mall. I always forget where crap is, but even with that, I usually prefer Stonebriar to the Galleria. read more

I could have sworn I reviewed Stonebriar already...but anyway, here we go again. I enjoy coming to Stonebriar, it's my neighborhood mall and has everything I need. They've got great restaurants including Dave and Busters, CPK, and The Cheesecake Factory. But I'm not too big of a fan of the food court. I only like the Chick Fil-A and Panda Express. As some of the previous reviewers have stated, it does get overly crowded with teenagers on the weekends. But isn't that any mall in suburban America? I usually park outside of Macy's or another anchor store and avoid that front area by The Cheesecake Factory, because you need a lot of luck to be able to find parking up there. That also includes the covered parking downstairs. When my daughter was younger, she used to love the carousel and the play area. The rink was nice to look at, but I believe it's closed down now to make room for more shops. Good idea, because I rarely saw it being used. Not enough to take up that much space. I've never had a problem here or a reason to go to any other mall. I don't think I've been to any mall other than this one or Willow Bend in the past 2 years. read more
