Really cool shop in McKinney Square! They have all sorts of unique items inspired from all over the world. It's the kind of shop where you can spend a decent amount of time perusing and not get bored. I had to stop myself from buying everything. It's also really kid-friendly. They have a dedicated section for kids with lots of great books and toys. I have to say they have really good taste in everything they've picked and how they've designed everything in the store. Great shop to walk into and be surprised by products they have for sell. I personally was fascinated by the roll on bracelets! These bracelets are beautiful and amazing. No matter the size of your hands they will roll over your hand to the wrist. At 5$ a piece it's worth finding the colors you like. Such fun! I bought 6 of these roll-on bracelets. Worth every penny! They have an area dedicated to children only. That's awesome. This visit I only saw adults. This is one of the most unique stores in Historic McKinney. They carry handmade, Fair Trade items from over 40 countries around the world. Every Item in the store benefits artisans directly. I find this respectful and liberating! Fair Trade decreases individuals dependency on aid in a dignified and long-lasting way. Shops like this help end cycles of poverty not only for families, often entire communities. It gives developing regions a respectful alternative that often preserves cultural crafts and traditions. This type of shop is a win-win for all. I love the concept of this cute little store in downtown McKinney. My boys and I stop here every time we visit downtown McKinney. There are so many things to see in this store. It's the perfect store for one of a kind, handmade items to gift to family and friends. I love that it is locally owned and that they carry a wide range of items that are made by people all over the world! The best thing about it is that they work only with businesses that have fair trade agreements. It's nice to be able to purchase an item and know that the person who made it was fairly compensated for their efforts. This store was such an awesome surprise! I found it after having coffee across the street and read that the store is completely fair trade. I asked my husband if he wouldn't mind going in there with me and we both were so impressed. My husband and I just returned from China to visit family where labor laws and working conditions are real life issues in the lives of our friends and family. There is such great peace of mind that comes with shopping here! The selection is excellent. The product range includes thins like jewelry, clothes, toys, home decor, and even chocolate! Absolutely one of the best brick and mortar ethically sourced shops I've ever visited. The staff is exceptionally knowledgable and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is vast. If you are within an hour drive it would be worth the visit! We drove about 45 minutes and it was well worth the trip. Also the little town the shop is located in is SO cute. read more

This is my favorite place to shop for birthday and Christmas gifts, and I love picking up jewelry for myself. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, and it feels so good knowing that my purchase is benefiting someone less fortunate in another part of the world. I also have some staple items from Fair and Square that I purchase on a regular basis, including their fair trade coffee, chocolate, tea, and brownie mix.
