Not too large of a cafe but large in parking, located in a strip mall. Wait time can be long at times since it's not too large and they close at 3PM! I ordered the steak tip Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was a little too much which made the whole dish salty but the food overall is good, especially grilled English muffins and the side potatoes! The food is overpriced for what you get. It's just ok. Nothing great. I definitely don't look forward to going there, but my boyfriend likes it and it is close by. So this morning we place an order and go there a half hour later and they don't even have the order. They don't offer one of the meals for free for the inconvenience or anything for a future visit. Restauranting 101. Make up for your mistakes. Then we get home and my eggs are overcooked and the bacon is so over cooked I can't even chew it. My boyfriend will be going alone from now on. This is usually my back up last resort breakfast place when jj's cafe or farmers daughter has too long of a wait. They don't have bad food, it's just not great and lacks flavor. Today I ordered the potato skin hash breakfast, and it came burnt, I was in a rush so I didn't complain to them. But I could taste the burnt flavor that whole time I was eating the meal. If Newcombs & Obs Cafe in Quincy merged, It'd be the Stonebridge Cafe. I've been here twice, and it's a gem. It's a decent size, and the service is really great. It's pretty packed even on a weekday, I waited 10 minutes for a table last time with my boyfriend. The first time, I went was with my mother, and I decided to try breakfast. I got the Stonebridge Skillet. It was delicious, and filling. It was packed with eggs, homefries, bacon, ham, sauce, onions, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, and topped with melted cheese. I knew I had to come back to try more after leaving! The second time, I came with my boyfriend. I got the BLT, and it was the classic BLT. It did include anything unnecessary, and I finished the whole thing. It also came with a side of fries, that were good too. I'd return. read more

Went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and was greeted with a wait time of 25 minutes. However I assure you the food is worth the wait. I ordered the Mexican omelette and was served more food than I could ever eat in one sitting! The omelette was great,but the homefries are TO DIE FOR! Even the toast was good. I had no complaints. Change of mind, I've been a huge fan for a long time but today and this is the second time I ordered a Cesar salad and it came drenched in dressing. Pools of dressing in the container even the croutons were soggy. I e-mailed the info email address but it bounced back. Stonebridge Cafe makes an absolutely fantastic breakfast, including some of the world's truly great home fries. All of which does me very little good if they abruptly enact "summer hours" entailing an earlier closing time and then neglect to update any of their web listings. I'm truly sorry it's asking too much of your employees to stay all the way til 3 in the bloody afternoon in the summer. I myself leave early for my own work, which only BEGINS at 3pm, so that I can treat myself to an occasional breakfast at Stonebridge, but apparently this is asking too much. Presently as I write this I am sitting, heartbroken, in the parking lot looking at the closed restaurant and wondering why I bothered trying to come here and patronize this inconsiderate place. I hope everyone takes note of the fact that Stonebridge regards being open during their posted hours as an inconvenience. Clearly the act of having people come in and spend money is unappealing to them, so we should all take our dollars down the road because Stonebridge doesn't want your business. I ordered a simple egg salad sandwich. That was their "special" for the day. I got my orange juice and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited for over 25 minutes for server to say no more egg salad. The kitchen was so ridiculously backed up and nonfood was coming out of the kitchen for the patrons but bags of take-out orders were coming out. WTF?!! I did not order anything else. My wife gets her low carb skillet breakfast order another 5 minutes later. The food is nothing special and certainly not worth the wait. Look for other options. I gave this an extra star because the server tried her best to salvage the shitty situation but I was still charged for an orange juice. Oh well. read more

It's an okay diner, serving the regular diner staple of omelette, scramble, eggs any style with pancakes, bacon, sausage, and whatever your heart desires. I was in the area and was hungry. Yelp n this place's rave reviews by fellow Yelpers steer me across the street to Stonebridge. I had the veggie three egg white scrambler with home fries. I thought theirs will be homemade and being a celiac, that is mostly what I can eat. To be fair, I did not specify to the waitress that I can't eat gluten. When my plate came n I saw the home fries, I was skeptical. They are fried potatoes, seasoned n coated with flour. Upon confirming it with the guy behind the counter ( I think he is the owner) that the fries were bought n came pre-seasoned and coated with flour, he offered me a cup of fruit and a new plate to dish out my scrambler from the contaminated plate. Well, I should have mentioned that to my server. My bad. Still can't fathom the idea of a 4-star rated diner will use pre-made home fries instead of making their own from scratch. Kudos to them for using non high fructose corn syrup ketchup. Yeah, I have corn allergy too. service is awesome, I can see how I will return if I am in the area. The place is nice n clean. Note to self: mention all your food allergies to servers. Just don't assume all egg white veggie scrambler and home fries are safe food. read more

Tried this place for the first time and was heavily disappointed. I got a "hashlet" omelette (an omelette filled with cheese and corned beef hash), and the hash itself seemed to be the exact same stuff you buy at the grocery store. The potatoes were cut into those same little cubes and it had that mushy/fatty texture that the canned stuff has. Same taste as well. I'm also convinced that this place uses the exact same thing for their home fries that Taco Bell uses for cheesy fiesta potatoes, as they tasted exactly the same. Another complaint is that I was charged 2.79 for one cup of unsweetened iced tea, obviously bought premade. I'm not saying the food was gross, just obviously cheaply made and not what you would expect from a diner, especially from one so popular. Other than that, service was lightning quick, and the food came out in about 6 minutes (I bet I know why). Can't recommend this place, try somewhere else and save yourself the hassle. read more

If you come on the weekend at the wrong time be prepared for a wait as the everyone from all of the neighboring towns gather outside waiting for the chance to get in. The most affordable restaurant I have been too and no matter if it is breakfast or lunch some of the best food PERIOD! Amazing Pancakes, Delicious Home fries, Massive Burgers, OUT of this world Steak Tips and Truly Impressive Fried Chicken Sandwich! Now, my first time back left much to be desired but I figured I'd visit a couple more times before I write a review. The food is decent. The prices are great! The service is what really turned me off and for such a small cafe I don't understand why it's an issue here. On our first visit, the waitress never came back to refill drinks, delivered a meal disregarding a food allergy we had told her about, and had a rude attitude to boot! Our last two visits followed suit with blatant inattentive waiters and incorrect/forgotten orders. The last time I visited here was a few years ago before the renovations. I agree with other yelpers that it is less homey and has less seating but I have to admit that I love the booths. I always have my very busy toddler with me and without a booth/containment unit, eating out can be very unpleasant. We got here around 10:00 and had a 5 minute wait, not bad. The place was full and our waiter came over within 2 minutes of us being seated to offer coffee. The menu always overwhelms me. Fortunately it hasn't changed. They offer breakfast and lunch. Both are always really good. I can never decide between the omelette, french toast or belgium waffle. I decided to be a fatass and order the waffle for myself, side of homefries and fruit cup for the little man. My friend ordered the veggie scrambler. I tried not to look as I almost always have food jealousy. I did anyway and it looked super yummy. My waffle was fatalicious, homefries were a ginormous portion (no I didn't supersize) and fruitcup just eh (needed more grapes, only 1? and less pineapple, almost all). I have to say that $3.45 for a small cup of pineapple, 1 slice of orange, and a grape is a little overpriced compared to the rest of the menu. I walked out feeling guilty and 2 lbs fatter, will skip lunch.....Still 16 years later, a great place to eat. read more

I went here on a random weekday morning. I can't imagine how busy it would get on a weekend, but it was pretty full! We waited a few minutes for a booth. The wait staff was quick and friendly. We ordered a kids omelet for a child in our group, but it was pretty BIG! An omelet and toast and homefries. She couldn't finish it at all! I got the Build-Your-Own Benedict eggs. It was incredible. Three perfectly cooked eggs Benedict on top of a couple of English muffins and bacon, topped with a creamy, delicious Hollandaise sauce. I can honestly say that I have never had a better eggs Benedict before in Boston. The prices: incredible. The food: Amazing. I live an hour away, but I will be back soon! read more

They started off on a bad foot, got ignored in the front must be cause I'm from New York and look like New York, but I love the Red Sox and patriots. Anywho the service was okay could be tweaked. Favorite breakfast place, home fries are delicious crisp cubes. Vegetable omelette burst open packed with broccoli, tomatoes, etc. Your choice of jelly for toast, and endless refills of coffee. Went here for breakfast a couple days ago. We had a party of 6 and were seated in a timely fashion. The waitress came over to the table to confirm we had more people coming. She didn't offer us coffee or water, but I attributed that to her being busy. When the rest of the party got there, we ordered and received our food pretty quickly. I enjoyed my food. One member of our party got burnt toast and eggs, which she was none to happy about. We could've fixed the problem, but the waitress never came back to check on us. Excellent breakfast and service. Right on the Easton Brockton line and right off exit on Rt. 24. Cute little place. Interior was clean and looked fairly new. Wait staff were full of smiles and very attentive. Our particular waitresses and my apologies I can't remember her name, was non-stop didn't miss a beat. I ordered the New England Breakfast with the pancakes two eggs over medium that were cooked perfectly to order, bacon and sausage links. Coffee was very good too and clean tasting, not bitter. She had veggie omelette and loved it, Its big too and was stuffed full of veggies. Home fried potatoes were excellent I thought she felt to spicy. I will definitely be back to the Stonebridge cafe soon. They have a saying there that 'it's never to early for lunch and never to late for breakfast ' I love that !
