I moved from Indiana to Az about 3 yrs ago and I just love love Stonebridge Ranch. The amenities are great. I love the landscaping. The club house is so comforting and inviting. I love to go and just relax by the fireplace and enjoy a starbucks coffee that they provide with a Varity of creamers I might add. I really enjoy the resort type décor. The staff is very warm and friendly. My family really enjoy the fun activities management puts together to make our complex a fun and exciting place to live. I would recommend Stonebridge to anyone looking for a fun and beautiful complex. They are also pet friendly. I haven't had any issue with my Sadie girl. I rented from Stonebridge Ranch for three years. During my time there, the maintenance team damaged my personal property during a broken pipe incident. The Leasing office gave a vendor a key to my apartment one week prior to me vacating the unit without notifying me. This strange man attempted to access my home. When I called the Leasing office to ask about it I was told oops sorry we thought you'd already moved out. Now, I've contacted them no less than 7 times via email to find out why my deposit had not been refunded. By law they have 14 days to refund my deposit and are required by law to give me 48 hours notice before accessing my home. When I have spoken to the Assistant Manager Rosaura she gives me one excuse after another about where my check is. Additionally, the Manager Lori refuses to speak to me. I've rented apartments in three states and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had! read more

We lived at stonebridge for 3 yrs during those 3 yrs our apartment had flooded in 3 different occasions due to the upstairs neighbor clogging up the pipes cause damage to our carpet and kitchen tile Everytime requiring maintenance to come fix the carpet by stapling it back to the floor each time after a while the carpet is bound to look bad and for the tile all the water damages caused the tile to get damaged but no when we move out stonebridge takes our full deposit. We have a pet, we paid the pet deposit and insurance but that's not enough when we move out they keep the pet deposit and charge up more money due to them having to pet condition the apartment so they kept almost 2k of our money. Note: I am a doctoral candidate in the medical field and understand and practice sanitary living conditions. I have never had cockroaches or mold in any of my previous residences. Additionally, images were sent to the apartment complex upon move-in and nothing was done. I put in a work order online to have the temperature turned up on my water heater and maintenance was here withen an hour. they also explained to me that they couldn't turn the water heater temperature up any higher due to safety and liability concerns. honestly I really appreciate that they care about our safety . here's to a great move in experience and to a happy future at Stonebridge read more

I toured this property on Friday and it was SO pretty. It felt so homey, and I absolutely loved the yoga room by the pool. There is grass all throughout the property which was a huge plus. Definitely would recommend checking this place out! read more

Great if you're over 70, live alone, and don't need the internet. YOU CANNOT WORK FROM HOME HERE. They only work with centurylink (which was recently acquired) and they only offer an 80mbps package for the max speed at this location. What is this, 2005? Good luck getting a hold of anyone at the office. They are extremely understaffed, and the only way to get them to answer the phone is to call 30+ times so they can't take new resident calls and can no longer avoid you. The leasing staff is clueless when you do reach them and not only showed me the wrong apartments, but made mistakes on the availability of all said apartments. Either pure ignorance or a scam to get people in the door and then reveal only different apartments are available. Either way, not a good look. They also have massive construction plans during this summer which will be sure to cause a lot of noise and chaos (they are supposedly installing cox lines to be ready by EOY). Not to mention the construction that is sure to happen in the giant field next door at some point in the next year. Lori also refused to have my administration fee returned to the apartment complex office for pickup, as having to change plans last minute caused me to not have a home to have the check sent to. She and the staff have been extremely unhelpful. She laughed at me multiple times on the phone while I explained my stressful situation, as though she has no empathy towards future residents and she is clearly not a good fit to be in a leadership position. Every time we spoke she sounded exhausted and sick of work. While I know she was just brought over from another management company, I can't imagine she will last long. read more

This outpaces raises (like people are getting those right now) and they say "Market rent" is higher. Moved in here paying $1475 and have been here 2 years and they just told me my rent is $1875 PLUS TAX! Making it $1950! Management here does NOT value long term people living here and they certainly don't care about the people that live here. Corporate greed has taken over management here. DO NOT BE FOOLED. I have lived here for 3 years and will give you a rundown on why you should not live here: 1. While the property looks nice, it is not in a good neighborhood. We have had our vehicle stolen, a burglary, and our car tire knifed. The property has no cameras and the staff did not communicate reported crimes to other residents. 2. The rent increased every renewal sometimes near $100/mo. It is also extremely high for the area. 3. Upon our first move-out we were charged hundreds of dollars of our deposit for carpet cleaning, room cleaning, and painting even though it was not necessary. After moving out of a second unit we were again charged a hundred dollars for carpet cleaning despite it not coming up in the walk through. Just know your deposit is forfeit going in and take photos of every nook and cranny upon move-in. 4. The trees on the property are not well maintained and every storm the branches and trees come falling down. Beware of parking your car under any of the trees. 5. The property is dog friendly, which unfortunately means all of the common areas are littered with dog feces. The management occasionally sends out emails asking people to pick it up. 6. The staff preoccupies itself with throwing pizza, wine, holiday, food truck, and other themed mixers rather than doing anything useful. Karina is the only useful one in the office, try and work with her if you need anything done or want a tour. 7. The property has a mosquito issue around its pool. If you want to use your patio, I would not recommend any of the properties surrounding the pool areas. 8. The first-floor patios are constantly filthy because the maintenance staff and landscape contractors use leaf blowers and blast all the leaf litter onto your patio. Make sure to purchase a leaf blower to push it back into the rocks. 9. The package situation is a nightmare. They installed lockers which are somewhat useful, but it comes at the expense of the office refusing to accept packages. During the holiday season this leads to frustrated delivery drivers and a lot of missed deliveries/missing packages especially for over sized ones. 10. They removed all recycling dumpsters from the property. 11. The apartment is located on the south side of Pecos Rd. which by an unfortunate twist is the Arizona 5th Congressional District line. That means Andy Biggs is sadly your rep. 12. The apartments themselves have many drawbacks as well. Our unit had poor insulation which led to huge swings in temperatures. We had to buy separate fans and heaters for our nursery since some rooms would be +/- 7 degrees off the thermostat temperature. Small diameter pipes lead to long wait times to get hot water in some of the bathrooms. Also, the company measures water consumption with super annoying devices outside that click extremely loud the entire time water is being used (e.g. toilet flush, shower, laundry). We stayed about 3 years due to the physical location being the best for my family, but the above-mentioned drawbacks made it worthwhile to move away and have longer commutes. From the moment I walked in and got a tour from Kaitlyn, I knew I was home. She was honest and very helpful. Alanna probably dealt with most of my questions and concerns and she is always attentive without hesitation. Karina, Jennifer, Pamela and the maintenance guy are all helpful and friendly. The area is clean, newly renovated, very well kept. Washer and dryer and patio in every apartment. Vinyl floors-wood designed, an awesome upgrade!Appliances like dishwasher, fridge, microwave, stove, all included with stainless steel. And heating and A/C. 2 pools and a gym with 24 hour access too. Everything is well kept and looked just like the model apartments. I got the second to the smallest size and its big enough for me and I love it! The property is nice, but customer service is terrible once you are actually a resident. The package delivery system with Parcel Pending is a complete disaster. And it is something that not only was forced upon as residents, it is something we have to pay for. We've had 5 packages go missing only for them to turn out that they were actually in the lockers. There's no point calling the company you ordered from (say Amazon), because when they redeliver, the new packages will go missing anyway. Parcel Pending says the solution is to open up the lockers and look for the package. I've been waiting for Stonebridge employees to do this for 4 days. All but one employee has not been helpful, and Pamela the manager is the WORST of all of them. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't rent here. There are lots of nice apartment communities in Chandler to choose from. Other complaints - Parking spaces are way too small, made smaller by poles that jut out. Kitchen storage is extremely limited. The washer and dryer are super loud when they are being operated. These appliances must have been from the 80s. The bedrooms are so small, you can barely fit a queen sized bed. My husband and I are under contract to buy a house and we can't wait to get out of this place. Rent is due the first every month, but you don't get your bill until a day or 2 before the month, so you don't know how much you owe (with the fees). Furthermore, Stonebridge schedules these random inspections with 2-3 days notice (like fire extinguisher inspection and patio/balcony inspection), and if you're not available on the day THEY designate you are assessed a fee. What happens if you happen to be traveling? (You would have to at least take some time to sort out whatever fee they assess you. Patios are nice though, if you get a decent view and have neighbors that don't smoke. Ours doesn't get a nice view, and there's a lot of traffic noise from Pecos so it's pretty much useless. Worse, our upstairs neighbors smoke and party quite a bit so we keep finding cigarette butts and empty beer cans that they drop into our patio. So our patio is completely worthless, we can't even open our windows/patio door in nice weather due to the nasty cigarette smell. Yes, we realize this is apartment living, so we had to suck it up. Finally, after our lease ENDED per our agreement, Stonebridge charged $140 lease termination fee (+ cleaning fee). WTF. We had paid for deep cleaning to the place and left it in much better shape than what we had found and we did not end our lease early. read more

After many tours of other properties, Stonebridge Ranch stood out by far. Close to the 202 and still surprisingly quiet. I think because it sits next to an empty green field. We certainly were blessed to be placed in the unit overlooking the green field and amazing sunrise in the morning. Both leasing staff and maintenance crew do an excellent job. The property is immaculate and they take good care of their tenants. Yes, I am bragging but it is true, staying at Stonebridge is like staying on a resort. I see the staff working hard everyday to make sure the community we live in is in order. It's going to be hard to ever move out of this place. read more

These scam artists Greystar and the people that they have working for them are worse than a used car salesmen. Alana is the most ghetto unprofessional person that I've come across and unable to resolve conflict but I guess that's not part of your job description. I go in to sign my lease and Alana and her coworker where rushing around to try and get my lease together and I should have payed attention to the signs that were around me, with two tenants turning in keys to get up out of this place... maybe it's the black mold that keeps popping up in the the toilets there or in your bedroom window seal regardless how many times you bleach,spray, and paint over it! For them to go over every addendum in the lease with me but not go over a rent increase is beyond me and then try to insult me by saying, "Oh you didn't read your lease before you signed, well it's a legal document and binding so I don't have to talk to you!" And hang up in my face. This is what this lady ( and that's a stretch ) Alana did! This is what represents Greystar Stonebridge Ranch I moved in and felt like wow this company got it right! But now I see that you are not employing people that are detailed oriented or can resolve issues. Oh no I guess that was her way of so called handling the problem!? No, no and no! You need customer service class 101 immediately and I hope no one ever goes through this disrespect and distasteful experience that I have gone through a tenant who has been a resident with these apartments for years and I get treated like this! To have to my coworkers coming up to me asking me what's wrong because I feel like the place I call home is not a home and that I've been scammed! I would think twice if there was a thought of coming to live here, where they don't hold the tenants with pets accountable for there pets using all the grass areas as a liter box so you can't even enjoy sitting a blanket out and reading a book, where they have done nothing about this infestation of stray cats this is just sad and I hate that I put my trust in a place that's ran by scam artist and disrespectful people! read more

After several years of living here, I felt compelled to give an update. I still have no complaints regarding maintenance, the grounds etc. However, my opinion stems from the company as a whole. I find it quite sad that we are looked at as dollar signs and not individual people. I truly miss when rentals were owned by private landlords instead of large companies where they valued good tenants. In 3 years of living here, our rent has been on time every month, we have no complaints from neighbors and live a generally quiet life without disturbing those around us, yet every year the rent is increased and not just by $10 or $15 but we were given a $90 increase. That is over 1k a year. So my income did not go up but my rent does. It looks like it will be time to finally look into home ownership because it is hard to be valued as an apartment renter here. Also, I dont want to hear "it's market value, it's not us" because again, it comes down to dollar signs. Good landlords value good tenants but companies would rather have whoever is willing to pay the highest price. read more

Worse place ever, I have been having problems with my neighbors being too noisey and they refuse to do anything about it. In your lease agreement it states if there is a noise disturbance they will take care of it, well they don't, in fact they tell you they will handle it and never take care of it. I can't say enough good things about living here. I visited SBR 8 months before my move date and they helped me from afar to get the perfect apartment for me. I have never seen a cockroach, scorpion or any other bugs. They have a bug sprayer come out all the time to spray the property. The landscaping is always beautifully kept and I feel like I live at a resort every day. Maintenance is very prompt with work orders. They are great about letting us know in advance about water shut offs, parking lot resurfacing and entering the apartment to change our smoke detector batteries, fire extinguishers and air filters. Very proactive on keeping SBR beautiful. The amenities are clean and updated. Very quiet! Monthly family events are great. I've lived here almost 2 years. When I first walked into the office, I immediately felt at home with the welcoming staff. I planned my move for approximately 2 months prior to moving in. Karina was extremely friendly and professional when giving me a tour around the property,and paid very close attention to details to what I was looking for in an apartment. We have lived here 3 years and have had our ups and downs. Stonebridge Ranch started out as a great place but has gone to shit since the management change. When John was on the property things went great and if there were any issues they were handled fairly. Since the was promoted we have had nothing but issues with the front office staff and they are extremely rude. We have received notices about our dogs barking despite the fact that they have bark collars and this is a pet friendly community ( it's in the lease that you just need to show you are doing everything you can to keep them reasonable.). Speaking of reasonable, we have worked with others to test it and the only time they bark is if someone is at the door or they hear another dog bark and it doesn't last long. We have had neighbors leave harassing notes (which cause barking because they are at the door) and the office would not do anything about it. We had an issue where they told us the wrong amount for rent. We called to verify because we thought something was wrong and we were assured it was right. Two weeks later they wanted the difference and late fees which are $25 a day. We offered to pay the difference but fought the late fees which would have totaled $350 due to the fact that we called to verify the amount and the error was on their end. They finally agreed not to bill us after 2 days of arguing. It should not have taken this much since it was their error and we even double checked it with them. I work until 12a-1a so I don't get to bed until late. The landscaping starts as early as 7a. The landscapers are inconsiderate and do things like bang on the windows. I have called and reported it and the office refuses to do anything. I have requested they start at a different part of the property since they are so inconsiderate and have been told no. This apartment complex that I once loved and recommended to everyone I now hate and tell everyone to stay far away. read more

Also, the service department is horrible. It takes weeks to get anything repaired. I really loved living at this apartment complex. I lived here just short of 3 years (we broke the lease to transfer to a community that was closer to our jobs but I hated the new complex). They were really great and easy with us breaking the lease. We lived on the 2nd story and never had any issues, ever. Once our dishwasher had some issues but they came and fixed it immediately. I loved the front office staff, they were always really friendly and easy going. I lived there from January 2013 until September 2015, and the staff was changing towards the end. I didn't have any issues with the new stuff but I really do miss this place. I would move back in an instant. They were updating a lot of the units when we left too, and for the price- it's a great deal. It's a great location near downtown Chandler but in a little field area so you have a lot of neighborhood privacy. The area is fantastic and this complex was so good to us. read more

Do Not move here. Management is horrible. They will actually jump over your back porch to see what is happening behind, then deny they ever did. We actually set a "trap" that they could only find if they came ONTO our patio which means they had to jump over the wall. The complex has a REALLY bad tick problem. I lived in Indiana for three years and NEVER had a problem with ticks. I have to give my dogs frontline every 2 weeks, do a tick dip every two weeks, and use special shampoo, carpet "bomb" my house, AND spray tick repellent all over the house. We keep them cut short and EVERY night I have two -three ticks on them. The apartment complex management says "it must be a single incident"... BULLSH*T. I see ticks crawling all over the sidewalk outside the apartment. We cannot WAIT to get out of here. They raise the rates every year and won't tell you the new rate until 30-60 days before your lease is up that way it is harder for you to find a place to live and they lock you into the price raise. In the office, if you have something delivered to your apartment, do NOT let the office take it. TWICE they gave away my boxes to another person AND they gave ME another person's crate and barrell christmas present!! They just sign for the package, stick it in a room , then you go there tell them your apartment #, YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO GIVE THEM YOUR FED EX/ UPS TICKET, and they give it to you. During Xmas time it would be SOO easy for someone to go around, collect tickets, and go get the items from the office. No sign out sheet or anything. RIDICULOUS!! I haven't had any problems with the neighbors, they all keep to themselves, and no one really parties, but the way this place is run is absolutely horrible. They put a bunch of fun "decorations" up in their model apartments and hang orange cloths at their pool to make it look luxurious, but its all a facade. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE! read more

Beautiful Apartments inside and out!! I feel at home, it is so spacious! There are plenty of generously lit walking paths that are kept fully stocked with doggy mess bags and trash cans along the way. The grounds are spectacular, the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. And the best part, they allow big dogs!! We had no problems with my 125 pound St. Bernard mix!! The staff is so pet friendly, they always keep treats stocked in guest services and love doting on your fur babies!! We've had a couple hiccups with appliances but they were right on top of my work orders and they were fixed in no time. Everyone has been very friendly walking dogs or in the fenced in dog park. Since last year when I wrote my very first review about Stonebridge it has gotten even better!!! I was able to move into one of the renovated apartments and I love it. My old apartment was great but now with all of the new appliances, fixtures and granite I feel like I am living large but not breaking the bank. I got an even bigger apartment on the 3rd floor with a great pool view. I have referred some of my friends and co-workers to live here and they love it so far. There is a real good vibe for relaxing by the pool and just hanging with my girlfriends. Next month they are having a volleyball tournament with FREE rent giveaways. I lived at Stonebridge Ranch from June of 2004 until September of 2010, so I would say that my opinion is relatively well formed. Let me first touch upon the positives. The apartments are fairly nice, nothing spectacular, but above average. The maintenance is prompt in the case of an emergeny (i.e. my A/C went out in the middle of the summer, and they were there within hours and fixed the problem). They have a good pool, dogpark, and keep the place well kept. Here are the negative(s)... They do no honor their commitments. Specifically, my sister was moving cross-country and I went through a fairly extensive process for them to allow her dog to stay at my place (i.e. vet records, proof of breed, etc). They said that it would not be a problem for her dog to stay (provided the pet deposit, etc). Then, when she arrived at my place, they VISUALLY examined the dog, only to say that it "looks too much like a pit bull". The dog is a boxer mix, and we had the paperwork to prove it. This caused serious problems for my sister as she had to leave immediately and find a new place to stay for the next few months. Understand that if they would have said "no" from the beginning, I would have no problem, but they didn't, they went back on what they had promised. The more negative issue is this. After living there for over six years and never having been late on rent (over $60,000 I might add), when I moved out, I was told that we most likely would not get "dinged" for minor wear and tear that happens over the course of living on CHEAP carpet for 6 years (it's meant to be replaced every year or two). I once again foolishly took them at their word, only to find out last month, that there is now a collection on my credit report for $257. This was unacceptable in my eyes. Here is the kicker, I had a friend move out about 3 years earlier, and she told me that they did the same thing to her... no notice, no letter, just a collection account on her credit report. I called and spoke with the property manager, Jeanette, and the said that she would speak with the collection agency to which my account was referred. When I called her back (I had to call her back, she did not call me back as she said that she would), she said that they told her that they sent me a notice as well, but that it was returned to sender. I had given them my forwarding address. Then she said that their next method of correspondence is to send the mail to my former address, which was also returned. Also ridiculous, as I have had my mail forwarded effective a week before I moved out. She continued to tell me that there was nothing that she could do to help me. In reality, she could have told them that they made a mistake and it would have been removed. This whole scenario left a bad taste in my mouth for Stonebridge. A tenant lives at a residence for over 6 years, is NEVER late with rent, and is sent to collections for a mere $257! I am now in the process of fighting this with the collection agency, and lodging a complaint with the BBB. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad place to live... it's just the politics that bring down the perception of the establishment.
