We just had a brand new pool and spa built by Stonecreek Pools and Spas. After meeting with 4 different pool builders at the end of last summer, we decided to go with Stonecreek because 2 of the 4 didn't even send us a quote after taking measurements so it was between them and another builder and we got a good feeling from Jim's hands on approach and professionalism. We designed the pool with him adding what we wanted and listening to his expert input, such as making the spa 7x7 instead of the common 6x6 and boy are we loving our huge spa right now! The whole process took 3 months, which was a month longer than the estimated 2 months but things are a bit slow due to the pandemic. For instance, gunite production can't keep up with the demand. After we designed the pool and signed the contract, Joel took over the construction. He was very patient with me and all my questions and changes and was always a text or call away to discuss next steps and scheduling. We had a great experience, albeit it's a construction site and messy, but that's part of the deal when you build a pool. The result is absolutely stunning! We LOVE everything about our pool/spa and it has all the bells and whistles to make it modern, timeless and truly amazing. Salt water, pebble surface, two loveseats, and everything is controlled on the Pentair app on our phones. They also handled the concrete around the pool and beyond and it was very well done. It's such a sleek pool that our new neighbors in the back are basically copying our pool, they admitted. We are very happy customers and absolutely recommend Stonecreek Pools and Spas. read more

1st I'll start by saying our pool looks great, and I'm happy with how it turned out. BUT Joel was not hlepful at all. WE called SEVERAL Times and talked to Jim and Joel about returning phone calls and it never got better. We broke ground on July 1st project was not finished till after Nov 1st. and to be honest we had to to some of the finishing work. They installed the fence around the AC units never painted or treated them, some of the equipment is already leaking we have called and guess what... no response per usual. We went with this company from a recommendation from some good friends. Next time we will shop around a little more. Pretty dissapointed in the customer service. I could say more but ill leave it at that. read more

We just got our final city inspection sign off for our pool & spa by Stonecreek Pools. We had demolition, excavation and pool/spa build and we are thrilled. Last year we decided to have our pool and attached spa resurfaced with a mini-pebble surface. We chose Stonecreek Pools and Spas Inc to do the work. After the old plaster was removed from the pool and spa with a jackhammer, the new mini-pebble surface was incorrectly applied in the spa, which called for the spa to be re-jackhammered two days later. A second attempt was made to correctly apply the a new mini-pebble surface. This too failed. Now the spa portion of our project had to be jackhammered for a third time. Finally, an expert finisher was called in a week later to make sure the new mini-pebble surface was applied correctly. The completed, attached pool portion of our project sat filled with water with no circulation as we waited to have the spa correctly done. The various crews from the pool company and its sub-contracted plastering company were careless in covering the surrounding pool deck. As a result, when the job was finally completed and the clean-up crew came in, they could not clean the surface slop-over because it had dried to the surface. To remedy this, the clean-up crew applied some sort of acidic liquid to the surface. This discolored portions of the surface of the surrounding pool deck. The additional jackhammering caused chips in the coping around the spa and created hairline cracks in the concrete. The company was paid in full simply to get them off our property. Despite being paid in full, the sub-contracted plaster company sent us a threat to lien on our property, because they had not been paid by Stonecreek in the timely manner of their contract. read more

We had Jim come out to give us a quote on a new construction pool. The moment he stepped onto our property he had a chip on his shoulder...so much so, that he continually interrupted us when speaking and was so rude that my husband finally told him to leave...he seemed to just want to build a cookie-cutter pool and had no imagination. I would not recommend this company...if he was this way during a 10 minute visit...imagine what a nightmare the construction job would be! read more

We are so pleased that we went with Stone Creek Pools for our pool/spa and landscaping. Initially, We spoke with a number of "big" companies in the Valley and found them to be less than enthused based upon their promises to give us a quote/plan within a couple of weeks. When I called Stone Creek, Jim jumped on getting a design and quote back quickly and set up a meeting to go over everything. The company is very professional which gave us added confidence. I was given the name of Stonecreek Pools from a friend whose brother was having a new pool put in. I only needed to re-plaster mine so I thought I would give them a call. Joel answered my call and we set up a date to meet. He came by measured and gave me options and cost. The numbers were definitely lower than what I had gotten locally. A little miscommunication with the start date but everything worked out. Joel met my wife and I at the tile store and after seeing options and seeing the finish for the pebble surface we went from plaster to a pebble finish. Once the work started everything pretty much went on schedule and when it was completed we were very happy with the finish and with Joel and Stonecreek Pools. This company came out to my home to give me a quote on a new construction pool. Within the first 5 minutes of describing what I wanted the pool and spa to look like, the sales guy interrupted me and asked me what my budget is? I told him $35k. (Note: This company did my neighbor's pool for $40k a few years ago and his pool is larger than what I was proposing) The sales guy told me I was completely unrealistic on price, what I was describing is a 40k to 50k or 60k pool! I wasn't even done with the basic design and it is considerably smaller than my neighbor's pool that was only $40k. The sales guy than asked me "how are you going to pay for this?" I told him with money. He asked me where I was getting the money? I humored him with the rest of my specs only to be met with sarcasm and a refusal to even sketch of what I was proposing because he didn't think I was going to be willing to pay him. I explained to him I had a target budget, but if I was unrealistic after reviewing several quotes I would clearly change my target. After being met with a dirty looks, I explained to him that I was going to get a few bids and go with the one that I thought gave me everything I wanted at the best price. At that point, the sales guy put his sunglasses on and told me he will email me. I have never experienced anyone trying to work for me that has insulted me and been so rude to me. Do yourself a favor and call "ANY OTHER" pool company with some basic respect for customers. read more

They renovated our existing pool, the equipment, and the entire backyard, deck and landscaping. Most of our contact with Stonecreek was ultimately with Joel and we miss him now that we are done. Our experiene with Stone Creek while we were putting in the pool was o.k. but what we experienced while they were putting in the pool next door to us was HORRIBLE. Our development requires a form be signed by neighbors. The pool contractor and homeowner are required to review their plans with you and give you a chance to ask any questions. When they came to neighbors they just asked them to sign the form that we acknowledged a pool was being put in. Well come to find out that in order to set their pool equipment they had to cut the concrete sidewalk that was a joint installation. When I asked about it I was told by Joel that what they cut was on the neighbors property. Great! So now when my husband who has issues with his mobility walks by it's narrow. Would have been nice to have a conversation about it. To top it off I have a voicemail from my neighbor telling me that they had to put it there or it would have cost her more money. That's nice too. Stone Creek has no issues putting the installation crap on my property. Caution alert when working with Stone Creek. read more
