Contractor does not stand behind warranty and is also no longer licensed. CSLB gave them 7 days to respond to warranty claim about unlicensed work. They did not. So now we pursue this in small claims. Be careful who you hire to build your pool. read more

Doesn't honor warranty! It's very sad that I need to write this review. Julio and his crew built our pool. In less than a year in we have issues. The pool was under warranty and they didn't come fix the pool. It has rust and grout is falling out. I talked, texted and met with Julio to get it fixed for 4 months. He said he would get it fixed. Then nothing. Said he had been sick also said he was having a hard time finding someone to fix it. I understand all of that but 4 MONTHS?! I have text messages to back up my timeline. At the end of those 4 months I gave him 2 weeks to get it fixed or told him I would write this review and contact the BBB. It's still not fixed. Now it will cost me money to fix should have been under warranty by Kancun. read more

We are so pleased with the results of Kancun Pools & Spas' renovation of our eighteen-year-old water feature. It had been leaking water into the ground to such a point that our auto fill valve was constantly running. The concrete around most of the boulders had contracted so much over time that you could see where the water was running out. There were also subsurface cracks on the sides and bottoms of all four of the ponds that are connected by three waterfalls. It was really in bad shape, both visually and functionally. My partner and I recently made the move to the Palm Springs area. After years of careful planning we had the bright idea to have a pool built while selling the house in L.A. And making the transition to the area. We found three different contractors to get bids from and off we started. A nice salesmen from Melos pools met us at the house to ask questions, measure and get back to us with a quote. We were impressed by his presentation and were told he would get back to us soon with three different 3d computer generated designs to chose from (he never got back to us). Julio from Kancun Pools met us the same day. With his casual but professional and friendly demeanor he asked what we would like the pool to look like and offered some great suggestions. We felt very comfortable with him and liked his straight forward approach, as a matter of fact after talking it over we decided to go with Julio without getting a third estimate to compare. As you could emagine, moving two hours away was challenging and a little stressful and building a pool at the same time probably not a wise idea, but Julio and his crew were really great. Julio was very accommodating when it came to some design changes and hold ups in getting materials. We also used his company to landscape the area around the pool and are happy we did.
