Stonegait has a very casual vibe. It has nice outdoor seating and a large indoor seating area reminiscent of a brewhouse. It is a place where you order from the bar and pick up your own food order (self service). Wine tasting is in plastic cups (not my favorite way to drink it). We had the spinach and artichoke dip and a flight. The dip was very Parmesan heavy, but nice and I was glad they had food offerings. The wines weren't to my taste, but my husband liked their Syrah and purchased a bottle.

We only had about an hour here since we were on a wine bus tour, but I was really happy with our short visit! I enjoyed the wine and it was quick to order at the counter. We ordered a margherita pizza and the hot honey pizza and were very pleased how quickly the food came out since we were on a time limit. I absolutely loved the pizza--it was delicious! The patio was really nice and perfect for our big group.

Visited on a lovely fall Sunday after driving to see beautiful trees and covered bridges. How blessed to live in a region with so much beauty to offer! Stopped here so we could enjoy a bottle of wine and have our dog sit with us on the patio. While it was a sweatshirt day, the sun ,Ade it feel much warmer. It was in the upper 60s lower 70s and such a great day to sit outside. We had an order of pretzel sticks and artichoke dip with naan bread to accompany our chose of a Riesling. The artichoke dip was ok. I found it to be too mayo heavy. The pretzel sticks were very nice with mustard and cheese sauce. The mustard was the better if the two. Next time, I'll ask for two mustard and no cheese. Straightforward order process. Order at the counter, you get a buzzer and you get your stuff. Team members were helpful. Beautiful patio! Clean restrooms. Great wine! Definitely a place to come with family and friends (including furry friends on the patio!)

Really impressive winery with a great selection of wines, several food choices, and lots of seating including a variety of seating outdoors and indoors. We came on a Saturday night and they were super busy but still had several tables open. They also had live music and the band was pretty good. I appreciated their honesty about the wait for food (an hour), but I ordered the cordon bleu salad which was a good price but left me hungry enough to have to go back and order a cheese plate. Both were very good though! Wines were served with generous pours though and I very much enjoyed the Rkatsiteli and Tempranillo. I absolutely would love to come back here again if I'm ever in the area. It's a great place to bring friends or a date to have an enjoyable summer night.

Agli Olio , Veggies pizza , baked to perfection, from cheese to crust. No better wood fired pizza in North America. Prove me wrong.

I have been to the finest , authentic wineries across America to try and compare to the wood fired pizzas from Italy and Europe. Stonegait Winery is the best wood fired pizza in the North Eastern United States.

Visited while on a girls weekend. The orange creamsicle was tasty but they had a mashed potato pizza that was amazing. Will definitely revisit.

Third stop on our winery chili cook off!!! This was the first chili ensemble that included sour cream cheese, and a little cornbread....a great added touch. Not that this influenced me but it is now the top runner. Two more to go.

First time at this winery and was impressed with the building. Everything was beautiful and the outside seating area was very nice. We did a sampling and since we like red wines, we went with 5 reds and a Chardonnay. I wasn't thrilled with the presentation, as it didn't go with the beauty of the winery. Of all the wines, I liked the Zinfandel the best, which is weird, because it's not a wine I usually like. It was very smooth and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They did have a food menu, which was pretty small, consisting of pizzas, calzones, etc. We are flying, so can't take anything with us, but the Zin wins my vote of approval.

After having relocated back to the area, we decided to do some winery hopping with some visiting family. We love the staples, but decided to try all new wineries we hadn't been to before, and Stonegait was second on the itinerary! Upon pulling into their parking lot, I noticed right away how beautiful the grounds were. Everything was big and open and the landscaping was beautiful. The inside had a cozy ambiance that felt very welcoming. We were visiting several wineries on this day and planned to eat a meal at a later winery, and so we didn't want to overdo it on food and wine before our last destination. Let me tell you though, the smells coming from their kitchen were driving me crazy and I told my family we would definitely need to come back when a meal is an option because their pizzas looked and smelled phenomenal! We got a little snack tray to share and took it outside. The service was quick, even with a line forming for food. As soon as we got outside, I noticed right away how beautiful their patio area is, and I made a mental note to also come back when they have live music. I plan to return and try their pizza and some music, and I will update my review when I do, but my experience here was so great that it's one of the few wineries I am genuinely excited to return to.

We stopped in on a recent visit 'up North'. We each had a flight of wine (6 tastings) - mostly different from each other, and shared a Cheese board. Their selection of wines is quite impressive - about 20 in total (from perhaps 10-15 different grapes?). The property is surrounded on 2 sides by vineyards and is well-populated with inside and outside places to sit - tables and benches, both under roof and in shaded ares. The menu was impressive. They also offer draft beer, a couple of which were local. It's located on a road with what seems like 10 other wineries. We ended up only liking/buying the Riesling, though I'd like to stop again to try again (recovering from sickness, my taste may have been effected). This seems like a nice venue.

We opted for inside and to sit at the bar. It was super windy out and instead of battling the wind we sat at the bar. It was a beautiful view on a beautiful day. We got the sangria and the focaccia appetizer. Both were good. Sangria was very citrus forward. It worked on a hot day. The focaccia had 3 toppings and olive tapenade, balsamic and oil, and butter. All 3 were good and the focaccia was warm. It hit the spot. Service was very attentive. And inside they have TV's and outside the view of the lake. It very nice and the patio is fun. This is higher end so most of the prices and drinks are in the $13 and up range. Our bill for 2 sangrias and app was around $48. So just be aware. I'd go back. They have dinner and an Inn. Seems like a good place. Again the view of the lake was spectacular. Good place!

Disappointing experience -- will not return…read more We traveled from out of the country for a friend's proposal weekend at Vincent William, which had been planned for months. During our first visit, Tracy was welcoming and helped us choose the wine cellar as the proposal location. The day before, we met with her to confirm setup details since we would be decorating the space with flowers and candles. When we arrived the next day at our agreed-upon time, Tracy appeared surprised and seemed unaware the proposal was happening that day. She seemed flustered and inconvenienced, which was disappointing considering how much planning had gone into the weekend. While she did allow us to check in early (which we appreciated), the setup itself felt uncomfortable as we were supervised by a high school-aged employee despite everyone involved being adults in our 30s. The restaurant staff were wonderful and truly the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience felt more restrictive than welcoming. We were stopped from briefly showing the engaged couple's friends their room, felt monitored regarding pool usage, and overheard staff discussing reporting the number of guests using the pool. We understand having rules, but the way these situations were handled made us feel like we were being treated as a problem rather than valued guests. The final issue occurred when we returned to the Inn around 1:45 a.m. and the owner knocked on our door shortly afterward stating that guests had complained about noise. We were respectful of other guests and made every effort not to disturb anyone. The property itself is beautiful, and the restaurant team was excellent, but the hospitality experience did not match the expectations for a property at this level. We came to celebrate a very special moment and left feeling unwelcome. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Live music on a sat evening with a beautiful view of the manicured property, we had a big table that they held for us ahead of time as we called an hour before getting there. They don't take reservations but if you give them a heads up, it'll be smoother for both parties. The place was so lively and everyone who served us were friendly and so accommodating! Our kids went outside and played catch while us adults relaxed and enjoyed the wines, you can see them from the massive windows. The food was wonderful, the goat cheese fondue isn't too rich like a traditional cheese, try it! The hanger steak was so tender and juicy, scallops were not overcooked. Honestly if you are in the area, take a peek at this place and try the local wines. The bottle prices are so fair! Not pretentious and the parking was plenty. The outdoor area is incredibly spacious, offering everything from a covered patio to seating right down by the vineyard with umbrella coverage. Whether you need an intimate two-seater, a large table for a group, or a standing-style arrangement around covered barrels, they have a space for it. They were even setting up for live music the night I visited, which added to the great atmosphere. What really struck me was how well-run this establishment is. Large venues can often be a logistical nightmare, but Laurentia operates masterfully. They use a controlled seating and walk-up ordering system for everything--wine, coffee, and food--which keeps things moving efficiently without feeling chaotic. The friendly staff then bring the food right to your table. Speaking of the staff, their work ethic and rapport are truly exceptional. You can tell they are proud of the operation and genuinely enjoy working with one another. As for the menu, the Syrah was exactly what I was hoping for and thoroughly enjoyable. The Chicken Gnocchi was excellent--cooked to a perfect al dente and packed with delicious pieces of chicken, bacon, and asparagus. It was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented; I intended to snap a photo but just couldn't wait to dig in! I finished the evening with coffee and the Key Lime Cheesecake. Restaurant coffee is often an afterthought, but this cup was wonderfully smooth and delicious. It was the perfect pairing for the cheesecake, which was incredibly fresh, perfectly set, and topped with beautifully ripe strawberries and a strawberry sauce underneath. (A quick, honest note for picky eaters: it didn't come with the mango puree that was advertised, but it was so delicious I didn't mind at all).
