Beautiful property with a lot to offer. Perfect for a date night, a girls event or a special occasion family meal The service is easy going and friendly. They even offered us a tour! The menu is interesting with a variety for everyone to find something but not too big to be overwhelming. We enjoyed apps, salads and pasta. Oh and the wine! Lovely all around

Stopped by for lunch as this place has been on my dying to try list! The entrance is interesting as you drive thru a small residential area before parking in the gravel lot. There is a park right next door too for additional parking. The grounds are still being worked on as it is still springtime and I definitely need to come back during the summer season and when the weather isn't so dreary in northeast Ohio. We asked to sit at a table by the window but were told we couldn't sit there, mind you it was not busy at all and no one sat at that table the entire time we were there so I wasn't very happy with the staff. We ended up eating at the bar since we could still somewhat see the water that way. The food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal so that and the ambiance is the only reason I would consider coming back as the staff really ruined the experience for me. Glad I didn't book an overnight stay for that reason alone. Moscato Cabernet Sauvignon Lavender Margarita Honey Whipped Ricotta Dip Wagyu Burger

Ambiance was outstanding definitely something to check out. The service was also great, and the quality of the food was on point. They do have a seasonal menu, and at this time it wasn't my favorite of choices. I will be back to try some of the other rotating menu items throughout the year. The Cabernet Franc was very nice.

Made reservations on a Friday night for outdoor dinner seating. About ten minutes after we were seated the waitress told us rain was on the way and they would recommend moving inside (they reserve a separate room indoors for those who made reservation outdoors if it rains - which was really nice). Once seated we met the owner's son (Vince) and had a nice conversation about the history of VW and how it came to fruition. Such an interesting journey and well worth the ask! We ordered the Fire Roasted Red Peppers and Whipped Ricotta dip. Both apps were very good and a nice portion to share. My friend and I ordered the scallops and they were very good. They looked a little smaller than the photos I've seen on here, but good nonetheless. My husband ordered the pork chop and thought it was good, and very thick! Lastly, my friend ordered the Bucatini Piccata and it was tasty!. The chicken was a nice size, but I personally would have preferred it not breaded/fried. Lastly, the best part of our meal was the Croissant Bread Pudding! One of the best desserts I've ever had... And I hardly ever order desserts :-) Later we ran into Vince again and had a nice conversation (Go Bobcats). Very down to earth, and so nice for him to take the time to share more about Vincent William Wine. We will 100% be back and encourage anyone who is happy with their service to spread the word. This family and establishment definitely deserve it!

We stopped at Vincent William Winery for a late lunch in January 2025 before driving back home to Chicago. It was our first visit to the winery, and ended up being the best meal of our entire trip. I rave about it to everyone. The inn and restaurant are absolutely gorgeous--thoughtfully designed, warm, and elegant--and the entire property truly stands out in the Grand River Valley. The setting is stunning: a unique lakefront location with peaceful views that feel more like a boutique estate than a typical winery. Even in winter, the atmosphere was serene and inviting. What really impressed us, though, was the pride the staff takes in the place. We were given a full tour of the property, and it was clear how dedicated and invested they are in ensuring Vincent William Winery succeeds. That level of care shows in every detail. As for the food--wow. Every dish we ordered was outstanding, from the warm, crusty bread with baked brie and preserves to the vibrant house meatballs and beautifully prepared entrées. The pasta was rich and comforting, and the pork chop was perfectly cooked with hearty, flavorful sides. Presentation was as thoughtful as the flavors. The cocktails were equally impressive. The Old Fashioned was balanced, smooth, and among the best I've had at a winery. Their wines were excellent as well, and I cannot wait until they launch a wine club--I'd be ready to sign up. The chef's classes also sound fantastic and would be a no-brainer for us if we lived locally. Truly, we have zero criticisms. Prices felt quite fair for the quality and experience. The property is exceptional, and the staff offers the kind of genuine hospitality that's increasingly rare. Vincent William Winery is a unique lakefront gem, and every time we're in Greater Cleveland, we'll make it a point to return.

Love this place! The patio is awesome with a wonderful view the food is delicious - the wine - even better!

I absolutely love this place! You absolutely cannot bet the view. It's a beautiful patio setting and there are table right on the water. A perfect place for sunset. We got cocktails (limoncello spritz $12) and they were really good! The food was less expensive than I thought it would be and was decent. They have a good selection of gluten free items including flatbread! There isn't really any service, you order at the counter, but the employees behind the counter were very nice and helpful. I 100% recommend going here.

Absolutely beautiful location inside and out. We opted to sit outside for the lake view but the decor inside is warm and welcoming as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, substituting GF flatbread so I could enjoy the baked brie, which was a real treat. My only criticism is that the compote was a bit bland and could have used a bit of acid and/or the addition of some herbs from their garden. I really appreciate that you can have leisurely tastings right at your table. Very good wines, as well as full bar options for non-wine drinkers

Wonderful Friday evening dinner here! The ambiance is excellent! Food was delicious and service was on point!! Mike was very gracious to wait on us! We loved dining here!

I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 days. I am a single woman wanting to have some peace and quiet with lots of wine! I stayed at the Inn and I have never had a more special experience. At night I sat in the wine lane and quickly made friends with the staff and owner. You know it's a wonderful place when staff are off work and hang out at the bar and spend time together. Mike is the owner and he is accommodating and down to earth- really cares about the inn. Tracy- omg- don't know what to say- she makes everyone feel welcomed and she is incredibly caring. The food, chef, bartenders, Alice who served me breakfast every morning- everyone was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is so quiet and very comfortable beds and room are beautiful. Sunsets are breathtaking. Highly recommend a stay!

The food is to die for ! I had the Bucatini Piccata and it was the best I've ever had. We were not staying at the winery, so we could not make reservations. However, they have tables that are first come first served for people that aren't lodging there. We arrived at 5 on a Friday night and were seated within 5 minutes. Will definitely be back !!!!

Amazing views... really sweet spot. Hmmmmm... I had the vegetarian burger (server said it was "homemade"), well it was your typical Morningstar farms spicy black bean burger... so for $16 that's a hard pass for me. Also- chips did have a truffle dust but also not homemade. My friend had the short ribs- definitely needed some gravy- and the bread pudding was delicious but the pricing ($100 for lunch)... would not recommend. Sorry, but the service was a+

Beautiful lakeside setting, delicious food. I had the brie and a blackberry wine spritzer. The house is gorgeous as well.

    Are nice jeans okay?

Definitely. When we were last there, we saw a wide range of outfits, from “fancy” (it was the weekend of the Kentucky Derby) to “silly” (same 😂) to casual. I wore jeans and I felt just right but it’s certainly a place you can dress up if you’re…

Which, good lord- was probably one of the best breakfast items I've had anywhere! The crust was buttery and perfect. The quiche was so good- I almost ordered another one. It was that perfect. I need to mention I came here a week ago to snag a to go coffee- and I had the Butterbeer. A butterscotch dream mocha creation that I had to mention. Yes folks- their creations are stellar. Right then I knew I was either about to have the worst breakfast of my life or one of the best stories. Thankfully, it was the latter. To the TripAdvisor reviewer, I only have one question. Did Gordon Ramsay personally cook breakfast for you every morning growing up? Because those are the only expectations that could possibly explain that review. This place is tiny, but that's exactly what makes it special. I felt like a regular before my coffee even had a chance to cool off. The owner, the servers, and even the folks in the kitchen made us feel like we'd been coming here for years. Sitting right next to our table was a plate of fake roaches and a pile of crooked silverware. Between that and all the hilarious signs and decorations covering the walls, I probably spent as much time looking around and laughing as I did eating. Every wall has something worth reading, and it's all part of the experience. The breakfast was fantastic, but honestly, that's not why I'll remember this place. A place that makes you laughh, treats you like family, and makes you feel like you belong before you've finished your first cup of coffee is much harder to find. Breakfast is simple, atmosphere is hard to achieve in today's society. The place has breakfast but delivers on culture and atmosphere. That's what makes it special. To the owners, thank you for proving that customer service isn't dead. You've created one of the most original restaurants I've ever visited. The food was excellent, but the experience is what I'll remember.

Walls are plastered with funny sayings and the staff adds to the irreverent vibe by yelling out loud "if you're eating, hurry up and if you're done, get the hell out of here" when it's busy and people are waiting for a table. The food is as good as any greasy diner. Basic breakfast is filling and reasonably priced. Plastic silver ware and paper plates make it easy clean up for the staff. Just be sure you check your coffee cup for chips. I don't like drinking from a chipped cup or glass and it may actually be illegal to serve beverages in those. The waitress was nice and took mine back and brought me one without chips. Although I don't think the management cares to replace them.
