Not real care my their sales person talked my mother and I into learning a care facility that provided much better care. It all sounded good until she really needed dental and health care. My mother is on dialysis and needs dentures. She suffers from malnutrition because she is unable to chew food. Welbe keeps giving her the run around telling her they need approvals to do the dental work. It's been over a year and welbe is just taking the money and doing nothing more. I have the recordings from her dental appointment last year were they told her they would have her dental corrected in about 9 months. Well a year later and nothing. This is a senior day center not a health care manager. Don't enroll you parent or self in this program unless you plan to never be taken care of.

Now, mind you we have told them way in advance to secure a spot. It's just a matter of confirming which provider he was going too. So, to be told this is BS. Point Blank. I guess this will just be another thing added to our list of concerns when we meet with them next week. I truly feel sorry for the patients that have nobody caring for them or advocating for them! I live alone out in the country on 5 acres and off-grid. I would never have been able to stay in my home if it was not for the incredible help I have received from this wonderful agency. My worker Sabrina is my "angel." She has helped me get all the things I need to be safe. I had a dangerous entry with no handrails where I had fallen a couple of times. She was able to get a company to install an aluminum porch with wide stairs and handrails. That changed my life! No more falls. Sabrina and her team are always there when I need them and are committed to my well-being and safety. They really helped me create a safe and workable living situation. Everyone there treats you with respect and they go out of their way to help you. What an incredible Agency that is staffed by the most incredible people. I highly recommend them!

I'm now a senior searching for services and had a lot of questions so I called them last week. Still the same lack of information and complacency, This Agency is a federally funded organization. Oersonally I feel they're taking advantage of seniors and taxpayer dollars. I received more direction by calling Fresno's local 211. Again the Agency for Aging ads make them appear to be a huge clearinghouse of information for seniors but they are far from it. Due to my experience over 20 yrs, I feel they should be disbanded and federal grant money should go to 211.

Staff is caring & readily available. Physical Therapists are top rated in my book. I'm stronger than before my injury & plan to continue working out to get even stronger. Occupational Therapists have taught me how to prevent future injuries & ways to strengthen every day practices. I give top rating all around. God Bless them all.

I am heartbroken and outraged by the gross negligence of the skilled nursing facility where my…read more91-year-old grandfather was receiving care for his physical therapy. He was supposed to recover there and return home, but because they failed to properly monitor his catheter, he developed a severe infection. He was transferred back to the community hospital, and the infection entered his bloodstream. Ultimatley, he passed away. At one point, we spoke with the director in charge late in the day. While we voiced my concerns, she didn't even make eye contact--she packed her bag, shut down her computer, and got ready to leave. It was clear she had no real interest in addressing the issues, and that moment reflected exactly why the facility runs the way it does--with indifference and a lack of accountability. They never followed directions, and any time I asked questions, no one knew the answers. They blamed the previous shift instead of taking responsibility. No family should have to suffer a loss because of such neglect. I urge others to stay far away from this facility. Their inaction cost my grandfather his life.

They are the only facility in the Fresno area that would accept someone with his diagnosis. When I removed him from his previous facility that was rated 4 stars by Clovis Community, he was so weak that he could not sit up or stand because he had lost nearly 30 pounds because of their poor care. The receptionist at Sierra Vista was very welcoming. The staff was friendly and I could ask any staff member about his condition. At his previous facility I was only allowed to speak to one person and she never gave me answers to my questions regarding his weight, BP, etc. Sierra Vista's dedicated Physical Therapy staff was able to get him up on his feet and walking again. I am extremely thankful for them doing that! When he was discharged to go home many of the staff hugged him goodbye or gave him a kiss on the cheek. They will be happy to know that he is still up and walking. Thank you Sierra Vista!

I was there three months b/c of a car accident. If I had to put some one in this home I believe I would feel good about the general care. I of course would have to bring meals for my loved ones because honestly their food was not edible. HOWEVER **** if you are there with a wound this is not the place to be. My wound nurse decided to oil up my wound then proceeded to tightly bandage my wounded leg. This was not the surgeons orders. Wound nurses are suppose to be a specialized skill. Well this one wasn't. I went home thinking I was finally on my way to recovery. Three days later my wound had opened and I could see the hardware in my leg. Hugh hole. Returned to E.R. Turns out the infection had turned to MRSA and I had to be readmitted to the hospital to open the wound, clean it out, remove the rod in my leg. So now I'm back to square one. After the hospital I went to Willow Creek. Not my choice but because I now had MRSA I needed to be in isolation. DON'T GO HERE. Everyone is lazy. You rarely see your CNA, your nurse is NEVER on time with meds, and sometimes my call button would be on for 1 1/2 hours. Not the kind of place I'd send my elderly. This place is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! This is a long account and I'm skipping the next 4 weeks. The long and the short of it is: I loved the people at Sierra Vista. Watch out for the wound nurse, make sure you can deliver meals to your loved ones. And remember to stay away from Willow Creek. I would have given this a 5 because I loved the people. I subtracted for the terrible food and the unskilled wound nurse.

I must say that Orchard Post Acute with a loving, compassionate staff made her stay easier to tolerate. The CNA'S were more than happy to help with dressing and personal needs. They and the whole staff truly went above and beyond to make her stay pleasant. The PT department was so awesome! They truly had a motivating attitude towards all of the patients. You can see and feel that they really care about people. What was special and touched me deeply was her red carpet send off. The staff gathered around and played her favorite music as she left the facility. It's these things that make a facility special. I was tearful as I witnessed the care my mom received. I highly recommend Orchard Post Acute for your loved one.

They won't return phone calls regarding updates on your loved one or have care to call you if having issues with your loved one. I stated many times to call if there was an issue with our loved one and no one ever called the family to let us know. The facility is not well kept and is dirty. They allow the residents to yell, cuss, & blast rap music as loud and as long as they want. They stole multiple things from my loved one. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. It's really sad to see the elderly not being taken care of properly and rotting away in their beds. This was overall an awful experience , I don't think it gets any worse than this.
