The holds on the VB, V0, and V1s were still challenging as someone who has climbed about 10-20 times so far. It was a good push! I came here a few days ago looking for vertical ascend gear out of caves. I was greeted by Jason and he was really helpful and knowledgeable. I needed very specific gear, and Jason was very patient with me and showed me where I could find sit harnesses, chest harness, chest ascender, hand ascende, foot loops, etc. I didn't find exactly what I needed but got a good idea on the things I need to build a personalized vertical gear set for myself. And of course, while I was looking for cave gear, I wandered around looking at all the fabulous gear they have, I was like a kid in a candy store. I could spend hours in here. I started looking at hydration packs as I need to replace mine and found a very nice military edition and will come back to purchase this soon. I also saw plenty of Petzl bags, and very tempted to purchase another. They also carry so much Petzl gear, you will be in heaven here. Also, some great hiking shoes and some sleek, but we'll performing water shoes. I then wandered into kayaks and Jason even showed me the Padillac they have! I've gotten into paddleboarding and kayaking for the summer and now want one of each! This place rents them and sells them. I then went to check out some wetsuit gear, and they have a really nice selection of wetsuits, gloves, booties, etc. I really love this place and it is definitely gonna bankrupt me, but so worth it. High quality gear, more extensive selection than REI and the staff here know what they are talking about. If you need something specialized, this is the place for you. I'll be back here soon!

Stay away at all costs…read more If you purchase a monthly membership, be warned that they will not cancel it, will not refund you, and will tell you that this happens all the time (them failing to cancel memberships after telling customers they are all set). Around October 2024, we cancelled our monthly membership. The website was down, so we did so in person and were told we're all set and it's cancelled. It was in fact never cancelled and we continued to be charged until we cancelled the credit card itself in July 2026. We went in person to ask how and why this happened. We were told that this happens ALL the time (!!) and that our situation (~18 months of over billing) isn't even the worst they've seen (!!). They went as far as saying that often times someone will write down a name to cancel their membership, but then the person who is able to do the actual cancellation is never told what that name is for, so it never happens. (I'm still shocked that they blatantly acknowledged what a pervasive issue this is for them). After emailing corporate about the situation (as we were told to do), we were offered ONE MONTH of refund to cover ~18 months of over charge. That is crazy. We have continued to go back and forth and Sky Zone refuses to refund the money for a membership that was cancelled nearly two years ago. Absolutely wild behavior. Stay away at all costs.

I didn't hear back so on MONDAY I called to find out Kamery had NO idea of the situation. Odd. It almost seems like it was an employee of the club. Of course, the police have bigger fish to fry and lifetime does not stand behind their members safety although they will gladly charge you $300+ a month. Do not come here, do not bring your wallets, do not bring your bags. Honestly I wouldn't even bring my children... Unsafe, unprofessional, and I will be spreading the word to stay far away from this club.

It's a fun hike and definitely a good workout. It's also very well marked for people who frequently get lost on trails like me. I wasn't super impressed with the view at the top since it's just overlooking the city but it's probably one of the highest vantage points compared to other hikes. Tips: There is one part where the stairs and rails are where it gets very windy so sunglasses can help. You don't necessarily need gloves to do the hike, just be careful with how you pivot with your hands, I got through it without any callouses, scabs or scratches. Like others said, try to wear shoes with some type of traction, I got through it with sneakers. Very small parking lot so come at sunrise or if you come around 7am, sometimes the early risers leave around that time. There's bathrooms and a water fountain at the beginning. Have fun and be safe!

He said, "It varies because they're always late." He was smoking, by the way, so it wasn't comfortable to wait in the little bit of shade by the front door. A month or so ago I went by about 15 mins after they were supposed to open. I waited about 10-15 mins and no one showed up. Very unprofessional. I wrote the management a complaint. They never responded.

You can tell it was designed to be a special place, and on the surface, it truly is adorable. That said, my experience left me feeling uneasy, mostly due to cleanliness and supervision concerns. I witnessed multiple children putting toys in their mouths (which is totally normal for kids), but what was concerning was that those same toys were often placed right back into shared play areas. While I later learned there is a designated bin for toys that have been in kids' mouths, this wasn't communicated upfront, and I didn't see it being consistently used or enforced. There also seemed to be inconsistency when it came to staff involvement. Across my two visits, I did see some staff members actively cleaning up and returning toys to their proper places, which I appreciated. However, I also observed others simply picking up toys and dropping them into corners of the rooms without any real organization or sanitizing. I completely understand that keeping up with kids is a challenge--I'm a parent too--but that's where consistent staff engagement becomes really important. Another issue was the level of parental supervision. Many parents were on their phones while their kids played freely. Again, that's ultimately a parenting responsibility, but in a shared environment like this, it contributes to the overall hygiene and safety concerns. I also want to mention that I found the staff presentation a bit unprofessional, which added to the overall impression that things weren't being closely managed. To be fair, you do sign a waiver regarding illness, and I understand that no play space can be completely germ-free. However, I did end up contracting chickenpox exactly 10 days after visiting, which makes me seriously question the effectiveness of their cleaning and sanitizing practices. Overall, this place is incredibly cute and full of potential. With more consistent staff involvement, clearer communication, better sanitization systems, and encouragement for parents to stay engaged, it could be an amazing environment. Right now, though, it falls short of what it could and should be.

Sundays climb was AMAZING!!! There were a couple nature obstacles to manage through (think gnats and bee stings!!) but I'd take them 1000 times over for the wonderful evening weather, the zen quiet and the incredible views that I got on this adventure! I'm humbled by the experience!!! I cant thank Caleb from @stonemanclimbing enough for his awesome teaching abilities, you really make an effort to know what a person's learning style is and that really makes a difference in my book!! I climbed with StoneMan climbing in early February and my guide was Neil. We climbed near Tom's Thumb outside of Scottsdale. I've been a climber for a year or so now and have used many guides and guide services to enhance my experience / knowledge. I've never experienced anyone like Neil. He had copious amounts of knowledge and made me feel so safe. He was not only a guide but was truly a friend for the day. We did a 3 pitch climb and he made me feel like it was no big deal and so enhanced the whole thing. I will remember my experience forever. I climbed with Neil about two weeks ago. Great time. Neil took me out to a place that he knew really well outside of Tucson on the way up to Mt. Lemmon. Because of his familiarity with the area, Neil picked out climbs that he thought I would enjoy and also climbs that I would find challenging. Great day. My boyfriend and I booked the 2 hour rock climbing trip and we are so glad we did! Neil was our guide and did an amazing job coaching us through climbs and teaching us techniques. Called Mike on a Saturday and we were tearing it up early the next morning. I brought my 3 boys and we met Mike as early as I could rally the troops in the morning around 7:00am. When we got to the house, Mike had mentioned him and a friend he had at the house were going out riding as well and were planning on making their way to a little pond headed south on the Hassayampa and invited us to join them. I gladly took the offer and we had the BEST time. Plenty of areas to gas it, up hills, splashing through the river - we got it all in just a few hours. We'd stop every so often for a water break and a snack break and my boys had zero complaints about anything. They loved every minute of the trip. Even swapped drivers and got my oldest in the driver's seat and he was pumped. I just can't say what an amazing memory for me and my boys this was and Mike made it all happen for us. With Mike's guidance through the terrain, I was 100% confident in everything we did! Paperwork was easy - 3 sheets with a few signatures and initials. Pretty typical liability waivers, a brief overview on how not to get yourself killed, etc, etc. Just a heads up though, the credit card hold is $1000 - it wasn't unreasonable but might be a bit of a burden for some people. Rental rates were basically the same as the competitors - slightly higher since we went on a weekend (as I recall, a some other places didn't charge extra for that). But I preferred to pay a little more and go with a place that didn't seem super sketchy - the Yelp reviews and BBB rating put my mind at ease, and the owner was always quick to answer calls. Altogether had a blast at Lake Pleasant! Will rent here again next time I'm in the area and need some high speed entertainment.

Neither of them (6 and 10) had ever been on a horse before so we researched to find a place that would take that into account. We were really excited for our girls to do the "family" fun package. I called and arranged a time for the ride. Luckily we planned to get there early as we accidentally ended up at a neighbors house and had to course correct. We got there and after filling out a lot of paperwork (waiver forms, info sheets, etc.) It was time for the girls to ride. They were each fit with a helmet and taken to a horse by the owner Anita. She had 2 other ladies with her that helped with the ride. Both girls were walked around the pen with their respective horses and learned the basic commands like move and stop. My older girl was able to catch on to direct the horse with the reins. Both girls seemed to have a good time. The only let down and the reason behind the 4 stars instead of 5, was the pretty hefty price of $120 for both my girls to be able to ride for just 30 minutes. (The owner only wanted cash or bank transfer m, FYI.) And I specifically mean 30 minutes, as the owner kept asking one of the other ladies how much time was left. That was a bit distracting and honestly made it seem like she just wanted it over with. The last concern I had was the fact that my youngest (who I admit is a talker) kept trying to talk to her and the other lady helping, but they kept having their own conversation. I had explained this was a birthday gift/celebration for both girls and we were hoping it would be special. The fact that the paying customer (who was disappointed) was being ignored is pretty sad. Luckily my girls were so excited to ride a horse they didn't see the issues I did. (Mentality of ride 30 minutes then be gone. No petting the horses or seeing the other ones.) This was a decent first experience and there was no concern for their safety, but we will probably explore other options in the future.
