This is my first time here. They have the ability to host large groups. We were in the back room and it fit about 25 people. They do special menus for large parties. The service was good. It is hard to provide good service to a large party but our server was great. The loaded fries are so good. They really loaded it up with cheese. If you like wings you should try the garlic wings. I had the double fish. The fish are really large pieces.

During a day trip to Whitetail Ski Resort, we decided to grab lunch nearby at Stoners On The Square. It was a great choice! The restaurant is located in a quaint little town and looks pretty cute on the outside. Inside, the restaurant looks like a typical bar with high top wooden tables. The service was accommodating and fairly quick given the amount of people there. The food was yummy. We ordered the nachos, BBQ bacon burger, and buffalo pierogis. I'd recommend any of them. As a note, the pierogi are regular pierogis (with cheese filling) with buffalo chicken bites on top. The burger is also large in size, and comes with fries. They also have a variety of beers that you can order on tap.

Really not sure what to score this place if I am being upfront- there were so many variables to it, from location, to staff, to fellow customers, to food. Stopped here after getting popped in Bedford and decided to drive just a tad over some mountains to here on a Sunday. Cool that of all the places that aren't chains- this may be the only one within a 75mi radius in the western PA area that is open on Sunday. So be it- driving was fine. Located on the main drag in town- stone brick building and a smaller space with a bar area upon entry. We sat and ordered a couple of crab pretzels which were massive in size (appreciated) so if you're wondering to get one or two? One for a party of two, and two for a party 3-4. Crab topping was good - a little on the warm side and had some spice to it. For the meal I went with fish n chips which isn't usually my go-to but I panicked and decided to go big. As you can see from my pictures - the fish was huge. And two of them. Wow. Fries were good reminding me of Thrashers or that boardwalk style. Fish was okay. But the LVP was the tartar sauce. MUSTARD SEED BELONGS IN TARTAR SAUCE AS MUCH AS ICE BELONGS IN WINE. I love tartar sauce - but man that was disappointing. Our waitress Maria was nice- and especially friendly to one of us. Will be thinking on that. Very firbesly and courteous and attentive. The main issue was other patrons with a woman getting hosed and falling off a bar stool and other really drinking heavily near the end of the day. Yikes. I really recommend this place if you find yourself in the area

Absolutely wonderful! 10/10 Didn't know the area, decided to go for my birthday. My husband got the stoners classic and I got the Mediterranean pasta with steak added on.

We had lunch on a cold February day. The front dining room was nearly full but we were seated immediately. It took a while to give our order and then nearly half an hour to get the food. The food was good bar food and the atmosphere is nice. Maybe if we had sat in one of the rear dining rooms we would have been served quicker.

Visiting town and stopped by this small town bar/restaurant. I got the chicken panini. Overall 7/10 the pesto was a bit excessive for me but the other party I came with says the pesto was tolerated because "it's under the cheese".

A bit pricey but consistently good. The Ruben has thicker corn beef . The poutine is authentic and delicious. All staff have been nice.

Actually, the fact that this place exists as a sole entity nestled amongst a village of about 1500 is probably a blessing for both visitors and locals. Apparently the residents in the viscinity of the ski lodge voted to keep the place alcohol free, but that could someday change. In the meantime, the Mansion is well serving of your alcoholic and munchie needs and at a much more reasonable price than standard resort fares. It's a small location despite its name, with a handful of tables and bar space. The bartender mentioned they have additional seating that opens at certain times or for large parties perhaps. Closed Sundays and Monday's, opens around 4 pm on Tuesday. We showed up around 5:30 pm, and it was freezing inside. It has been a warmish winter day, but I was grateful I kept my ski gear on. They turn the heat up for the week when they reopen, and it's an old building so it takes some time to rewarm. The bartender is awesome-incredibly friendly, prompt, down to earth. Easy to talk to, whether he acknowledges that gift or not I can't be sure. I'd come back just to hang out with him. The blackboard outside the bar read "Everyone makes us happy-some when they arrive, some when they leave :)" which may sum up his personality better than trite observations from a brief, casual encounter. In any case, he makes the place worth visiting. Their drink and food selection is more than adequate, though not particularly diverse in its range, but still offers something for everyone. Beers and bloody Mary's were our drinks, and the Bloody Mary had a quality mix. I added their hot sauce (something Cajun) to make it as spicy as I like. They were well mixed and went down easy. We split fried pickles, onion rings, and chicken tenders. There was enough for us 3 to have one or two pieces of each. The fried food was good! Standard bar fare, but still higher end ingredients. You can sometimes just tell it's not GFS, but something better. The pickles were full pickles, not the sliced chip variety. They had a couple salads, a BLT and burger on the menu as well. If you are a tired skiier, a local art school kid, a townie in need of a buzz, or a traveler weary from your time on the road, come here and refresh your mind and body with fine spirits from the Mansion.

We all shared a fried pickle app. Fried pickles were standard with a house made dill type dip. Dip was good but portion could be a bit larger. Poutine was ok. I'm not a fan of cornstarch dusted fries-so there's that. The short rib was tender and plentiful. Oddly, though the short rib and the gravy didn't have a very beefy flavor. So the poutine was sadly underwhelming in my point of view. The portion is large enough to definitely share. My daughter's chicken thigh sandwich was good. She thought it was flavorful the sauce on. It was nothing to write home about. The house made chips were OK. My mom's cheeseburger looks really good. It was cooked just as she ordered. She said it was very tasty. It came with like a barbecue sauce on it, but she said overall was very good. They have a rather large drink menu with products from their distillery. The prices were not crazy. That skillet of poutine was $16. Total bill for three of us with fountain sodas an iced tea, our bill was $82. They have a bar it is somewhat kid friendly so give it a try.
