This is a great veterinary clinic and we have been using them for our animals since it opened. We currently have 3 dogs as well as a cat all that receive care. We utilize Stones River Veterinary clinic for boarding, spay and neutering services, as well as routine care for our animals. The office is clean and neat and the staff is friendly. We trust Stones River Vet clinic and it's staff to make the right recommendations for care for our animals. Our dogs get excited when they go in. This office had excellent protocol including curbside service to allow the office to continue to operate safely during the thick of the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, they are allowing folks back into the office due to the state of the pandemic. One of the things I have read and have seen is that prices aren't as competitive as they could be. (A little more expensive than the average vet clinic) However, we think visiting Stones River Vet clinic is well worth it for the service we receive. One benefit is that Stones River Vet clinic has an app as well as a loyalty program where you can earn points with each visit towards things such as free nail trim, monetary coupons, free Nexguard treatments, etc. We have never had an issue with Stones River vet and have been quite pleased from Dr. Tepp and the other Vets abs vet techs to the thoughtful and caring boarding staff, this is a great place to take your animals. read more

Stone's River takes care of my two canine babies, Sunshine and Sam. Sam is a senior rescue and has been very ill. The entire staff have been amazing, attentive, and compassionate. These people actually care about your pet. You need to make this your vet office!!! My chihuahua had her teeth pulled & later on had been diagnosed w/ cancer. They called me a several times after they saw her to check on her. They did a follow up appointment after her diagnosis for free. There is no waiting for emergencies. Dr. T is like the coolest, kindest vet I've EVER had. She loves animals, I actually think she would still do this line of work even if it didn't pay. She is soft spoken & makes you feel at ease the second she walks in the room. She has a gift not only with animals but with people too. She even gave me a hug when my dog had to be taken out of misery & pain to go to doggie heaven. The entire staff is super knowledgeable & extremely patient, kind & helpful. I even come back for spa day and my nails always look so nice, I even tip toe around the house and scare mom. She didn't hear my nails on the new hardwood floors. I could write a short story on the wonderful care they gave our cat Jack. From his diabetes diagnosis to his death from cancer, they were so good. Not only with his care but with their care and compassion for Jacks "Mom and Dad". Over all my years of being a pet owner, hands down this is the best practice. The care, compassion, understanding, answering of all our questions (going from diabetes to cancer, there were lots of questions) and the genuine love for Jack, makes me know I'll never use another Vet. My cat was sick and a new patient after 2 visits he kept getting worse. Lost weight after $600 at this vet I went somewhere else in Murfreesboro and at 3 years old he had to be put down. I do not recommend any veterinarian in Murfreesboro they do not know how to heal cats. read more

We had the absolute best experience here. Our German shepherd hadn't been to the vet in a couple of years and was having a few allergy issues. The vet and assistance were so informative, kind, and careful. They made sure to make the visit affordable and still ensured we received everything we needed. I love that Stones River is more holistic focused. They offer cold laser, chiropractic, and Standard Process nutritional supplements. My sweet Kiki had to have a very invasive dental procedure and Dr. Lisa Tepp was fantastic. Through, yet kind, and also allowed me to have my own discovery process with the gum disease and decision on surgery. The staff is great from front desk, nurses, and the doctors. read more

9/9/2014 The building inside and out is beautiful and clean. The vets and techs are all friendly and spent time with us and our pets. I am not happy with the cost, additional costs incurred, and the monopoly on their prescriptions. We have a dog that requires prescription food and medication. My previous vet in Virginia provided us a prescription that I could have filled at their office or anywhere else I preferred. Stones River Vet has a policy that does not allow or provide prescriptions to their customers. Clients must have any prescriptions filled at their office. I can get my dog's prescription filled at a much more affordable rate (about 3 times cheaper) through a reputable company online, yet cannot do so under this veterinary policy at Stones River. This will lead me to seek services and care somewhere else unfortunately. 9/15/2014 Stones River Veterinarian called me today to state their prescription policy was mis-communicated to their front office employees and they would in fact allow me to fill my dog's prescription online. (This was not cleared up when I went in there to pick up the prescription which was the 2nd time we discussed the policy, they only said they would price match the online company if I had a printout of the price, which I did not because they didn't tell me on the phone, only when I got there and they wouldn't look it up or print it out for me from their own computer). I am not sure if the policy was mis-communicated or if it was amended, but the vet also emailed me an apology along with some other monetary incentives to continue business with their organization. I am not certain if I will return or not, but the company did at least try to redeem themselves. It's been difficult finding a good vet in this area compared to my last vet in Virgnia who was affordable, honest, clean, friendly, and did not overcharge their clients. I guess they set the bar high for me. read more

We only board our dogs here, but they are very attentive to our geri dog's needs, specifically with her medication and food. They are really nice, helpful and spend time with our dogs frequently while boarded. Although we prefer to have them kenneled at someone's home, where they are allowed to roam free and be a part of their family while we're away (something we haven't found here in Murfreesboro), we feel very comfortable with the care our pups receive while there. Prices are a little on the higher end, but I'd rather pay more for more attention, better care and service, than pick a place based on prices. They also have Saturday and Sunday pick up and drop off hours, which is nice; Sunday hours are more limited and I believe are pick up only, but still nice so they don't have to stay an extra night because it's the weekend. Our dogs will continue to be boarded there unless we find what we used to have in Washington State. read more

They are the absolute best!!! Dr. Tepp and her staff are some of the most wonderful, caring, compassionate people I have ever met. Our dog was very sick with not much time left when we first found Stones River Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Tepp went above and beyond and did everything she could do to take care of our sweet boxer, Ozzy. She was so thorough examining him and running tests, and so good at explaining things to us. He had to stay over the weekend for continual fluids and meds on IV and they called us every morning and every evening to give us an update on him. They also welcomed us to come visit him, allowing us as much time as we wanted with him. When he did come home they continued to call and check up on him daily and were available to answer any and all our questions and helped us as we worked through his illness. Although we eventually lost our dog, they were there with us through it and they all cried with us. They were absolutely the most caring and compassionate people. The facility is very clean and their kennel area is open and very nice. I cannot recommend them highly enough. As long as we have fur babies they will always be taken to Stones River Veterinary Hospital and no where else. read more
