Currently available for takeout only, but the owner and staff were very friendly to us as out of towners. We stayed in Dayton for the weekend and had breakfast from stoney's both on Saturday and Sunday morning. I love strong coffee and theirs was delicious! Had a normal breakfast on Saturday, but honestly, Sundays was fantastic! Definitely try the biscuits and gravy! The biscuits are fried like hush puppies and the gravy has just a little bit of spice. We will definitely be back! Please give these guys a try! read more

Haven't checked to see if we need refills for the hour we've waited thus far. Edit: The food came out in waves, some of us were finished before others got their food. I got the chicken and waffles, I think it would have tasted good if it were cooked right but it was overdone unfortunately. The limp Bizkits were really good and I wish I had got them. This lovable little hole in the wall has had me back in every weekend for the past month. The food is incredible. Everything is hand made to order, and if you sit at the bar you can chat with the owners as they cook for you. I've had absurdly tasty French Toast, wonderful eggs and bacon, and great hash bowls. The best things are absolutely the deep-fried biscuits and gravy, and the chicken and waffles. They play music, but just enough so that you can hear it. It's easy to carry on a conversation without any trouble. It's become my favorite breakfast spot in Dayton. Fiance and I wanted to try something new and we had heard about this place and that it was pretty good. We got there and set ourselves in a tiny little dining area in front of the window. We like to people watch, so we were completely fine with this. We were greeted by who I assume was the owner, a nice gentleman who was willing to help us make choices but we were pretty set with the mac and cheese and the chicken and waffles. My fiance is a chicken and waffle fanatic and he said that this place had the best he had ever had, which says a lot. I liked them but not really my thing. The garlic aioli was so good I could drink the stuff. I had the mac and cheese and it was fantastic but interestingly was even better after I got home and warmed it up. Definitely would go back and want to try their biscuits and gravy. The gentleman also suggested the hot sauce "PINK DEATH" to have with the mac. Alone it was a little sweet but was a perfect accompaniment to the mac. Weird but delicious. I 100% suggest coming here for some good cooking and fun vibe! read more
