The seafood platter had two flounders, about 4oz each (we had ours fried), 4 shrimp (we had ours grilled with lemon pepper), four crab bites (fried). Because it was a platter, he got seasoned fries, cole slaw, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. Everything tasted home made with these sauces and was delicious. I recently coordinated the food for our company's annual summit. This year, there were 13 of us, sharing multiple meals together. I reached out to the team at All About Churros to cater a lunch service for us. While I had experienced the wonderful food and service at their truck, much of our New Bern staff, and none of our remote staff, had had the pleasure. The AAC team put together a wonderful spread of Street Corn and a variety of Empanadas. And, of course, a delectable Churro tray. I should also note that they put all of the corn toppings on the side, so people could customize how spicy they wanted it. The entire experience from top to bottom was great! All of my team LOVED the empanadas - several of our staff had never even had one! I think more of the New Bern staff will be seeking out the truck in the future. We coordinated easily over email, and the team was able to easily accommodate our allergies (Tree Nuts and Strawberries). The price was more than reasonable, and the team delivered it to our office directly and right on time! I would definitely consider using them in the future for catering a gathering like this as well.

I am beyond angry. We came here straight from the beach because a local gluten free group would not…read morestop raving about this place. As the mother of a gluten free toddler, and gluten free myself, I trusted that recommendation completely. I will never make that mistake again. Walking in, the place was flat out disgusting. A trash can shoved directly under the soda machine, jammed against a booth, flies swarming around it like nobody had cleaned in days. FLIES. Next to the soda machine. The only open table and booths were dirty. Like, more than crumbs. We should have walked straight back out the door but we didn't, because we were exhausted and had a 3 hour drive home, and we thought, "How bad could it be?" Incredibly bad, it turns out. The "gluten free" crust was thin, flimsy, and burnt around the edges. And the aftermath has been brutal. My toddler and I have both been glutened so badly we are sick, in pain, and completely wiped out the day after what was supposed to be a fun family trip. Instead of beach memories, I'm nursing my kid through cramps and misery because this place could not be bothered to handle allergen prep or basic cleanliness properly. If you have celiac disease or a real gluten allergy, stay far away from this place. Whatever cross contamination is happening in that kitchen is dangerous, not just inconvenient. I don't care how many people recommend it, the risk is not worth it. We will never go back, and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid it too.
