Overall: Painfully slow kitchen. My family tried breakfast a month ago and it took 1 hour 7 mins for pancakes, breakfast burrito, chicken fried steak. However, when the food arrived the quality of our breakfast was great. So, we decided to try it for a second time today for lunch. It took 1 hour 17 mins to get a burger, grilled cheese and turkey sandwich. The food was good. The waitress taking care of us was very attentive and was apologetic due to the long wait. In conclusion, if you have a lot of time to wait for descent food go here, if you are on a timeline or have hungry children look elsewhere. read more

OMG SO GOOD! The rib eye dip was the best French dip sandwich I ever had. It was served *promptly* and blazing hot with a perfectly soft yet crusty French roll and tender thin cut beef. The au jus was rich and flavorful and the side of fries were perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. The waitstaff were pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere was comfortable. And the price point was very modest. A great meal at what I'm sure will become a regular hang out for me. read more

My husband and I have tried this place twice and both times ended up disappointed. What really sent me is the chicken wings that I ordered were served with feathers still attached which you can see from the photos attached. The most unappetizing experience i have ever had in a restaurant. My husband got the grilled pork chop, it tasted like it should have been in an elementary school cafeteria. So happy to see a place like this open in Mountain Home! There's not much available in this town so we weren't sure what to expect. As soon as we walked in we were very pleasantly surprised with the ambiance and decor. We were also impressed with the service and food. We had the Walnut Apple Salad, Ribeye Dip, and Chicken Fried Steak, and everything was delicious and presented beautifully. We had a nice visit with the owner Keith who was very gracious, and shared his vision with us, of creating a unique and pleasurable dining experience in our small town. We have been to Stoney's Restaurant three times. (First Time) It was opening night so Giving grace...my burger & two kids meals took Three Hours; this was Covid times so the Restaurant was half full. My burger was extremely over cooked & my fries were skinny frozen ones. Our food was comped. The second time we came for Breakfast. It took over an hour twenty minutes and the Spanish Omelette was burnt & my French Toast was flavorless. The third time (today) our food took 45 min, not too bad...but one person in our party received their food late so we all had to wait. I also never received my soup, then was told they forgot to warm it (the soup) and wasn't going to serve it anymore. My Chicken Fried Steak Mashed Potatoes & Frozen Vegetable Medley were disappointing. All looked and tasted bland like frozen food. So badly want this place to be good. My friend's burger was chewy & crunchy. One star for atmosphere. Please work out the kinks and no frozen food . read more

I am so sorry that I didn't take pics of our food. This place is delicious. You have to start off with the onion rings. Perfect ratio of onion to batter. Even our little kids that don't like onions ate them. The burgers were fantastic and we had the Caesar salad and the Stoneys salad and they are super fresh and huge. The ranch dressing is delicious. That's always a big thing in our family to eat good ranch dressing. We got a vanilla shake to go and it was delicious. We are so happy that we decided on this place while driving through town. It's very clean and we seen employees cleaning. The ambiance is great. The best part was that we had excellent service from Yasmine. Shout out to the management for picking such a great person to be apart of their staff. She offered helpful advice to us and was very knowledgeable about the menu and very personable. This was our first time trying this place and it will be our last. We ordered breakfast and waited over 2 hours and our food still had not come. Our server said they had a glitch in the system, so we waited some more. When our food came my daughters was cold. So we ask to talk to a manager, she told us the reason it took so long is they forgot to turn our order in. She said she was sorry about us waiting over 2 hrs and that the food was cold but did not even offer to warm anything up and she could comp the food but we couldn't eat any of it. What kind of manager handles things this way. A bit later the sever comes a says she wants to pay for our meals. We say no we will pay and we did. whoever owns this place needs a better manager.The food was not good and service was even worse. We will not eat here again. read more
