Honest, upfront, effective, and great empathy shown throughout the process, particularly from Vance (who was one of the on-site people working on my home, alongside his awesome colleague Manny)! More detail: After reading reviews and reaching out in the beginning, I heard back from Daryl virtually immediately, and he was very helpful in determining next steps. I appreciated that he rightly focused on evaluating the recurring flooding and mold growth by encouraging me to firstly address the root of the issue, otherwise any work done regarding mold would merely be temporary. So, after "Tetris-ing" some other needed steps to fall into place, I reached back out and the process began. Vance came out to my home and did his initial evaluation, and while I had let the situation get out of hand and was visibly struggling with dealing with the situation, he noticed this and was both realistic and reassuring in his interactions with me. This was a common theme throughout, and after multiple days of mold remediation and removal, I was thoroughly impressed with how Vance, Manny, and co. were in every aspect of this project. This applies to their efficacy in completing the job effectively, which is not a walk in the park, as well as in their ability to communicate as noted above. (With regard to value: I honestly don't get tons of quotes for this kind of thing as a pastime, so I don't have much to compare it to. What I will say is that I tend to have a reasonably accurate Spidey-Sense™ for pricing of a whole bunch of stuff in general, and everything always felt very reasonably priced for the physically and mentally-demanding work entrusted to the crew.) Because of RRR, I got to say goodbye to the mold, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone. This is the first review I've written for anyone ever online, and I've done more than a few revolutions around the sun. That's how well they did. One final shout-out to everyone with the team: Daryl, Nick, Manny, and Vance!!!

The cleanup crew was out within 24 hours and had the issue mitigated. Vance was awesome and very friendly. The crew to fix the damage was out the start of the next week and repaired the same day (I forgot the gentleman's name but also very friendly).. A few weeks later a neighbors fridge water line failed causing water to leak into my kitchen. I called the same team who fixed my bathroom, this time they were out within 3 hours to assess damage. The next day a crew was out to mitigate, with repair morning after. When you have to do this work it's very stressful, especially when you lose part of your kitchen for a time. But the RRR crew was great to work with, patient with my questions, and accommodating to requests (including wearing masks as I had a 2-week old newborn at home). I've used another service (CWF) and did not have the same experience at all.

I was never told my built-ins would be completely removed, I only discovered it after the fact. Had I known, I could have arranged for proper removal, but instead they were torn out in a way that left them unsalvageable, costing me thousands to replace. Afterward, the company pointed to the notes fine print rather than acknowledging the lack of communication. If you use them, insist on a clearly explained scope of work. If you rely on professionals to help you navigate confusing home repairs, like myself, these aren't your guys. Update to response: First, I want to be clear that I don't believe Adam or the company ever acted with any intent to mislead me or cause harm. I think this situation came down to a lack of communication that unfortunately left me in a difficult position. About 90% of what Adam said in his response is true, but none of it directly addresses my actual concern. The real issue is whether the company made sure I fully understood the scope of work. Perhaps Adam thought... what idiot would not see it was obvious that the entire built-ins would need to be removed? Hi... it's me, I'm the idiot and truly I had no idea. I thought only a portion of my ceiling would be affected. Given the huge difference between what I understood and what actually happened, I believe the company should have explained this much more clearly. Like many homeowners, I rely on professionals to explain the scope of work in plain terms. I think that's a reasonable expectation. Adam is correct with my quote below but he left out the part where I explained that my issue was solely that I didn't know the built-ins were being removed. This was never clearly communicated to me, nor was I given the opportunity to remove them properly myself. Because of that, I feel my ability to make informed decisions was taken away. I only reached out to Adam directly later, after another contractor told me the closet could have been saved and that the removal was "unnecessarily destructive." Whether that's true or not, I'll never know. because I wasn't given the chance to find out. To clarify, the note about the built-ins wasn't hidden in "fine print," but it was only mentioned once in the "Other Notes" section. It was never discussed verbally, by email, or over the phone, and it wasn't included in the detailed action items. I don't think a single mention buried in a notes section qualifies as meaningful disclosure, especially when no one pointed it out or explained its implications. Perhaps Adam does. Lastly, the other points raised, like the quality of the closet materials, water damage, or insurance support, are not relevant to my concern. My issue has always only been about the lack of clear communication regarding the scope of work. Thank you.

The young man and young lady were extremely efficient and would not stop until they were satisfied. Gave me instructions on what to do after they left. They respond to your concerns very quickly at first, but after that, everything slows down. You constantly find yourself repeating the same information, and many of your questions go unanswered. They're also extremely expensive. My mitigation alone was around $27,000, and they subcontract much of their work to other companies without telling you until the last minute. You hire them expecting them to advocate for you with your homeowners insurance, but you end up doing most of the work yourself. It often feels like they're more focused on making money than providing good customer service. The quality of the work was poor, and instead of taking responsibility for mistakes, they somehow try to put the blame back on you. Recently, I had another contractor come out to give me estimates for a few projects I want to complete after everything is finished. When he found out I had worked with CWF, he shared a story with me. He said CWF once contacted him for a quote on a job, and he estimated it at $900. According to him, CWF later told the homeowner the same work would cost $20,000. The homeowner eventually started calling around, reached that contractor directly, and realized it was the exact same job and estimate. He told me he's seen similar situations before. I could go on with more examples, but the list is long. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend looking for another company.
