Brad and his crew made moving day go super smooth, he was extremely responsive to all of my texts in the days leadings up to our move, and on the day before our move (which happened to be my birthday) told me to stop stressing and go enjoy my day! I took him up on that and walked away from our chaotic house for the day and when they arrived the next morning, all went off without a hiccup. 10/10 recommend. They may not have been the cheapest option, but they were by the best option for us. So professional, not a single issue with damage etc., worked quickly and efficiently. Brad had came to our house a week or so prior to our move to give us quote and when we settled up at the end of our move, our total was significantly less the quote. How often does that happen? It was late afternoon by the time I called Aaron. Even though it was after business hours and I'm sure he was exhausted from other jobs that day, he rounded up a crew and came over. They emptied my apartment and storage unit and did a great job loading my trailer despite the disorganized state of our storage unit. They were cheerful, honest and worked hard. We hired them through U-Haul, and only needed a few hours with 2 people. We are in our sixties and have moved several times. We had already emptied out most of the storage unit, and just needed help with about 5 pieces of heavier items. We had a truck reserved for the morning, and planned to have Helping Hands load, unload, and take those few pieces upstairs in our new home. The day before, the coordinator called and insisted we didn't have a big enough truck (we did) and we needed more people and time (we didn't). First, he said we needed 3 people for at least 6 hours; then he said they had another job for the afternoon and couldn't give us 3 hours. Then he said he wouldn't do the job because it "didn't meet his expectations." This was on a Thursday at 4:00 PM. We needed someone for Friday morning, as the truck was already reserved. Then on Saturday morning, the coordinator called and said they were on their way to help move (wrong number?) We had 2 friends who volunteered to come. We had the 5 heavy pieces and much of the rest of the unit loaded, unloaded and put into place within 2 1/2 hours. I would NEVER recommend this company for any service.

The mistake I made was not telling them in advance about an extremely heavy item but they were understanding and even though I had to pay a little extra it was well worth it. Apparently it's in the contract to tell them about such items but I did not let them know. They were still so professional and I would hire them again in a minute for any type of moving. On moving day, they canceled at the exact hour they were supposed to arrive. No backup, no solution, just a list of random companies. When I told them I couldn't find anyone and asked for their help to call around, they stopped responding to my texts.
