Let me be clear: my review is accurate, and it's disheartening that Yelp removes negative reviews simply because the business disputes them. I'm still searching for the text messages from employees that confirm our deals, and I hope they're still in my cloud storage. I'm in the process of moving, called a few places. And this was the only place that was very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and understanding of our situation. They even offer a truck to move your stuff in for you on the weekends. The storage units are great because you pull up and drop off. Very clean and safe place to store you valuables. So not to long ago I paid a certain amount then the following month they raised the rent which I didn't know because I had received no email, call, nor a text called to make a payment and told me a different price my reply was "what?!..wait how come I wasn't told about this"??? I can't say enough good things about this place especially the manager Martin! I booked two large storage units because I was about to get a whole 40ft container worth of inventory for my business delivered. On a whim I asked Martin if he knew people I could hire to unload the container once it got here. He totally went out of his way to help me find some people and even helped direct the driver to maneuver a semi truck into the facility. He's super friendly and helpful. The facility is also fairly priced. You can't go wrong with this storage facility. You can rent with peace of mind that you'll be taken care of! read more

Chris and Martin are always helpful and nice. Been in this place for many many months and honestly is not the newest facility ... but they keep it clean and are very helpful. when I needed to be in a different area because my large van was cumbersome... they did it in a snap... I was happy I didn't have to wait to be moved. they assigned me another one so fast... I've had a storage in another place and It got so hot in the summer indoors ... then I moved to another one and it was a nice facility, but the workers there were so rude and their rules were unfair... anyway, I'm glad I'm here and recommend this place for short term or long term. read more

This place is awesome! If you are looking for a storage place for your Biola student or even if you don't have a student and just need storage then stop looking and get a storage unit here. The staff they have there are very friendly and helpful. They have everything you need...free water when you need a break moving your stuff in...a bathroom... locks... and they gave me a free box too!! It was simple reserving my unit online and it took only 5 minutes to check me in / sign the form when I arrived. The unit was clean and ready when we arrived. I also found out they have a service where they will transport your students stuff to Biola in their truck for free! Bottom line is I'm a very happy parent and our daughters stuff is good to go for the summer! read more

Paid for one year up front last year, and rent was coming due in Jan 2011, wanted to re-new for another year and when I called to get pricing the employee named Chris answered and was VERY rude to me. I had my credit card in hand ready to re-new my storage for another year, (paying up front again -which means guaranteed payment for a year) and I was told off by this employee. He told me "Mam don't talk to me like you know me! YOU DONT KNOW ME!" and even told me to take my storage else where if I don't like his service! Shocked at the way he was talking to me and yelling at me, I asked for a manager and he said he was in charge and would not give me any other information. So I got on the website and called corporate and one of the managers called me back and said he was very very surprised to hear that Chris spoke to me this way and was going to do everything in his power to keep me at this storage facility. He told me he needed to talk to Chris and then he would get back to me. (he promised to call me back the same day) Of course I never got a call back from this manager, luckily for me he called me from his personal cell phone so I had his number and called him back and left him a message. When he called me back he wasn't very nice this time either, he told me he spoke to Chris and said "he gave me a completely different story than you" -first off, why would he tell me this? He knew it would make me upset... and secondly-did he really think his employee would tell him what he did? After him going on for a minute or two I told him I wouldn't feel safe there any longer since Chris would still be there, and the fact that he knows who I am and that I complained, and rather than insuring me it would be ok, he told me "well you have to do what you have to do!" so guess what! I did what I had to do, I got my stuff and moved out to a cheaper storage in less than a week later. Plus I am saving over $250 now! BEWARE OF THIS STORAGE FACILITY, THEY CONSTANTLY LEAVE THE FRONT GATE OPEN FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO WALK IN OR DRIVE IN AT ANY TIME. -APPARENTLY THE CODES THEY GIVE YOU FOR THE GATE DONT MATTER. read more

Been renting a space from A American Self Storage for about 5 months now. Overall, I'm fairly happy with it. It was, by far, the best price I found for an 8x10 unit on the ground level. Office manager was friendly. The downsides are that the unit wasn't as nice as other places. However, its storage. It doesn't need to be "nice." Also, it's not the most convenient location, but since I don't go there all that often, it'll do. read more

I was looking for a storage place around town and after getting prices all over the area I settled on American Storage because they had the best price around and locked in my pricing for 6 months! I disliked other places that would quote me promotional pricing for the first month and every other month was sky rocketed! This place gave me a great rate and the pull up storage was a bonus. This is my favorite storage place EVER!! Mr. Christian and Mr . Martin are so nice so helpful they are the best. Me and my husband have 2 storage there right there right now and we just moved out of one. We rent there often and I know my stuff is safe and never have to worry about anything. I always always recommend my friends to go and see Christian cause I know for a fact that he will take care of my friends. So when my girlfriend told me she had a bad experience I was in shock . And I told her I know for a fact it wasn't anything that Christian or Martin did and she told me no not them. It was that white guy Troy . He was the one the was rude to me and rushed us when he came to pick up my things when I was moving out of my apartment. I felt so bad cause I told her that everyone there was awesome. I feel that u need to get someone else in there that is friendly to the customers and he Troy was rude to my girlfriend who knows who else he (Troy) has been rude too.
