They were able to get me a storage unit that was the perfect size. Easy location to reach and the manager was very accommodating. She even let the movers start unpacking while she and I were still signing paperwork. She was super helpful, very nice! read more

- Overall: Great overall services as well as amenities. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, still my first choice. - About me: Long time customer, going on 10 years here at SH2. Have rented units all my life at different storage areas in the bay (Alameda, SF), and out of state (WA, TX) due to my military affiliations, work gear I require, and hobbies I pursue. - Manager Fred Miller is a super friendly, approachable, and helpful individual who lives on grounds 24x7 and always actively maintaining the facilities and ensuring all is well on grounds. The best manager above and beyond compared to the 2 other previous that I've seen since I've been renting here that barely met expectations. Fred is always in good spirits and greets you jovially every time. - Amenities: Everything works properly at all times, grounds are super clean, and most importantly I feel totally secure my stored items are safe. The whole time I have rented here I haven't seen any sketchy individuals that are tenants or roaming around where I'd be worried my unit may be broken into, mainly people who store items associated to their businesses. Not only are the people they rent to here seem decent from what I can tell, but I've been assured there is little tolerance for problem people if they make it in and cause problems. They have periodic roving security patrols that I have seen a few times but not overdoing it where you feel you are being surveilled constantly. There are high def cameras around grounds and the perimeter seems pretty secure. I haven't seen too many pests on the grounds or in my unit and they seem to have periodic pest control services. There are some occasional long legged spiders or flying little bug (and I'm sure the rare mouse or two) that may make it around understandably for an outdoor storage facility, but definitely not overwhelming and reasonable and the few that try to get into my into my unit get stuck with glue traps I have along the door which seems to do the trick, nothing major. I haven't seen mice around either. Office hours are okay (0900-1700) with Sun-Mon closed. Gate hours are pretty good as well (0600-2030) and they have a convenient exit you don't have to stop and painstakingly key out again with. - Prices are decent and seem fair for the space you get, not dirt cheap but definitely not overboard as some in the surrounding areas in the bay. I'm realistic in understanding that running a business properly have costs associated. I rent a 5x10 space for $93 a month. They have the standard automatic bill pay, online bill pay, or can have the bill mailed to you and they will mail you a receipt back which I like for tax purposes. - Room for improvement: As with anything there is room for improvement although just a little here that can be easily fixed. The ambient lighting could be upgraded to be a little brighter, the wood floors in the units create dust I believe and would be nice if there was some kind of hard flooring and finally and most importantly, the unit doors could use dust and pest covers to limit the wind blowing them into the units from under. Not the end of the world and probably irrelevant to some, but just some helpful critique in my opinion. Other than that, I'm okay with all else. read more

Great storage facility convenient to U-Haul and the freeway. Nice units, clean, safe and well priced. I have a staging business, am in and out constantly. Things I appreciate most: 1. Fred, the manager. Super helpful and always smiling. His focus is clearly to offer great customer support. Hope management appreciates this! I do! 2. Automatic gate opening on exiting ( my last unit in Novato I had to get out and put in a code.) When you go in and out as often as I do- it all adds up! 3. They're installing security cameras. The manager, Fred is the best. Very attentive and responsive. Clean units and surroundings. Very safe. I've rented other places, and didn't feel very safe personally or for my belongings. Only comment is that I need more space!!! read more

I have been dealing with Fred Miller, the manager of Storage House 2, for as long as I can remember having our office files stored in their facility. Since this is the final month that we will need to store our medical files, I couldn't leave before complimenting both Fred and the owner of Storage House 2 for choosing Fred as their Customer Service Representative. Fred is always friendly, polite and yet very professional in his dealing with the public. He couldn't be more courteous and attentive to the needs of his customers. I wanted both the owner of Storage House 2 and Fred to know how very much we have appreciated Fred's assistance over the years. Awesome location and reasonable prices. I have been with SH II for 7-8 years and just rented a 2nd unit. The units with role up doors are great if you need access often. Quiet, safe setting, immaculately clean. New manager, Fred is the best! Anything you need he's on it immediately, he's also friendly and professional. Really takes ownership. I have gone through 3 managers. Hope Fred stays a while. Lots of changes since he took over...they have actually joined the world of technology which makes everything so much more convenient for the tenants. read more
