Avoid This Location -- Dishonest Staff and Zero Accountability…read more I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at the Public Storage on Becker Ln in Scottsdale, all thanks to an employee named Deja. As a professional locksmith, I lost the keys to my personal lock (purchased from Public Storage) and was verbally given permission by Deja to access my unit by picking or cutting the lock if needed. Despite my skill, the awkward placement made picking difficult, so I carefully cut one of the two latch holes -- not the door or the lock itself -- and gained access. The next day, I returned to find an overlock on my unit. Deja now accused me of "vandalizing" the latch, charged me $95 in "damages," and told me I had to vacate the unit. This, despite her having authorized the very action she now pretended never happened. She clearly overstepped, and when it backfired, she twisted the story to protect herself. When I calmly returned to dispute the charge and remind her of her own words, she changed the subject and played the "you made me uncomfortable" card -- a tired, baseless excuse to deflect accountability. If I had truly been aggressive or threatening, why wasn't security involved? Why wasn't a report filed? Why not pull the security footage? Because she was lying. Corporate and the district manager were no help -- they blindly took Deja's side and justified the $95 fee by claiming the latch was replaced. That was a lie. When I returned to vacate the unit (as ordered), the original latch was still there and fully functional. No repair was ever done. To add insult to injury, my access code had been disabled -- an hour before closing -- until corporate gave me a new one. More petty behavior, likely designed to block me from discovering that no repairs had been made. This experience made it painfully clear: this location enables unprofessional behavior, protects dishonest staff, and punishes customers who speak up. Deja showed zero integrity, and her management backed her lies instead of investigating the facts. If you value transparency, professionalism, and basic fairness -- avoid this place at all costs. **A footnote regarding the ridiculous 5 star reviews on this page: I'm sure all these customers just couldn't wait to get out their phones and leave shining all star reviews for this person, Deja, and every customer amazingly and coincidentally made sure to mention her by name in every single 5 star review. Either she is the single greatest customer service agent in the history of customer service or these customers all received a discount of some kind in exchange for leaving a positive 5 star review and including Dejas name. I'm not going to give my opinion on which scenario is the correct one, but I'll leave it up to you, the reader, to decide. I'm sure you'll come to the correct conclusion just as I did. Its a violation of Yelp TOS to give discounts or compensation of any kind in exchange for positive reviews, but that's okay, you can see in every bought review, again her DM replies and backs her shady practices. Shame on you Public Storage. I expected more from a corporation of your size.

I started renting here in September 2025 and had issues at the very beginning. Money was taken off…read moreof my card but the facility said it didnt go through on their side. I had to wait until my bank dropped the money back to my account. After that, I signed up for automatic bill payment in October 2025 to pay my bill every month. In November 2025, I got an email saying that my payment didnt go through. I called my bank and was told that nothing had been presented for payment from CubeSmart. December comes and the same thing happens and CubeSmart said they billed me for over $400 and I called the store and complained because my bank kept saying that no payments were being presented. I had to send them copies of my bank statements to show that there were no transactions from CubeSmart. I ended up taking off work to go into the store to pay in person. I was assured that everything was fixed and there shouldn't be any other problems. I got no calls or texts in January or February, 2026 but this past Monday, I got an email notification that a verification code was sent to me for my CubeSmart account which made me go and log into my account on the app. I saw that I had a past due balance and I couldn't pay online. They also had removed my automatic payment method. I called the office and the district manager and got no answer so I ended up calling the corporate office where I was told that my property was auctioned off due to non-payment. I told the representative that I hadn't gotten any calls or texts and I had called the office and the district manager and got no call backs. The representative informed me that they sent an email on January 26th about the payment and then removed the account from automatic payment. She also told me that the rate had gone up. I informed the representative that no payments had been presented to my bank and this had happened before and CubeSmart said it was fixed. I also told her that removing my payment method without informing the customer is illegal and no notices was sent to me by mail or email about the rate increase, payment being missed, or the auction. Most companies send this by email as well and theres no notifications of that in my email. She took my complaint and told me that the regional manager would call me back. I told her that I was filing a complaint with the BBB and the Arizona Attorney General because this is so unfair to do to customers and steal their belongings.

13851 N. 73rd Street Scottsdale, AZ.: Where to begin?…read more First the constant rent increases. I am now paying almost $400 a month for a 10 x 15 outdoor unit without climate control. The price I started at was about 1/4 this cost. I called to talk to management about the price gouging and the call was answered by Christian. I asked what a unit would rent for today. On the site I believe the rents are between $130 and $170. He said the rents go up and down. Mine has never gone down even though anyone renting today would be paying about 1/3 of the cost. I am paying. This is how they reward long-term customers! When I asked Christian to quote me a price for someone new renting today, I was put on hold for 30 minutes. This is how they evade questions from loyal customers. So disrespectful. Obviously evading the question. When I hung up and called back, of course no one would answer. Be clear, I have a job that I am also working during the day and do not have time to play childish games. Great customer service for a company that supposedly won the customer service of the year award. Next, let's talk about the fact that they changed the door in my storage unit without contacting me first. They also let workers from outside of the unit change my door without any supervision from anyone on the site, which is required. When I said, so there's a possibility that things are missing from my storage unit, they could not confirm whether there was or not. Mind you I am out of state and that is why I need a storage unit. I would have to travel across the country to look. they are required to let me know anytime they do something like this ahead of time and did not. My advice is for anyone looking into storage not to use this company or deal with Christian In Scottsdale, AZ. This company preys on people.

I really wish I knew the young lady at the fronts name but after reading all these reviews on the…read moregreat service they had from a lady named Sherri working the front... I'm going to assume that's her. The first time I came in to rent the unit she was extremely helpful and I feel like that isn't a common thing around here. I commented to my friend who helped me move in that I must write a review about her.... Well being as how I was moving it slipped my mind at the time. But again today I went in the pay my bill and she was just so sweet and carries her self very well. I've rented from other public storage places before and she has definitely made this place stand out in my mind by far!!! THANK YOU!

First of all, you rent units that are listed at this address, that are NOT even located at this…read moreaddress. You don't bother to give the address of where the rest of the units are. The other address on 71st hidden way back off an alley behind whattaburger off Thomas road. Then those indoor units aren't even climate controlled. After speaking to many people not one person said to me, hey the unit you just paid for isn't at the address it says it is and not only that, they're 104 degrees inside and it gets hotter and stuffier the further into the indoor units, the hotter it is. There's not even fans to move air around. Then when you finally find it you can't get the gate code cuz there's no kiosk to finish the process. I was told to go to Pima rd location . It was almost 9 and it needed to be done no later than that i was told so I could get the code and use the 24hour access I paid 35.00 and put my stuff in there. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it . So I called customer service and as it got to be just minutes away from 9:00 I just needed the guy on the phone to tell me where the kiosk was. As I'm talking to him and explaining the situation while walking as quickly as I could to an area it might be, he kept asking for the address where I was . I told him Pima rd in Scottsdale. That was not good enough. I said I don't know the address. He wanted me to find the address for him. I told bim sir, I'm I'm using my phone to speak to you while walking over to another building: he again said he needed the address. I kept telling him I don't know, but it's the only one on Pima rd in Scottsdale. But he kept repeating it as I'm totally tryin to walk and talk to him. I don't have time stop and swipe my call with him to do a damn google search. I said to him, you work for public storage. You find it. That's your job! Then he asks me for the zip code.... 3or 4 times consecutively and before he begins to repeat it each time I attempt to answer him .. he asks for zip code not allowing me to answer me because he kept doin that instead of letting me answer him. After the 4th time i finally was able to say full zip code. Then he says, that location doesn't have a kiosk! The way he said it was very accusatory as if I'm a dumbass for being there. I told him i was told that's the location to go to. He says , anything else I can help you with ? I said yes, tell your boss I said you do not belong in customer service and thx a lot for making my night harder than it needed to be. The next day I ask for a transfer but I didn't get it in time to be able to unload the truck so my stuff was taken to a friends storage unit in mesa- not at all convenient. Meanwhile the one on 71st not 70th wants me to pay money for rent that's past the 30 days I already paid for and don't even have a unit to use yet. I was told that there's no obligation to rent for more than a month. Well that's not true . Unless you move in on the 1st, you will have to pay for amount of days left in that calendar regardless whether you paid from the 25th to the 25th you will also have to pay an extra for those 5 days . Long story short, they wanted me to pay for the last 6 days of July even before I moved in and after I already paid for a month before they would transfer me

5.30.26 - This review is for the Wellness Reset event by Pilattes Wellness located on the very top…read moreof the Purple parking garage at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. It's a 45 min mat pilates class taught by Abby and Melanie. May 30th was their last rooftop class for now until it gets cooler out again. My cousins happened to find the event and 4 of us joined since there was a 2 for 1 deal (about $11 each!). It was my first time taking a mat pilates class and I loved it, minus the burning sun part. If this were in spring or fall, it would be perfect! I parked one below in the shade and as soon as I walked up, I could already hear the music the dj had on and it was just my kinda music. Surrounding the grass area were different vendors including Starbucks, a matcha bar, skin care, tarot, gummies, protein bars, bread and cookies, women's health, massages, IV shots, health coaching and merch. The details of the event didn't say to bring our own mat so two of us forgot to pack one. Luckily, the instructors had a bunch of extras for anyone who forgot. They also provided bands for everyone. Those bands killed us. You'll feel the burn the next day. In fact, my whole body was sore for a few days and I started feeling it already that same night. After the class ended, we browsed the vendors. I purchased some gummies (hair/nails and energy), had a quick tarot reading done, grabbed some freebies and 2purchased matchas. Would love to take more mat pilates classes in the future
