Alright, here goes... I feel the need to update my review as I did not know how it worked the first time I parked here before a flight out. Take ntoes!! The first time I came here, I must have pulled a ticket from the machine going into the facility instead of scanning the barcode on the email that was sent to me when I made my initial reservation. Soooo, that led me to pay for a full day when I tried to exit. I don't remember actually pulling a ticket because I scanned my barcode when I went in. I guess omw out of the facility is when I pulled the ticket, and I panicked because there was no other way out and there were already 3 cars behind me. I was trapped so I had no choice but to pay twice my reservation cost, around $64 to get out. My second time, I read the email thoroughly and upon reading the response to my initial review from management, that is definitely what happened. Now I know better!! I do like this service as the shuttles come and go it seems every 5 minutes. Once I get to the curb at the airport, a shuttle usually just pulls right up. I don't have to text anyone or wait forever like I've had to do with other shuttles. My car is secured in their outdoor lot where most spots are actually covered, and the walk from the shuttle to my car is very short. The property is well lit and the office usually has an employee at the desk in the lobby area. Be sure to scan that email QR code upon entering and exiting so you don't make the same mistake I did! I've been parking at PreFlight Airport Parking for more than 13 years, and I've had mostly positive experiences with only a few disappointing experiences. I have found that there are plenty of ways to save, reliable safety and security in the parking structure, continuous upgrades to the structure, and good customer service. I remember parking outside with no indoor options, and now there's a nice indoor structure with three levels with different costs along with the outdoor options that are still available. I now park on the second floor of the indoor parking structure (as it protects my vehicle from the sun which won't be the same on the top floor yet there is no difference other than convenience between the first and second floors). There is the lobby with customer service, free water bottles, a restroom, and snacks for purchase, all with two elevators in the west parking area. There is also a west parking area with a lobby that literally is just an elevator area. I always choose for west parking as long as there is available parking in that area. I also appreciate the lobby and the amenities offered there. There are always coupons available whether on its website or in mailings. The website has a great online frequent parker program, which offers free parking days, car washes, or airline miles. I also have a corporate discount card thanks to a partnership that my company has with PreFlight Airport Parking. You can reserve a space online or prepay a reservation ahead of time. To save a couple of dollars, you can redeem a free day or two, then use a coupon for so much off per day. Sometimes they will calculate the full price of the free day or two (before the coupon discount) and then take the discount off the other days. Either way, make sure you give your frequent parker card to also earn more free days. The service is usually quite fast and convenient. I think out of the dozen times I have parked there, I have only waited once for a van when I had just parked and only waited a few times for more than five minutes at the airport on the way home. I guess I could have taken advantage of calling in when I got my luggage instead of trying my luck to ensure they would save a space or wait for me. My biggest frustration was when there was a car blocking the two exit lanes trapping many cars in the garage for more than an hour though they eventually opened a side exit after enough people complained. I'm glad with so many visits to the PreFlight Airport Parking that this was the only very negative experience. The rest have been quite positive or at least above average. I will even be heading there over the next few weeks again. I recommend it! read more

I'm trying a different parking company after multiple issues with the Preflight service shuttle taking too long and not frequent enough to when it arrives and is already full and can't take anyone else. I've had to wait over 35 minutes my last two trips. If this only happened one time it would be different but has happened multiple times in a row. Many other customers waiting were irritated as well. My current business trip I just parked at Sky Harbor East Economy for the same price I was quoted at Preflight and didn't have to wait for a shuttle. The tram was already there and runs every 3 minutes and drops you off at the terminal. I've also had issues with their mobile app and provide detailed screenshots with what is happening and there is never a resolution and I'm always told we will look at it. read more

Made a reservation and had the screenshot of payment and receipt but the email never gave me a barcode or confirmation code so I had to pay a second time upon leaving. Workers were not understanding whatsoever even after showing them the screenshots I took on the website right after making the reservation and paying for it. Avoid this place. Management is bad. I had an issue with my vehicle after a long trip and tried to get some help. The girls at the front desk only the manager could help me. The manager is no where to be found. The manager, Mike B, is a ghost. He is never in the office. The girls at the front desk don't know where he is. Avoid this place!! It is not safe. There are lots of undesirables that hang out in that area. I had my vehicle broken into it at PreFlight Airport Parking. When I tried to reach the manager, (I think his name is Mike) several times with no luck. Email. Phone. Every time I spoke to the front desk employee, I was told he would contact me. I've been using these guys for over 20 years. And while I would have given them a 5 star rating 5 years ago and recommend them to others without hesitation, I'm afraid I don't have that opinion anymore. And I think it comes down to the frequency of their pickup - just doesn't seem as crisp and efficient as it used to be. And while I'm not going to be switching to another vendor anytime soon, I felt like I needed to point out their shortcoming in this department with the hope that I see some improvement. read more

Our flights and travel plans were cancelled. I stopped at the onsite office to request a refund after spending several hours at the airport. The attendant was most helpful and understanding and granted my request. Thanks so much. We have used preflight many times and find it the most convenient location with prompt service. Location was easy enough to find and conveniently located near the airport so not a long travel time from parking to departure or arrival terminals. Cost was about average for the same services at other locations however I didn't contact very many for comparing purposes. However the fees were ok. I did upgrade to the larger/wider parking spots but I'm thinking I never found them as the parking spot I found was about the same sized as for a smaller car. I drive a ram pickup and it makes squeezing into some spots a tad hard. Let's say more than a 3 point turn in the garages. Perhaps better signage could be of use for us older people and whom never used the services before. After parking, they seem to have only one shuttle pickup location in the garage and being in a wheelchair, luggage and whatnot, it makes it kind of tough to get to the shuttle location. After getting there the drivers were all friendly, immediately greeted me and assisted in any way I was needing. So I do appreciate that as other businesses make me wait for the handicapped bus to arrive and they are fewer and farther between. So I do appreciate that ability of not having to wait. After returning to Sky Harbor, meeting up with the return to garage shuttle was pretty easy to find where to go and etc. The shuttles say they get there every 5-10 mins but I think it was longer then that but I was in the hot sun and every minute out in it seemed like an eternity. Haha. I flew back in from Anchorage so there was a few degrees in temp differences. All in all, everything went well with the exception of the parking spots and challenging availability but I can overlook that for this not completely within the garages direct fault. read more

Someone stole our catalytic converter from our Toyota Tundra. I understand that stuff happens! However, still puzzled that someone was able to do the following UNDETECTED! 1) Walk or drive up to the 3rd floor of the parking structure. If they were driving they had to go through multiple pay/scan gates. 2) Use a power saw to cut off our muffler and catalytic converter. 3) Take elevator to lobby or walk down ramp with this huge piece of metal. Totally UNDETECTED! One would reasonably expect some type of surveillance and protection while paying to park here. So they either have a blatant disregard for security or it was an inside job. read more

We have used Preflight Airport Parking PHX several times. Their shuttles run frequently and reliably (every 5-6 minutes), the drivers help you with your baggage, and the covered garage is only a couple of minutes from the Phoenix airport terminal. Booking online and paying in advance is simple and quick. This latest experience, however, cemented our relationship with Preflight for good. We had just returned from a week's vacation and had been up since 3:30 a.m. Central time (1:30 a.m. Phoenix time) because we had to catch an early flight home, so we were understandably worn out by the time we landed in Phoenix at 8:30 a.m. Preflight's shuttle pulled up just as we got to the curb, so their timing was perfect. A few minutes later, we got off the bus only a few steps from our vehicle. Unfortunately, just as the shuttle pulled away, my husband realized he had neglected to grab his backpack from the luggage rack. Of course we wanted the backpack, but the most important part was that the backpack contained our car keys! We alerted the driver of the next shuttle that came along, Natalie G., and told her the name of the driver of the shuttle that had dropped us off (just by chance, I'd glanced up at his license on the dashboard). She said she would radio ahead to him, and he would circle back around in a few minutes. About 20 minutes later, Natalie herself came back around on her next pass and was surprised to see us still sitting there waiting for our original driver. Apparently he had dropped off our backpack at the office and gone on his lunch break (presumably not knowing our predicament with the car keys and assuming we would contact the office to retrieve it). Natalie said, "Wait here. I'll be right back." Before we knew it, Natalie herself had gone to the office, picked up our backpack, and brought it back to us (along with two cold bottles of water because she felt bad that we'd been sitting there so long)! She really went above and beyond the call of duty, considering it was our own fault to have gotten off the shuttle without checking to make sure that we had all of our various belongings. I have no idea how they charge but please be cautious! Supposedly I was charged 12 days @ 11.50 for a total of 138.00 But now see after the fact my credit card was charged 119.50 and then had to pay 72.00 to exit the gate! Total cost was 191.50 which is almost 16.00 a day. There are too many parking options near PHX to put up with this. Drivers are great but I really feel scammed by their misleading charges. BE ADVISED THAT THEY LURE YOU IN WITH A LOW RATE, AND IF YOU RETURN EARLIER THAN ORIGINALLY EXPECTED ON THE RESERVATION THEY WILL STILL CHARGE YOU FOR DAYS YOU ARE NOT PARKED AT THEIR LOCATION!!! The staff is relatively polite, however when you call they all give an attitude as if you're bothering them. I emailed the manager Jay B., directly trying to resolve a simple reservation concern and he did not reply for well over 10 days until I had to email him again with a corporate contact copied. I've used this spot a couple times over the years. It's always good, and *also* has consistently low pricing. Do note that pre-booking it online and paying up front will give the lowest price. Plus then you get a code to scan to get in and out with zero human contact and no wait in line. Shuttles are reasonably spaced out, probably about 15-20 minutes. The drivers seem enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful. You have a variety of choices in parking spots, from full indoors to full outdoors. I usually go with the outside covered spots as they are cheap, but you still arrive to a cool car if you get home during the sunny hours. read more

So, I was going out of town and needed somewhere to park. I read some reviews and noticed my buddy Kevin had reviewed this place. He gave it a solid recommendation, so I looked into it further. I am glad I did! By far and away, the lowest cost, legit parking at/near the airport. I left on a Wed and returned on a Monday (6 days parking for those who don't want to do math). Total was only $32.00! Dirt cheap! I chose the lowest cost option (top deck), but still, even if you park in covered, on floor 1, it's still only another couple bucks a day. Prompt, free shuttle to the terminal, and easy instructions on where to pick up the shuttle to get back. Friendly drivers, and so easy! You just scan your prepaid barcode to get in the lot and when you leave. Couldn't be easier. Will use this place every single time going forward if I need to park somewhere when catching a flight out of town! read more

Great Experience! I don't think I'd park anywhere else when flying out of Sky Harbor. This parking garage is super close and convenient and it was cheaper than most of the other parking areas around the airport. The garage was very clean and easy to find. I felt my car was safe and secure, which gave me peace of mind during my trip. The staff and shuttle drivers were also friendly and professional. I have parked in several different lots over the years but none have been as good as PreFlight. I like that they have larger covered parking spaces so that my car doesn't get dinged up. The shuttle service is responsive and quick. During these Covid times, they put up plexiglass barriers on the shuttles to offer some additional protection, in addition to requiring masks. I've used PreFlight parking for years, but no more. I prepaid for 2 weeks, but had to come back after 7 days due to a medical emergency. I was told that the remaining 7 days would be given to me in points. I didn't mind that since I always used them. What they did do was give me ONLY 1 day in points. They were not honest with me, and it cost me approx. $76.44 in unused parking. My recommendation is to NEVER prepay parking with these people. read more

It was easy to set up. The impossible part was when the airlines canceled my flight at the last minute, I was not able to cancel the reservation prior to the start of the contract. The instructions on the web page do not work and the customer service number is on during business hours Central Daylight Time ONLY. The local number went to background music. As a result, I am out the $100 fee charged. In addition while trying to submit this review, the company blocked it "An error occurred while submitting this form. Pre Flight has the absolute worst customer service and customer care, not just in airport parking, but in any industry. They are worse than unresponsive, they are also surly, condescending and rude. They do not take any responsibility for anything. If they can't blame the issue on the customer, then they deflect it to their Corporate office. Just horrible! Do not park here! I heard back from John W at Pre Flight. He asked me to call Customer Service and gave me an 880 number. I called and got immediate elevator music. I held and held and finally hung up. Unbelievable incident with these clowns. Their system was ok until my return. I had parked on roof and had to use a phone code at several gates on the way down, fine, But the system wanted to charge me an additional $64 at the exit because the computer wrongly said I needed a different code. WTF?!? I told the attendant in the adjacent booth that I had proof I had paid and the reservation confirmed that. Her response floored me: She demanded I pay the new charge - but she couldn't explain what it was for or how their "system" came up with it. Needless to say, that wasn't going to happen. After a couple minutes of arguing, she said she would call her supervisor. Five minutes later she said there was no one for her to talk to and that I must pay. At this point it was just extortion. I told she had to let us out, "Just open the gate!" This went for another few minutes, during which I was considering calling 911 because we in effect being held hostage. I became irate. We had been trapped and delayed for nearly 20 minutes when the attendant got a phone call ... and then just opened the gate. Not just the worst customer service experience I have ever had, it was borderline criminal. Never again. read more

I've used PreFlight since 2012 (before new structure) and they are without doubt THE BEST option for a busy family and business traveler.
