My stuff got moldy due to their lack of maintenance because the whole unit was clearly full of mildew. No refund and all of my stuff ruined. It's sad because I'm just a college student who had to move back home and wanted to get my stuff back to find it all ruined and realized that whole entire area reeked of mildew and no refund.

They lost my bed along with some specialty tools and box of wrench set. How does some one loose a Bed? It shows the incompetence and lack of respect for the clients items. There is no customer service. When I tried to file a claim they provide you a different company number and then they have you wait a few months followed by "sorry we are no longer going to help you " is the result for my attempt to follow the system. Now it's been almost 10 months and I can't' even get in contact with any one. The phone goes to voice mail or it automatically hangs up on you.

By the time we managed to get anything done was just before Christmas. We didn't get completely move out due to holiday plans, then my husbands work schedule, and the weather. we have now been in the hospital since the 31st at midnight. The woman who works there called and asked why our auto payment didn't go through, we told her. She then said that because were wanting to move out she would give us a temporary passcode. If we moved out by end of business day today... Our son is admitted in to the hospital, he would be here right now with his sick son, but no, he's having to deal with this stupid storage unit. We will not be going back, ever, and I will be spreading the word about how we were treated in a time where we NEEDED a little give. The two young men that loaded our truck were very friendly and respectful. However, the loading…read morejob was extremely poor. When we arrived at our destination, the movers who unloaded (also with Two Men and a Truck) stated numerous times how terrible the packing job was. All heavy furniture was placed on top of boxes and totes, completely crushing many of the boxes. We had a damaged wagon, elliptical, sitting room chair set and more. I reported this to the company immediately (while I am only including pictures of one box and one tote, there were many that looked the same). I was offered a $250 refund. I explained that the damage was not the potential fault of the moving vehicle or driver; that had the truck been loaded properly and boxes not crushed by heavy furniture, damage would have been mitigated. This office manager was unwilling to do anything further. Please note- Two Men and a Truck Urbandale does not stand behind their work and if you have damaged items, you have zero recourse. Very unsatisfied with the way this office conducts business and treats their customers.
