prices keep going up without noticeable improvements that would lower insurance premiums. Management is excellent IF you can reach them. Climate controlled storage hallways windowless, very dark- dim lights turn on as you walk- but understand energy conservation- just kind of spooky.. Security an issue so suggest unless you are a big burley guy- go with someone as entry door to climate controlled building is unlocked ( though that is more convenient as you can park right next to the door) Hopefully exterior security cameras are routinely monitored. Gate codes are required to access storage units & there is a tall fence- but unsure about fire sprinklers, etc. read more

Rude folks. Felt like all they wanted was my money hurry up and leave. I asked around and was told some crazy stuff about the currant management team. I watched them during my visit and heard them tag teaming a customer who owed them money like two gangsters from the movie the god father. I exited stage left never to return to that hell hole in the wall. Trash everywhere no bathroom for customers sign said out of order but everything worked because I tested it when I washed my hands. I guess I was lucky it really wasn't broken but I made an educated choice to test toilet flush since the bowl level was normal and the sink wasn't backing up. So what was broken the managements teams will to clean the restroom for customer and slap a sign with some paper towels around the seat like you don't wanna look here. read more

A great self storage place. They have better prices than others in the area. The management is wonderful to work with. We moved our things here from a self storage on Jones. The Jones storage (now owned by Shield Storage), is horrible. When it was sold to Shield Storage, the prices went up, It is always dirty, and one Sunday when we arrived, they had "accidentally" locked us out of the gate and they refuse to turn on the "climate controlled" air even though it is about 100 degrees in there. So we moved our three units to Rancho Lone Mountain Storage. We are so happy we did. It is clean, cool and cheaper. read more

Wow, I was shocked when I read some of the reviews as these reviews are not the experience that I had at all! First off, the picture of the couple is old, they aren't there anymore. On my first visit, I asked if I could use the restroom and the answer was yes, of course. The restroom was clean, smelled great, all of the supplies for a restroom were present and it was nicely decorated. I've interacted with both of the ladies in the office, and I must say, they are both classy ladies. They are very (professional, very nicely dressed (business casual), are very courteous and knowledgeable and have never used any language other then professional. The storage units and the entire grounds are very clean. No trash anywhere. The interior areas are excellent if you are looking to keep art work and furniture in a climate controlled environment. I moved from two storage units to two different storage units. I wasn't really sure what I would need until I unloaded all of my belongings. I was never treated as thought the move to different storage units was a problem. When reading reviews, I have to consider the source. Are these people angry? Did they not get a BIG enough discount? People are always looking to get something for nothing these days. This is a business and it is in fact run in a very professional way. read more

We waited over an hour for this place to open when they confirmed a 9'oclock pick up time via email for our U-Haul truck. They didn't open until ten. Past ten now and we are still waiting for them to open. As a professional courtesy to your customers, honor your opening and closing times, and honor your written word- if you say pick up a truck at 9 am, be here at 9 am to open your doors. Spoke with employee on Sat to check prices and units available and hours of operation on Sunday. We showed up to drop of uhaul and get storage with three other customers were waiting for over an hour. After we spoke to numerous people from uhaul and the answering service for the place we finally left after hour and a half because. No employees ever showed up or came down from the apartment above the facility. You lost a lot of money and I am sure you got a call from your Boss... And probably Uhaul also. I have rented from this Rancho Lone Mountain Mini Storage in the past and had such a great experience, that when I needed storage again, I immediately knew that I would return to this location. The owners are super friendly and helpful and have always treated me like I'm a good friend, rather than just some random customer. Lone Mountain Mini Storage is the only place I will store my belongings, not just because of the outstanding customer service, but because of the security of the location with coded gate and units, but also the video surveillance. Units are clean and air conditioned, the staff is awesome and friendly, and the rates are pretty good... plus, even though my unit is inside like down a hallway, I can back my truck up right outside the door. I cannot tell you how wonderful, polite, informative she was when I called to ask about sizes, rates, etc. After calling several others, where the people who answered the phone were rude or offered no information; there was no question on where I was going to store my things. Everytime I go in to pay, I'm greeted with recognition and professionalism, even when my payment is late.
