Very obvious mold, how was it possible to miss it?

I used to love ordering from this place and enjoyed their baked goods, but sadly got disappointed when I found MOLD on my slice of chocolate mouse cake. I ordered a chocolate mouse cake and had it delivered to my home, and like always the service took less than 30 minutes, so I was very excited to have my treat. When I had opened the box my cake came in, I was shocked to see MOLD on my slice of cake! The cake was upright and there was a very visible piece of MOLD and webbing on top that is nearly impossible to miss! I immediately called the place and made a complaint and the person on the phone was very monotone, it didn't even seem like a big deal to her. She said that she will send the delivery guy back and pick up the cake, but didn't offer any type of refund or apology. Shortly after the phone call, the delivery guy came and asked to see the cake. I showed him the MOLD and all he gave me was a simple "sorry for the inconvenience" and gave me my money back. It didn't seem like a very big deal to these workers that there was MOLD and webbing on the cake and acted as if it was only a slight inconvenience. I'm wondering how long this cake was left out and under what conditions, and how was it even possible to miss it. Considering that we are in COVID times, I am wondering how well they practice safety precautions.

Their Alaskan salmon Cesar salad... no cesar dressing... comes with balsamic vinaigrette... wtf?!?!

I ordered an Alaskan salmon Cesar Salad and when I got my order, I got a salmon salad with balsamic vinaigrette. When I called and spoke to the owner, he told me "Well our salmon Cesar salad comes with balsamic vinaigrette" this is the most idiotic answer I've hear from a restaurant owner! Even under Atlantic Salmon Cesar salad it says "CESAR SALAD with Salmon" For him to tell me their Cesar salad comes with balsamic means this guy does not know what a Cesar salad is. Either Google cesar salad so you know how to make a real cesar salad or change your description to cesar salad made with balsamic vinaigrette (which would never be ordered) this dud was rude, NO ONE ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Horrible burrito. Veggies were supposed to be cooked with egg. Instead we're cold.

Most disrespectful burrito I have ever received (see pics attached ) I thought when you ordered burritos with vegetables they are supposed to be mixed together and at least warm when you receive it. Looks like they chopped a bunch of vegetables together and threw it into the tortilla and then added the egg on the side. Will never order from them again their review on the burrito on eat24 is pretty bad also.

What can one say, but YAY! I recently discovered this place while looking for a good salad to go pick up. Well. Not only do they have great salads, but they deliver! It was a hot Sunday afternoon by the pool and I did not want to cook. After searching around I stumbled upon this "delivery" place, kinda like Pink Dot, and was weary, but more lazy. Me and Hubby ordered a Mile High Club Sandwich and a Cobb Salad... a bottle of Jack and a bottle of wine as well :-D They said 30 minutes, but got here in 20! Both the Club and Cobb were waaay beyond any expectations. Really. The Cobb - $7.49 - Better than Jerry's Deli and 1/2 the price! Tons of real Blue Cheese, almost too much bacon, if there is such a thing, the deli turkey was moist and tasted freshly sliced, a whole hard broiled egg and fresh tomatoes. Oh, and the greens were a nice spring mix. We has ranch dressing. It was great, hugged the food and not watery at all. Yum. The Mile High Club Sammy - $7.49 - Foot long and delish. Fresh baked bread, not too hard, thick or chewy. Filled with fresh deli meats, again with the BACON, perfect amount of dressing, tomatoes and lettuce. Yum. We had originally ordered the salad for me and sandwich for him, but the sammy looked too good, and too big, so we shared it. We were both full! Had to save the salad for later..... again, shared... and full. That's about it. Good food, better than most sit down places for a salad and Club. Great service and EASY. A note to the owners: Great job! Please don't change a thing. Love your business model as well as your execution. (Right word?) Your care shines through. Oh! and I have pictures!!!!

I ordered food through the iPhone app: GrubHub! The delivery gentleman showed up before the ETA given by GrubHub, the food was hot, and the service could not have been friendlier! The actual store is just down the street! YES, how incredibly lazy of me, I know. However after a week of working hard, it was time to do something nice for ME. Comfort food! 1) For tonight: Chicken noodle Soup! 2) Hot Dog Sandwich: for lunch mañana! Oh yeah, and Funyuns... 3) NY bagel sandwich (salmon, red onion rings, cream cheese and capers): for tomorrow's breakfast! -- I think they have a different name for it, but you get the idea... 4) an 8 oz container of garbanzo beans to use with a recently discovered recipe! Guess WHAT? For this particular place, you are able to pay via PAYPAL! Hooray!

When my boss said "you have to go to that liquor store off of Screenland to get a salad", I was like uh no..food from a liquor store,thats not EVEN happening..So she just went and got it for me one day..1/2 of a Cobb salad with Dark greens and spinach on the bottom, then big cheddar cheese slices, tomato, sliced egg, the crispiest best bacon (and i don't even like bacon), a half avocado and deli turkey meat topped off with a side of ranch dressing-i barely even got to the actual salad on bottom for all the stuff on top! Seriously, you cant beat that and for the price. My boyfriend got the green veggie salad the other day and it was huge also-he couldn't even finish it..which is unlike him. They also have wraps, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, fruit trays, cookies and really a whole menu of stuff. This place is a liquor store but they have everything that a convenience/drug store would have too like toothpaste, sodas, band-aids etc..and get this - they deliver! Ahh my new favorite salad lunch take-out place ;) Yay! I tried the turkey sub and it was decent, nothing spectacular. Just your basic lettuce, tomato, meat and mustard spread but they did load it with about an inch of deli turkey meat.

It was hot and I was hungry. I saw that this place had a deli I was in the mood for an Italian sub. Stopped in. First I went to the deli counter to look at the menu. Found what I wanted tried to order at the counter was then told go to the register to order first. Ordered. Asked for light mayo asked for a few other things not on wasn't rude. Was very nice to them. Didn't feel like they really were friendly. Not rude just not much to say. Anyways got the sandwich thanked them. Finally got around to eating it. It's meat wasn't sliced thin. It was over stuffed. I felt there wasn't love put into making it. Most places slice only half the bread not slicing all the way through. This was sliced all the way through which made everything fall out :-/. Flavor wasn't bad just wasn't great. Overall I'd like to just let them know via this yelp review so that maybe they can make improvements not trying to tear anyone down. read more

It is a shame that successful owners dont have the same loyalty as the people who got them there. The reviews all over yelp, facebook...say awful service...hours for deliverd for the past 3 months and clealy the same staff are there. After waiting an hour and a half to get melted Rum Raisin Ice cream when I ordered Coffee, I was told that they couldn't have delivered Rum Raisin ice cream because they dont carry it. To make it worse in order to get what I paid for, I had to email a picture of the ice cream before they would replace it. Lol I couldn't make up a story this crazy if I were paid to. I don't appreciate being inferred to as a liar much less a thief for a $4 ice cream especially when I paid over $8 in tip/delvery for the wrong order!!! Even if I was lying suck it up you morons, it was ice cream that took hours to get you learn that in business 101. Not to mention the loyaty, I was there when they opened in Burbank. I used them 2-3 times a week. It seemed like there was only one man doing it all. He knew me by voice, my name and brought me off the menu homemade soup and dinners he made until I moved to Valley Village. After a year there they opened a location that would drlicer there and I was a regular again 3-4 times a week. I turned on several friends to them as regulars. Its tax season accountants dont cook and get home late this time of year. I was a loyal customer from 2003-2012 until I move to the westside and had to use Yummy which maybe the same owners or they sold that location. I recently moved back to Valley Village and ordered 3 times from them in 2 weeks and I ignored the late delivery but the f**k if Im going to pay to be treated like a dirtbag. My experience was horrible! I ordered online last night and spent $80. but when I received my food, I was missing four main parts of what I ordered. Then when I tried to eat what I did have (hash browns) they were still frozen in the middle. Don't waste your money there. that's all I have to say. read more

When confronted with this, one of their cowardly employees (Boris) LIED about not receiving my emails and then hid from me when I called him back. I would not recommend this business. I have been going there for a while and have enjoyed their food. However, tonight they mixed up my order 3 times,and I did not recognize it until the third time when I was at home and ready to eat. I called about it, and the man hung up on me. I will not be visiting them again any time in the near future, and based upon how I was treated both over the phone and when I returned the incorrect order, I would not recommend this business.... I previously failed to mention how rude the employee was. He went so far as to throw the food I returned across the store. I LOVE store-2-door! I've never had an issue with them, I think the food is so surprisingly good, and it's such a huge menu that anything you can think of that you need is on there. It's such a brilliant business idea. Like I was sick and needed medicine. Boom! Call them up and I was able to order soup, medicine, and ice cream. Drunk one night and couldn't drive to get more booze? Boom! Call them up, get a bottle delivered. It's been raining all this week and damn it, I just don't feel like going out to get food. Boom! BLT and Greek salad delivered. Store-2-door is one of my all time favorite inventions. read more

So our food was ordered for delivery and ended up taking two hours to get to our place, when i asked, the manager (Tyler) had the nerve to say I should have answered my phone when I had gotten no phone calls during that time frame and our food was cold, incorrect, and the drink was warm. Terrible food, Worse customer service, and in general a poor experience. I'll be sure to share with my friends what a terrible time we had as soon as I can. read more

I read a previous review that sparked my interest: "AMAZING. Now I'll never have to get out of my PJs." It's true. I was here at home in my PJ's doing some tedious chores and needed a few items, including Sake and salad, but didn't want to stop what I was doing, so I can cook sooner than later. I looked up grocery delivery in my area and this popped up...I gave it a shot due to some great reviews. Kind of on the awesome side...they had all sorts of random items that I needed from the regular store (aluminum foil, salad, sake, juice, etc). Came in 30 minutes...way before I was done with my chore...and the delivery guy was super friendly. I will definitely be using this service again. I want to try their sandwiches... read more

Delivery was timely, but customer service stinks. There really isn't a positive or pleasant way to order from this place. Call, and they are rude on the phone. Order on Eat24 and they charge a ridiculous delivery fee AND expect a tip on top of it. Their produce and packaged items are fine, but their deli and bakery are very poor quality. I'd have to be really desperate to give them a third chance. read more

It was late and I was incapable of driving to the store. After a little yelp search I found Store 2 Door...and I'm so glad I did! I only needed Afrin and Contact Lens solution - but I found them on the Store 2 Door site online, ordered online and within, say 15 minutes, my order was here! Now sure, those two items cost me $20 plus tip...but for the convenience - and how quickly it arrived - it was well worth it! Completely happy with the service provided...and my delivery person was friendly too! I'll most likely be relying on them again. Great find!!! read more

I always order online from these guys, and usually the service is great. But the guy I just had on the phone, Steven, was rude and confrontational. They didn't have an item I ordered, and because the amount then dropped below $100, he refused to honor the free shipping off my original order, and finally hung up on me. read more

This place is awesome! Not only is it one of the few places where you can buy liquor in Burbank past 9pm, but they deliver it too!!! The food is decent (try their BLT or one of their salads) and they seem to sell everything from Q-Tips to cat food. This convenient delivering grocery store is the best idea ever! read more

The liquor store is alright, but the service is absolutely terrible. I go in there to buy my alcohol for the night all excited and the people who work there are such DOWNERS. I don't understand how this place has more than 2 stars. Tonight one of the guys working there tended to us while eating a slice of pizza. The other times it's some other guy who looks so god damn miserable that I myself start feeling depressed for stopping by. I'm never going again, but I know I'll end up there because of convenience. Other than that, the vibe sucks and it smells. read more

I was so hungry I was going to order pizza for delivery but also wanted a drink after a long night at working at the office. Too bad Pizza Hut didn't deliver alcohol so I decided to try Store 2 Door. Amazing part is they had Pizza Bagels so I ordered a couple of those which were amazing! Also got a couple of airplane bottles of Whiskey which was much needed after a long day at the office. Also great customer service on the phone I told them I didn't want much to drink maybe a shot or two so he referred me to the airplane bottle and I was in the mood for pizza so they made me a Pizza Bagel. 1 star because Eat24 APOLOGIZED FOR YOU AND SENT A COUPON FOR MY FOOD BEING LATE! Why the hell, when you're 15 minutes away, does it take an hour and a half to make and deliver a sandwich? I can understand a burger or a turkey dinner plate; something that requires cooking. But a COLD SANDWICH AND A CAN OF RED BULL?! Are you kidding me?! Either get better management and and learn to manage your time or shut down because you guys are epic failures! read more

My experience with Store 2 Door has been through Eat 24 only. I absolutely love it, especially later at night when I can order fruit, beverages or other items that I might not be able to travel to a grocery store for. Their BLT is pretty awesome also, and you can order cheese and deli meats by the pound. Delivery guys are cool. I'm a regular. read more

Store 2 door is great, but the delivery fee.. Like really? You have to add 4 extra dollars to my total just to deliver? I highly doubt it costs that much to deliver food, especially when I'm not very far away. Other than that, the food was bomb, a little late, but still bomb. read more

Alright this place is simply amazing. You can't beat a liquor, deli, and grocery delivery service. My experience started when I had guests coming over. I had no time to cook or get any drinks. Called Store 2 Door and told them I need (2) 18 packs of beer and (4) sandwiches delivered I even told them I was in a rush and that I had quests coming over. The awesome gentlemen Sunday morning told me they would put a rush on the order and they did. I got the order in 20 minutes before my guests got to my house. Overall great service and they were really nice over the phone. I will definitely be ordering a few times a week for different reasons. Bravo on the idea read more

Just ordered delivery food from here.. Driver gets here has no change.. All I had was 100's says he will return with change. Doesn't. So I call store. They tell me that their driver said I told him he could keep it!? Umm ok late night delivery is sometimes mediocre, this shit is bombb. Fruit bowl was fresh as fu** along with the Greek wrap. WOW. Not 5 stars cuz I thought I tipped online when I paid and the guy came to the door with my order and said "tip in cash". Like yes I'm a dick for forgetting to tip online, I get that. But please don't order me to tip you for doing your job. But obviously I feel/felt like a dick. All in all, delish! read more

Upon getting back in my car, I took a look at my "yummy" purchases.... Each one is individually wrapped, like you would find on the shelve at any fast convenience store or gas station. On the back of the wrapper, it says it was distributed from New York. From the television show, I thought I was getting fresh made desserts, not pre- packaged mass-produced frozen food items! This business should clearly identify as a Doordash only pickup location.

First off and to be fair Store 2 Door is awesome for the service they provide! The people are friendly, the delivery guys are awesome, its an all around great place and a good idea. I have been going there myself for quite sometime and have had no complaints until now and this is why... In September 2013 California passed House Assembly Bill AB10, which approved the first minimum wage raise for Californians in six years. The bill will raise the California Minimum Wage to $9.00 per hour effective July 2014... Store 2 Door this is where you just lost me! I was told by one of the higher ups in the company recently that alot of their prices were going up in direct response to California "Forcing" this minimum wage increase on business's. Guys, Guys, Guys, Your business as it runs now is nothing without your employee's! You know it and all of your loyal patrons know it. Your raising of many of your prices from their current levels is nothing more then a "We are going to pout - kneejerk reaction" because as a rather successful small business with an up until now successful business model you are sweating at the fact that you might have to shell out another 20 bucks a week to your employee's because of California's more then fair decision!! This increase is not so that you can financially stay afloat, its only the owners and management reacting as small spoiled children because their hardworking employee's might scrape out another $15 or $20 per pay check! You think that by pulling this that it will create the illusion that somehow business's suffer when their required to provide a better wage for their workers and are forced to raise prices! ( BooHoo we dont want to but we have to ) A Dollar guys? A lousy dollar?? And you raise your prices on pretty much everything much more then that. Don't be surprised if this one comes back to bite ya in the keester kids! Stupid move and your going to lose business because of it. Your making enough $$$$ as it is so quit blowing smoke.... "OMG! Raising the Minimum Wage is going to bankrupt us!" None of us out here on the "left" are buying it!! Good for their workers who are hopefully gettting a dollar more an hour! Stay the hell away. Idk what the hell happened, but you can't pay me to come back to this shith0l3. Employee's need to learn how to pick their pants up, no body wants to see your ass as you're restocking the shelves. They straight r3tarded or something, asked them to take the inside of the bread out and the guy assured us that they come that way already. Shoulda seen that as a red flag cuz I've never heard of that, guess that ones my fault. We Ordered ABLT and besides being bland and tasteless it was mostly lettuce. If i wanted that much lettuce I'd order a damn salad. My brother ordered a pastrami and took one bite and threw up. Looks like they didn't microwave the pastrami enough cuz it was raw and disgusting, i think the picture speaks for itself. Stay as far away from this place as you can, that's the best advice anyone wit half a brain will give you bout this place. read more

So convenient! Great quality products at a reasonable price delivered right to your door, it doesn't get much better. My husband and I order from store 2 door all the time, but it comes especially useful when you have had a drink or two and need to restock. Or when we are feeling lazy to drive to get food we can always count on store 2 door for a delicious meal. They have almost everything that regular groceries stores offer and they bring it to your door step in about 30 minutes. Also, they always have great deals! Such as a free sandwich with purchases over $30. We would definitely recommend Store 2 Door! read more

I wish i could give them less then one star. This is a horrible place, on top of rode management and unprofessional employees they overcharge you as much as they can for so called "delivery. not only u will be charged delivery charge of like $10, but prices for everything u've ordered will go up at least 25%-30%. NEVER order food there, not only everything tastes like feet, it is also not fresh and rotten. If you will take a look in the kitchen and see the condition of the floor and sandwich station and a cook, u are gonna puke !!! Stay away !!! read more

Whoohoo! As good as it gets! This place has everything. Food, grocery store items, alcohol and cigarettes. The staff are friendly and super knowledgeable. They deliver all over the valley and there's no minimum, wow. My favorite thing is the chicken parm sandwich toasted on sourdough bro the wraps are bomb too. Delicious. Alright I don't even know were to start.. Liquor store with a deli that delivers Food, Smokes, Liquor, and any type of groceries? Amazing! I ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich and the Original club as well as a 12 pack of beer. They got here in less then 20 minutes to top it off the food was amazing.
