This really is a great mall! It definitely lives up to its name…read more It's hard to believe this mall has been here for 32 years! The building was a former Ford auto plant, which gave them plenty of room to work with. The mall opened in 1994. It's primarily an outlet mall, but they have lots of other retailers as well. They have a Dick's Sporting Goods, they have a Home Depot across the parking lot , for clothes, they have Marshalls, Kohl's, Burlington, Old Navy and lots of others. They even have a furniture store They have stores ranging from bargain to luxury . They have restaurants ranging from Dave and Buster's, to Burger King to Popeyes to Jollibee, as well as food and snacks in all different. Nationalities. If you can't find something to eat here, you are not hungry. They have a movie theater with 20 screens, other play places, and . They even have a "cattery.". With roughly 200 stores, if you can't find what you are looking for here, you aren't looking hard enough. Of course, the stores do change from time to time. This is what was there when I was there..... The mall is in a giant circle, so it makes it very hard to get lost. Just keep walking, and you will come back to the door that you came in. The place can get busy, especially during the holidays. I was there on a Sunday, with a lot of people there, but again the size made the crowds much more manageable. I'll stop here whenever I'm in the area, to see what's currently going on. Thank you!

So fast in fact, that forgot that we left both a camera and a kindle in the car. A week later, we arrived at airport, called them, they told us where to go to wait outside for pickup. It did take about 20 minutes for a empty van, because the first van that came by about 5-10 minutes after calling was already half-full (where did those people come from? is there an earlier van stop?). Anyway, the guy seemed apologetic, and said another driver would be by soon. It was no big deal to me, because after reading the early reviews, it seemed that it takes longer on the return part of the trip versus the start part of the trip. Anyway, next van came and got us and another family. Got back to the lot, us and 2 other groups waited about 5 minutes and we got our keys and the car (with camera and kindle untouched)! All in all, a very uneventful and smooth parking arrangement. - I would use them again.

I had to wait for staff to arrive. (again, false advertizing) 2. Being one of the first to arrive and since I have a full side pickup truck, I selected what I considered an optimal parking space so that I could back into it as I have difficulty parking my truck into, then backing out of tight parking spaces. (should be noted that the interior parking spaces within this temporary lot are so compacted together on all sides, that even a compact vehicle would have to execute several painfully stressful backing out manuevers to avoid hitting the surrounding vehicles). When I arrived that morning, I was told by the attendant that I could park anywhere I wanted, so I chose to back into in a spot where I was not close, but near the entrance. It also was situated such that I could back up to a fence area in a way that there would at least not be a vehicle behind me.) The spot I chose to safely back in my truck into, had other vehicles parked there as well. Some vehicles were backed in like mine while others were not. Another added benefit in this particular section was that there was more clearance on both sides of your vehicle & no vehicles parked behind you, making it more optimal for my full sized truck. (Again, I was verbally told that I could park anywhere). When I arrived back from trip (next day on 8/21), in accordance with thier contract, I called thier number to advise them that I arrived. They asked me for my ticket number which I provided, only to find out that they had relocated my truck into one of the interior parking spaces!!!!!, FACING FORWARD!!!, and in a very tight space where vehicles were tightly parked on all sides of my truck making it exponentially more difficult to manuever my truck out of there! What was the reason for this? I just provided the true picture of what transpired in the paragraphs above! 3. Upon my arrival to the airport and per the company's protocols, I called them to advise that I had arrived. I was directed to walk and proceed to a designated pick up area. I was the first to arrive. By the time their converted van-shuttle arrived there, were now 9 of us (including myself), waiting to board this altered looking van-bus. When they opened the door, there now were 3 more passengers already sitting inside the back area of the van, making it a total of now 12 people inside this altered van-shuttle! While most passegers had seats which were packed tightly, the remaining 3 passengers had to settle for sitting on wooden make-shift wooden platforms. There were absolutely no handrails to hold onto while we were commuting on city streets! There were no seat belts. They they ran out of luggage space stored at the back of this altered vehicle (which contributes to why there is limited space and unsafe conditions in the passenger compartment), One of the guys sitting on one of these crickety unsafe platforms, had to try to hold his own luggage which was on wheels! An agency if some sort should regulate this condition! We were packed like sardines within this unsafe vehicle. It shouldnt have been unsafe and over-packed like this! (They should have dispatched 2nd "van'bus"). I had used this company a handful of times before. NEVER, did they have to relocate my truck, they were really open 24hrs/day & thier van types shuttles were never overcrowded like this time! Wont be going there again and highly recommend anyone/everyone to not patronize this place.

FREE PARKING whaaaaat?…read more I was told by the awesome security staff from Levi's Stadium during my company's tech conference that parking here is FREE!! I am not sure if there is a fee during a game or a concert, but during the week when there are conventions at Levi's Stadium and private corporate parties, parking here is FREE. Best of all, there are 49 EV (electric vehicle) parking both the lower level and the main level of this garage. Charging is provided by Chargepoint with a "Level 2" charging. You will need to download their APP or have their card to activate the charge. It's pretty reasonable as I paid only $2.20 for a two hour charge. NOTE: there is no entrance off on Tasman. You will need to enter throughthe Yellow Lot 1 and Lot 2. Then head straight to the entrance. You will also need to go one level up if you want to park at the main level. This parking garage is also shared by the Santa Clara Convention Center and The Hyatt Regency. Cheers!

The parking is free EXCEPT during 49ers games and other major Levi's Stadium events when it becomes know (in Levi's Stadium jargon) as Yellow Lot 1. Santa Clara Parking Garage = free parking Yellow Lot 1 = paid (usually very expensive) parking But for non-game days, it's a convenient place to park if your going to the golf course, David's Restaurant or across the street to the 49ers Team Store, 49ers Museum or Bourbon Steak and Pub restaurant, all located at Levi's Stadium. *Parking isn't free (unfortunately) during 49ers games or other major Levi's Stadium events.

There are many free shuttles that ACE operates to get passengers quickly to and from their workplaces in the mornings and in the afternoons. There is also access to VTA light rail within a 5 minute walk from the station at either the Lick Mill or Levi's Stadium/Great America stations. I park a car at the station Tuesday-Thursday to get back and forth from my office in downtown Mountain View to the station. There's plenty of parking at both the paved VTA lot and also at the unpaved lot that was used as parking and trailer space for the Levi's station construction. The unpaved lot is a lot closer to the train platform, but I'm not entirely sure how much longer they're going to allow ACE passengers to park there now that construction is complete on the stadium. On Mondays and Fridays, I usually take the VTA light rail into downtown Mountain View. If you have to make a similar trip, take the red ACE Shuttle to the Crossman VTA station instead of walking down to Lick Mill. The connection to the light rail is usually really tight and the shuttle will take you farther down the light rail line, which will save you a run down the hill to the station. The only thing that sucks about this station is that there are no restrooms. There is one porta-poty with a lock on it that is only to be used by the shuttle drivers. If there's a big delay, you'll have to go over to the Carl's Jr to use the restroom. It's rarely an issue, but it does happen.

This review is for Amtrak train not the station…read more I regularly use the Amtrak stop at Great America Station in Santa Clara, and one thing continues to be incredibly frustrating: the train horn. Every single time the Amtrak train arrives and is already slowing to a near-complete stop, the engineer blasts the horn at maximum volume for an unusually long time. It's so loud that it startles passengers and people waiting on the platform. I've seen people visibly jump from the sudden noise. I understand train horns are important for safety, but this feels excessive and unnecessary when the train is already at walking speed and nearly stopped at the station. I've ridden ACE and Caltrain many times, and they don't seem to do this in the same disruptive manner. Amtrak should review their operating practices and ensure the passenger experience is being taken seriously.

Came here for the first time recently because I love libraries. As far as those go, this is a really nice one. There are different sections with different vibes, all of them modern and clean. However, I noticed (more like smelled) some homeless sleeping in the middle of the library, with a terrible stench. On my way out, I tell the husky lady in the librarian's seat about it, and she immediately gives me an attitude as if I'm the inconvenience, not the stinky mentally ill drug addicts sleeping 10 feet away from all the children in the library. A great idea and great building ruined by idiotic employees.
