Rented a unit for $75 less than a year ago and they raised the price twice in that time and is now at $125. Citing that rental costs have gone up due to rising costs. Rental homes have stayed the same or lowered in the same amount of time, so beware that the introductory price is just a hook to make you pay the higher price within the year. read more

I have been at StorQuest for about 3 yrs, using a 10x10 climate controlled unit. In general, it meets all of my needs short of them ever fixing the access controls to the inside units. This is disappointing and doesn't provide the security I expected when renting. Also, they increase the rent a lot. My rent goes up annually and there is no way to lock it in for long-term customers. At this pace, I will need to move elsewhere just to re-set the promotional rates. I called and unfortunately they didn't seem interested in working with me. read more

The facility is usually clean and the location is good for me. However, like another reviewer, I'm frustrated that this advertised as a 24 hour access facility, but that is not actually true. Even today their website says 24 hours, Monday through Sunday but operating hours are actually very limited. I would be okay with that if they were honest AND adjusted pricing to reflect this bait and switch. Also the lock for the door that we use to access our storage building is always unlocked even though there is a pin pad there for security. It worked when we first rented but it's been broken for about a year. read more

After the pandemic, I needed to downsize and move things into storage along with vehicles. When I was looking at Storage, I was thrilled to discover Storquest in South Tracy. As far as storage goes, Storequest is outstanding!! Kat took great care to show me the facility, explain the units and costs, and answer all my questions. It's an immaculate facility, secure, and there are nice bathrooms available 24/7 (after hours access requires auto-pay which isn't a big deal when you compare this to limited access at other storage places). Pro tip, if you need to meet with someone in the office, they're closed on Sunday and Wednesday. Otherwise, Kat or Ophelea are there. Let's face it, moving and hauling things in and out of storage can be a drag, but over the years, Storquest has exceed my expectations. Kat and Ophelia are really friendly and great to work with. I realize everyone's experience varies, but I never had any hassle or issues here. If you need storage and you're in Tracy (especially south Tracy), you should definitely check this place out. read more

I have had a unit here for 2 years and when I first started there it was $36 a month for a 5x10 and everything was great. Over 2 years though it's gone from $36 to $100 and stuff has been broken for over 6 months and not fixed. They have no problem raising the price but can't use any of the money to fix anything! The pin pad for my building was broken on one side so they just leave the building unlocked on the other side and I have to drive around to the other side and carry my stuff clear across the building! On top of this the manager is rude and doesn't care about complaints. There is a poster in the front office that says they care about comments and suggestions but the manager does nothing and the district manager won't even call anybody back! I would not recommend this place to anyone spend your money somewhere else!! read more

Since the pandemic begun this place has gone from great to awful. Cant access storage before 9am and after 5pm, you have set up auto pay and get approved or something lame like that. I keep my camping gear in storage was all packed up to go camping, just needed my tent that was in storage and got access denied at gate called them got denied. Have to show up during business hours not open on Sunday's. Extra Space Storage and Public Storage are better options. read more

Check the small print on your lease regarding prorating and refunds and be sure you clearly understand they don't do either if you vacate after your billing date. In my case it was 3 days.. Was funny because I was sent an invoice that showed a prorated credit, then reversal showing I was out.. Don't even know why it was sent showing that.. Rented for over a year and at one point had 2 units.. Shame they will lose potentially 10X the value of the credit in future business.. Lesson learned..... read more

Do not use this facility is my warning after having my entire 5x7 unit damaged from water and rodents! As a Valley born and long time Tracy resident, these new storage units looked hopeful and I was excited for quality service only to be horribly disappointed! My unit had an exterior roll up door and I moved all my items into the unit in the month of May 2018 and came back in January of 2019 to my entire unit had water damage! Stacks of heavy duty boxes and their contents were destroyed by water! And I found rodent droppings and a few boxes had been chewed on! And I had completed the paperwork for the manager to keep my key and she lost it- she lost my key! She had to waste half an hour of my time to drill out the lock!!! This has been my worst experience of storage units and I've had storage units all up and down the state of California for the last 7 years! I have filed a claim with the insurance and will update this post with how StorQuest is cooperative or not. read more
