PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW: I made a reservation last week to store an RV beginning this week. I received email confirming the move-in date and price. When the move-in date arrived, I didn't actually end up needing the space. I called to cancel the reservation and a gentleman who claimed to be the manager was short, angry, and told me that my card had been charged already, and there would be no refund at all. I pulled up my email confirmation and canceled the reservation that way. Shortly thereafter, Melissa called me, verified the situation, and said she would do everything possible to attempt to get me a refund for the space I had never used. It turns out that the "manager" had put me in "moved in" status, which was definitely not the case. Melissa was quickly able to correct the information and secure a refund to my credit card for which I am very grateful. read more

The rates are appealing at first, even knowing they'll increase. But when they double, and still can increase thereafter, it's best to find another option with a better value out of the gates. "Pass" on this place. read more

STOLEN FROM STORQUEST DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE!!!! My dad had his UTV/trailer stored here from May 2 - June 2, 2018. It was stolen from their "secured yard" near the Penske trucks early in the morning on June 2. It was scouted out by the thieves prior to the theft as they arrived with a rented truck with hitch and grinder to cut the locks. Their first trip in was at 8pm on June 1 apparently the thieves waited until someone left to enter upon their exit and bypass the coded entry gate. They cut the locks on the trailer as well as the back South facing gates and left. Around 12:40am they came back to take the rig. You could not see the UTV from the street leading me to believe it was likely another client of StorQuest or an employee who had access or knowledge of the facility in the short time it was stored there that stole the UTV. Watch out residents of Parker and clients of StorQuest you do not know who is watching over your shoulder or stalking the place out when you are gone. **As of now StorQuest will not agree to take any responsibility for the stolen property despite it being their fault for having no camera coverage on the property except for entry/exits.** read more

It's been 4 days since it last snowed. Ice still covers 1/2 of all of the asphalt. I had to request a south facing unit just to be safe. Even then it is impossible to avoid this mess. I understand ice...but plow the snow and fix the drainage! read more

The stay was fine until the end when I had to deal with the inflexibility and condescending nature of 20 Mile Self Storage management. I realize that I signed a "legal document" stating I would communicate my intention to move out within 7 days of the billing cycle, however, since I NEVER missed a payment nor was I late (EVER), I find it unfortunate that TWO DAYS did not provide a sufficient amount of time regardless of what the document I signed states. I will gladly (and "Legally") pay the $177 for the month I will not be using the storage facility, however, I would advise against working with and/or doing business with 20 Mile Self Storage due to the inflexibility and lack of a "customer first" business model. I find it strange that having a disappointed and vocal customer is not worth $177 to 20 Mile Self Storage; narrow minded thinking on behalf of the folks at 20 Mile Self Storage (in my opinion). As anyone considers a storage facility, there are MANY others that will gladly work with their customer and specifically the move out process not to mention prorate the monthly payment given the amount of time one uses the unit in a given month. Yes, they take $177 on the 25th of each month and if you move out on the 30th, you get NOTHING back for the time you are not in the unit....not customer focused! All in all, I would NOT recommend 20 Mile Self Storage to any of my friends, family members, co-workers, and yes, even enemies! BEWARE Don't be left high and dry on moving day! We went into the office 2 weeks before we needed our storage unit and paid our deposit to hold the unit. On moving day I went into the office to lease our unit and was told they did not reserve the correct size unit. Then I was told that the price I was quoted was not correct either. I asked the woman if there was anything she could do for me and she said no, and if I didn't like it I could take my business elsewhere and then REFUSED to lease me a unit. Clearly this company doesn't value their customers, you are just one a million people who need their services and so they think they can do whatever they want. Do yourself a favor and find a storage facility that cares about their customers. read more

Good pricing relative to the market - convenient location to those living on the Main Street corridor in Parker. The only slight criticism is that I filled out an online application when I reserved the unit and then I had to fill it out again manually at the storage center office - didn't like the duplication - a processes improvement is in order - that said, it wasn't that big of deal... I needed a storage unit to hold a few bedrooms until we have our hardwood floors installed. I reserved the unit during the week online, and then went in Friday afternoon to sign all the paperwork. I asked to see the unit before I finalized all the paperwork to ensure that the unit would hold everything. Kristina and Ed were happy to show me the unit. Upon arriving to the unit, they both noticed an oil stain in the unit and immediately noted that they would need to have the unit clean prior to renting to someone else. They also we kind enough to provide a unit that would have easy access for me to get our trucks in and unload conveniently. On Saturday move in day for us, I stopped in the office and asked Kristina if she would be able to unlock the gate so that we could all drive in without using the code this one time. We had 3 trucks and two jeeps filled with bedroom furniture. It made moving in so much easier. Note, we did exit via the gate code, but cannot say how much this meant to us to be able to drive right to our unit. Both Kristina and Ed were very polite and attentive my needs. You don't want to use this storage place. They don't stand by their promises and treat you like dirt. I'm in the UK on a 2-yr work visa. I needed my debit card changed as my acct was compromised (said Visa) while in the UK and was issued a new card. I sent my brother in with my new card (he has my signed Power of Atty forms). This Storquest store manager refused to accept new card numbers from him. And when we got the unit, my brother had signed papers to say he had my permissions with the unit and this was accepted with no issues by the manager, at the time. Deeply disappointed in this place, going back on their word. There are other storage places in Parker, CO; use someone else. read more
