We had a storage unit there. I paid the rent on the second of October which was due by the 23rd. We moved out of the unit on the 17th of October. Now Storquest will not refund the rent money that was paid early. read more

This morning I stopped by the storage office. In hopes of getting some help for another small unit, instead I was so excited to get a bigger storage with a lower payment which made my day !!! Marie was so helpful to offer me a promotion and help me with my needs. With the stress I was going through, Marie gave me some of that Joy back and saved me in my situation . I tell ya, there has never been a storage facility that I was ever satisfied with until I went to StorQuest in Spanish springs ! God bless you Marie and your dedicate work. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Also, this property is infested with mice who will eat through your stuff even if it is packed and protected. Trying to charge me $8 for something not listed on the rental agreement or the rules and regulations. Was told we are being charged $8 because we didn't "check out" when we vacated. There was nobody in the office AND MORE IMPORTANTLY that "check out" they are talking about is not listed ANYWHERE in ANY agreement I signed. You'll have to pry that $8 from my cold dead hands Storquest. Here are the requirements for vacating... nowhere is there a mention of "checking out." Horrific customer service onsite, from the corporate office and by district manager Michael Sinclair. Deplorable. read more

Evidently this IS the way you do business because even when i called that number today they just threw me back into the same run around we've been dealing with. We are out of our space and have closed our account, so the money you stole from us can only be chalked up to our loss your gain. There is no legal substantiation for your claim that we were required to pay per item. But in order to rectify this I'm told we would have to talk to your legal department, but not given any way to do so. We were also told to talk to your district manager, who had been an ass to my husband last time we tried to talk to him and he hung up on him and refused to discuss it further. So it sounds to me like this is your normal business practices after all. read more

Nice place overall. Very clean. A little expensive. Just beware when it comes to your move out date. It will change and you will be charged. Make sure you get it in writing and do not do it verbally like they suggest. Based on how it happen it seems it was intentional. BEWARE. read more

We are not very impressed with the level of communication between the call center that answers their calls and the storage facility. The call center indicated that they could hold an RV spot for 30 days. Once we decided to take the spot, within the 30 days, I called and talked to Christine at the storage facility who confirmed it was available. When my partner went to the office the next day to take care of the paperwork and payment she was told that there was no spot and that they only hold spots for 7 days. Luckily they had a different, larger spot available for of course a larger rental fee. As it was very difficult to find a spot for RV storage in the first place we were stuck taking the larger more expensive spot. Very disappointing experience. read more

DO NOT do business with them! I canceled our space because we only used it a week or two in 2 1/2 months, and the person I spoke to said we didn't owe anything. So 3 months later we get a collection letter from an agency for $85. They said they sent a lien in the mail, but we never received it. We can surely afford $85. Maybe they should start sending lien notices "certified mail" instead of depending on our postal service to get it to us. Who sends a legal document without certifying it, to make certain we get it??? Nice way to do business. Then she said they sent my husband emails. I GET that. I understand he signed your agreement. He can't find an email. And we don't have a physical lien/invoice for $85. He's not going to allow $85 to ruin his credit. Don't depend on email just to SAVE your company paper and stamps. A LOT of emails go to JUNK-MAIL, don't they? Anyway, in the end, the girl I spoke with hung up on me because I told her what they did wasn't a great way to treat customers. The manager couldn't even speak with me. Isn't that their job in situations like these? Thanks for trying to put a dent in our credit. Obviously you need the money. Could have avoided this negative review if you didn't hang up on me. They need to change the way they handle their billing. Also, I would NEVER send one of our customers to collections until I've verbally spoken to them, (as they may not have received any letters through email/mail) and attempted to contact them through all means necessary before making the decision to proceed with a collection agency. I'm sure you had some sort of contact number on file. read more

This place is very clean and also in a safe location. I have my RV there and I am also renting a 10x10 unit. The price is high compared to other storage facilities, but since they are always sold out, I guess I can't blame them for the high prices. Disappointing that there is no special deal for already being a customer or for having my RV stored there too. read more

Jessica and Tessa were so helpful in getting us the correct size, finding us a discount that fit our time that we think we will be needing storage and providing top of the line customer service. They even have everything you need to make your move really easy, boxes, tape, rope, bubble wrap, you name it! Everything went by fairly fast and was explained to us very well. The storage units themselves are safe and clean, and the price is reasonable. Although these aspects are nice, the customer service here is HORRENDOUS. When I first decided to rent the unit, I called in the morning to find out their hours so I could be sure someone would be there when I got there to sign up (my drive was about 30 minutes each way). I was told lunch was from 12 to 1, so I showed up at 1:15, only to find a sign on the window saying they were at lunch, to return at 2:00. I proceeded to rent the unit, and was told that if I provided proof of my own personal renter's insurance, I would be reimbursed for the insurance I was required to purchase from them ($9 a month). A few weeks later, my agent sent me proof that my insurance covered storage units, and I forwarded the information to the company, asking to be reimbursed for my $18 (two months had been paid by this point). After WEEKS of not hearing back, I was told i would only be reimbursed for one month of the insurance. On October 4th, I called and asked how I could go about canceling my unit. The girl told me that since I had already paid for Oct 5 - Nov 5, if I could get to the unit THAT DAY (October 4th) and have everything out, I would be refunded my entire $32.00 for the month. My husband and I canceled our plans and headed to the unit. We got everything out, and when I went to check out, I was informed that I would only receive a $12.00 refund due to the fact that I had not given a 7 day notice. She said she thought she could "get around the system" and get my full refund, but found out that she couldn't. Her attitude (this, and every other time I've dealt with her), has been one of annoyance, as though I am disrupting her day by requiring her to do her job. I told her I never would have canceled plans and rushed down to the unit that day for $12. All I got was an insincere "Sorry about that." I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE, due to their awful customer service and misinformation provided by employees. read more

The storage worked out perfect for us, great price, perfect location, very clean and great service. I always got a hi from Tim when I was at my unit. Miscommunication regarding the length of time they would hold our reservation led to a frustrating experience. When I arrived to pay for our spot I was informed the spot we were quoted had already been sold. But, "luckily" they had a larger, more expensive spot instead. We were in a time crunch and pretty much forced to take the more expensive spot. I found the fact that they didn't call to tell us about the mix-up unusual but rather, waiting until I arrived to break the news quite odd and a little bit dishonest. The reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is that the grounds are clean and well-maintained. read more

In calling Pyramid Hwy. Storage at least 4 times as I was worried...I spoke with at least 3 different people and they were all very friendly and helpful. The unit was very clean and easy to access with a 53 ft. semi. It is also very convenient to Wingfield Springs area where I live without dealing with any city traffic to get to the storage facility. read more

Pyramid Highway Storage was a very clean and professional facility. Both Tim and Lindsey were very helpful with my move-out. They were very courteous and answered all questions that I had regarding the move-out process. When I first moved into the unit, the thing that caught my eye was how clean the facility and unit was. I have been to other storage units where the staff didn't bother cleaning the grounds or units. I was very pleased with my time at Pyramid Highway Storage and if I ever need to rent a storage unit again I will be going back.
