The new girl's work was subpar, but that's not why I'm writing this review. I'm writing it because of Carmen's unprofessionalism toward her new girl. Openly ridiculing and talking down to her in front of my family, telling her it didn't look good and to just do arm work for the rest of the day. We were there early and there was nobody waiting behind us. She could've waited until we left before correcting the girl. If the girl wasn't ready to do face painting, that's a training gap on Carmen's part and she shouldn't have been out there in the first place. A reputable business isn't just about doing good work, it's about how you treat both your customers and employees alike.

We decided on face painting, a glitter bar and time for entertainment. Gale was our assigned fairy; she reached out a few days before our event. The morning of, we found out very last minute that we had to change our venue due to rain and Gale was flexible and was right on pace - after a quick text to her, she showed up as the new location on time. She arrived in a very festive Encanto/Mirabel outfit; our location change ended up being to our home and garage. Gale led an entertaining puppet show (several other parents thought for a short while that her rabbit puppet was a real animal) - kids and parents enjoyed it! The kids loved her artistry with her glittery tattoos on their face and hands. Her balloon animals were also a huge hit. It was fantastic to have 1 person with so many great skills to keep kids happy. As my husband and I were running the party, we loved the fact that we were able to keep ~25 2 to 5 year olds entertained for the 3 hour party (2 hours during which Gale was there). We had food and games and she was so helpful too with gathering kids and singing happy birthday. She provided a tiara and special bracelet for the birthday girl which was perfect. Our artist was absolutely wonderful - showed up promptly, was professional, kind, and friendly. We ended up having much fewer children than expected at our party, so most guests were adults. Very flighty and disappointing service, especially when kids are involved, as they were told a face painter was coming. All the parents at the party were shocked. Would never recommend. She's good at giving a refund, but that is about it.
