I emailed Jason giving him a bit of history about what my current health insurance is like and he helped pick out plans that he thought would be right for me. What was great was that we met up in person and could answer all the questions I had. We had a bit of emailing back and forth because the plans I was originally looking at ended up not being right for me, but Jason was always really upbeat and positive even though he had to do extra work. He also has a really quick response time to emails which is fantastic! Jason knows his insurance plans well and I would recommend him to anyone who has no clue what health insurance to get! He is really great at making sure you understand what you're signing up for. Also, unlike other insurance agents I've had in the past, he is willing to meet with you to go over plans if needed!

As a case in point, during the 2020 fire summer season, Ana unexpectedly contacted our household to advise us of the changing red zone / evacuation lines in nearby zip codes which was hugely surprising, but which we found to ultimately be, caring and pro-active. Moreover, in 2021 when State Farm's corporation rolled out policy & pricing changes, she did a Zoom conference call with us, to walk through the changes & to review ways to alter our policy for savings. Over the next couple of days, we played phone tag and we weren't able to connect because I run a restaurant, and the end of the week/weekend is the busiest for us. Finally, today I was able to send her the credit card information she needed to purchase the policy, and I expected nothing else after that, but to get my insurance coverage finalized. After a few hours of having sent the information, she emailed me to say that the card was declined and I figured I had given her the wrong zip code. After asking her to confirm the zip code, she then responded "please provide me with the full address and be sure it is the correct one. So I don't have waste your time and my time". Instead of responding to her email I asked her to call me at which point she did. When I picked up, I told her that as a business owner I would never speak to a customer like that, and she responded by saying that she had been trying to contact me. When I told her I run a business and that it was rude the way she addressed me, she simply hung up the phone. After being cut off, I dialed her back and she let it ring and ring then emailed me while I was still on the phone waiting for her to pick up and said, "sorry Isabella, I'm on the line". Firstly, as a business owner, I would never see an interaction like this as a waste of my time. Secondly, I would never speak to anyone the way this lady did. Luckily, I was able to find another broker who was able to get me the same exact quote for $500 less, which now makes me wonder how legitimate this woman's insurance agency is.
