She was a wonderful guide and we learned so much about the rich history of Palm Springs. She also threw out recommendations for restaurants and activities to do while we were in the area, which we really appreciated. It was a smooth ride around town in their air conditioned bus. We were provided with fans and water bottles as well. Bonus that you can bring your own alcohol! We each brought a cup of wine with lids with us. And don't forget to tip your hostess!

He had everything we needed: water and hip packs to carry the water, trail snacks, hats, etc. we started down the trail and he provided lots of information about the flora along the trail. The hike itself was fantastic along the creek and crossing it was fun. Scott was upfront with us about getting feet wet but it was a lot of fun jumping rocks across the creek. The waterfalls were awesome as well as the extra trail to a scenic overlook where you can see all the way to Palm Springs. Scott also took numerous pics for us along the way. Scott was amazing! He was able to accommodate a tour within the hour time we had. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed Scott's knowledge of the area. We originally had the Hummer sunset tour scheduled for Saturday -- the day before, the owner (Jerry) texted to alert us to an issue with the vehicle and offered to rebook us for a private van tour on Sunday morning. He refunded us the difference. Our tour guide Tom was great. After entering the park, he played two songs from U2's Joshua Tree album to set the stage. He answered ALL of our questions, shared a lot of information about the area, the plants, cowboy stories and more. And his playlist for the ride back - inspired by the desert - was great. He brought us to several spots for either a quick hike or a walk, or to take photos. He took photos for everyone who wanted them. Highly recommend!

The first 2 trips were put together by an employee who has since retired; she was incredible, very responsive, had everything squared away for us. This 3rd trip was put together by Guillaume Van Wyck at Great Safaris. The accommodations were excellent and we'll be returning to Kenya to several of them. The overall trip was really great, and was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as we anticipated. HOWEVER... communication from Great Safaris was not good. I had to email repeatedly to get answers to questions. Information about obtaining visas was non-existent, and when we had issues, we got a last-minute email that would have been helpful earlier. A hot-air balloon excursion in the Serengeti wasn't scheduled for us (even though we paid for it), so we didn't get to take it; Great Safaris did refund our money, but we wish we could have taken the excursion. Serious mistake on their part. Questions about scheduling went unanswered; we didn't get itinerary times until we were in Africa, and only by asking the people at the lodges. Great Safaris should have provided all of that to us. All in all, we would recommend a safari trip for anyone loving animals and a truly amazing experience. BUT WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GREAT SAFARIS.

We were a…read moremultigenerational group of 9 taking a safari trip to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary, so we had ages ranging from 73 to 6. Dave managed to set up the trip of a lifetime for us, finding special activities that the kids would enjoy while simultaneously ensuring that the entire group had a wonderful time. He chose spectacular accommodations for us in Nairobi, Samburu, and the Masai Mara region of Kenya. We spent 3 nights at a luxury hotel in Nairobi at the beginning of our trip to acclimate, and one night there at the end of the trip before returning home to Washington. He organized a wonderful visit to the Giraffe Center as well as the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see elephants up close. These visits were absolutely fantastic for the kids, and the adults got just as much out of seeing these animals up close. Dave organized small flights (10 seat airplanes) within Kenya to get us from Nairobi to Samburu and then from Samburu to the Masai Mara. Both flights were incredible, and were an experience in and of themselves. It was such a pleasure having everything organized for us and being able to just show up. Particularly since we were traveling with 3 kids under the age of 12, we appreciated Dave's efforts in making everything as smooth and seamless as possible. The entire trip was an adventure, and it felt safe and luxurious due to the places we stayed and the guides we had. His knowledge of the area and his years of experience in setting up similar trips in Africa led to the most wonderful trip any of us have ever taken. We can't recommend him enough!

It was a long time in the making due to the pandemic. Our trip was cancelled in 2020 due to the obvious. My husband started planning the trip in 2019 and we were finally able to go in September of 2021 when restrictions were released in the US. Ines was amazing the entire time. She worked tirelessly to hook us up with the trip of a lifetime. My husband is half Croatian so this was a first time bucket list visit and we hope to return again someday soon. Inez is Croatian and spends her time there and in LA. She really had her finger of the pulse of everything Croatian and asked all the right questions of what we were looking for in this long awaited adventure. The attention to detail was flawless. Seriously flawless. We are fairly well traveled and I can honestly say this trip came off without a hitch. We were so incredibly fortunate that nothing went wrong and everything was perfect. When does this ever happen? Especially when traveling abroad! Everyone we dealt with provided exceptional service. We visited several different cities, Zadar, Zagreb, Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik. We had personal drivers to take us to each city and private tour guides who showed us some amazing sites. Both the drivers and guides were awesome. So warm and engaging and super professional. They were all about making us feel completely taken care of. It really comes across as so sincere that the Croatians want you to have the best time ever. We had a long drive one night after and day of sightseeing in the sun so we were very tired. When we got to Split, in my fatigue, I accidentally left my hat in the car. My new handmade $400 hat my husband just bought for me and this amazing hat shop in Zadar. I was crushed. When I called the company to see if they could send it to me in the US, they did one better, they jumped through serious hoops to hook up with another driver going to the next town we were in to rendezvous a pickup. We were beyond impressed! The level of service was absolutely outstanding! These people really care that you're having the time of your life and want to make it a truly memorable experience. All the hotels and restaurants we experienced were wonderful. We are very fortunate we were able to spend $$$$ on the trip, but they have all sorts of packages they can put together for all budgets. We went first class all the way to celebrate my husband's 60 birthday there. It was a very luxurious adventure with 5 star hotels and all the cars we traveled in were Mercedes Benz. The people of Croatian are so lovely and inviting. It's an extraordinarily beautiful country so rich in culture and history. It's also super inexpensive once you arrive! We had a glass of wine and a beer at a gorgeous restaurant with an epic view and the bill was $4 in US currency! Of course there are numerous fine dining establishments that Adventure Croatia can facilitate for you. They have all the hookups and make excellent recommendations. When we go back again, we may not go super high end like we did on this trip, but we will absolutely use them again to plan another trip. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you many times over to Ines and her amazing team of people for a seriously epic adventure!!

At each stop along the way, we were met by wonderful guides, who had grown up in the area and just LOVED to share their cultural heritage with us. Our drivers were impeccable and delivered us each day, exactly where we needed to be. I cannot recommend Adventures Croatia highly enough; there are no stars available beyond 5!
