We traveled to 29 countries and flew 26,000 miles, stayed in more hotels than I can count, and really had no issues, which I am still to this day shocked by. He planned an enormous trip around the world numerous times, and managed to make it so effortless that we really didn't have a single thing to worry about. He handled everything from flights, car rentals, transfers, hotels, tours, train tickets, essentially anything we needed, all put in a neat itinerary and ready every time we took off. He answered all of our questions promptly and he'd solve any problem we threw at him with ease if we wanted to change things up. He found hotels I'd have never found on my own, has loads of industry friends and got us VIP treatment just about everywhere we went, and always had suggestions on interesting places to go when we ran out of ideas. He has great taste, and we are admittedly a bit spoiled now that he has introduced us to some really fabulous hotels around the world. On a more personal note, Josh is incredibly friendly and helpful with pretty much any request we have. We are so, so glad we found him and we'll be clients and friends for a long time!

Not only does he sleuth out the best places to stay and best travel options, but he negotiates really great rates. He's conscientious, diligent and flexible. More than once we've drastically changed what we were looking for - and Josh never flinches. He just works harder to accommodate our new desires. Where it really matters - when things go wrong - is another area Josh really shines. He's there to help you get the most value for your $ without losing precious time during your vacation. Isn't that what it's all about? Forgetting about the travel stresses and enjoying the journey? Josh makes it happen.

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Saguaro in Palm Springs and overall enjoyed the property,…read moreatmosphere, and experience. However, we were disappointed by one aspect of the cocktail program that we feel guests should be aware of. We ordered tequila cocktails from the menu, but the tequila being used was not identified by brand. When we asked what tequila was in the drinks, we learned it was Torada tequila. After looking into it further, we discovered it is a mixto tequila rather than a 100% agave tequila. At the price point charged for cocktails at a resort property, we expected 100% agave tequila or, at the very least, clear disclosure of the spirit being used. Transparency matters, especially as more consumers are becoming educated about tequila quality and the differences between mixto and 100% agave products. This review is not meant to criticize the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but rather to encourage the hotel to be more transparent about the spirits used in their cocktails and consider upgrading to 100% agave tequila offerings.

I've stayed here several times before, and while no stay is perfect, I've never left this…read moredisappointed. One of the reasons I keep coming back is because the hotel usually has a great atmosphere. The restaurant, happy hour, pool DJs, and weekend activities always make it enjoyable. This stay, though, the cleanliness was really disappointing, especially considering the price. The pool and spa areas were dirty most of the weekend, with foam in the water, debris around the pool, overflowing trash cans, and very little visible upkeep. We noticed it Friday night when we arrived, and it continued through Saturday. Sunday was slightly better, but still not what I'd expect from this hotel. The biggest concern was sanitation. At one point, guests were using the pool net themselves to clean debris out of the water. Other than the cleanliness issues, the stay itself was okay, and I understand staffing challenges happen. But overall, this was one of the most disappointing stays I've had here, and it definitely made us reconsider staying here again in the future.

Everything and I mean Everything was amazing…read more The cigarette moms dip was SOOOO good I'm from Buffalo NY and I pride myself on a good french onion dip and this was amazing. If you are even a small fan of Trixie or drag it is a must. Reservations were so easy to get as well!

**REVIEW ONLY FOR THE BARBARA BAR**…read more We came to the Trixie Hotel before dinner on Sunday, and it was very cute and fun. The look and feel of the bar, outside, and gift shop were a 5/5, and I loved how adorably pink and palm springs-ish the entire place feels! We also had the sweetest person welcome and seat us, and we felt very taken care of in the beginning. Our reservation was at 6:00, and there were 4 of us who attended. I ordered the yeehaw cowgirl which was VERY strong, but pretty good. My husband got a frozen drink which was even stronger, but also tasty enough. The prices were quite high for the cocktails, but it was enjoyable to hang out in the area. We were told the kitchen had closed by the time we asked to order the P in a B (pigs in a blanket) at about 6:30pm, and were pretty disappointed. We didn't know there was a cut off time for food, and everyone around us had food on their tables, so that was a bit confusing to us. We asked if there was anything that we could eat, and our waiter said that he could bring us popcorn, which we were happy enough with. I asked for napkins that never arrived, and we were also told that they had run out of champagne, so we couldn't order one of the cocktails we were interested in. Our waiter seemed somewhat irritated with us, but I could have been mistaken. He took our pictures which was very nice of him, but overall, it felt like we were bothering him when we asked for things. I do think it's worth going once to experience the quirky vibes, but I wouldn't say the drinks are anything that standout. I wouldn't know about the food, but the offerings were pretty basic (a couple simple pizzas, pigs in a blanket, onion dip, etc.) in the future, I would bring a friend if they haven't been, but I probably wouldn't rush back otherwise.
