    Inside

This restaurant is very clean and cozy. It was obvious we were "out of towners" as literally everyone who came in knew each other on first name basis and talked across the tables to each other. It was a special thing to see. The staff was quick and friendly. The menu is comfort food and it was what you would expect. We got the fried pickles that my husband enjoyed. My husband got the ribeye with peppers, a baked potato, and salad. I got a grilled cheese and tater tots with a slice of pecan pie. It was all pretty good and very well priced, although the pecan pie seemed store bought vs made in house. Portions were good as well. The decor is cute and inviting.

We stopped in this diner yesterday morning to have breakfast. We found they were not practicing any…read moresocial distancing or any other of the precautions taken during the covid-19 crisis. We were not bothered by that but some people may certainly be bothered by it. The waitress came to the table and asked if we needed a menu, she brought silverware and asked us what we wanted to drink. It appeared there was one waitress and one cook. We brought our drinks and asked what we wanted to eat and I said I wanted to pancakes with bacon and the I said are you sure are pancakes are really large as she motioned to about the size of a plate. I said yes I want two of them and I could have done without the eye roll at not taking her suggestion. The hubby ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs, hash browns, and sausage. She brought out our meal and asked if we needed more coffee or tea. It was a good breakfast and there was plenty of food to eat. We left there satisfied and I am sure when we are back in the Celina, Tennessee area we will stop in here again.

After dealing with the dog we checked the reviews and they were good so we decided to stay here and eat. We all really enjoyed our breakfasts. I got the breakfast with biscuits and gravy, even though she said they don't make the biscuits in house. It was very good. I also got grits and scrambled eggs. My husband got 2 eggs over easy with English muffins, bacon and grits. Our son got the breakfast with pancakes. The service was excellent and the interior was cute. Large for $5.95. I added two eggs over easy. This is 2026 pricing! The plate came out looking unassuming. I ordered a small plate which is one open face biscuit with plenty of Gravy on top. (I didn't take a pic because I was in the small booth next to what I assume is the back door. The sun was casting shadows so I missed a great photo op). Looks are deceiving. This is some seriously good stuff. So simple but Sooooooo Good. Please don't ever change this recipe. I will be back!
