The office team were very welcoming and informative as we were preparing for our adventure making sure we all had on the right equipment to keep us warm. We had SO much fun on this tour. People are grouped into bunches of up to approximately 12, and then are further segragated into groups of approximately 4. On the trail, the guides assess your driving ability and then regroup the pairs of people such that each pair is coupled with another of comparable riding ability. Because we have considerable experience on motorcycles and ATVs, we really appreciated not having to drive at a snail's pace or stop frequently due to other customers overly cautious driving. On the other hand, I'm sure those who have little to no experience on these types of vehicles were happy to take a slow and leisurely pace in which they could sight see and feel extremely safe. My party and I had an excellent experience on this tour. Each couple chose the double riding option as we could alternate as desired. Plus if you factor in the cost for a single rider $180 vs $230 for a double (without taxes and fees of course), it was a no brainer. Besides, us ladies refused to drive alone lol. Book in advanced to ensure your group will ride together. BTW, there is a mandatory $20 insurance fee in order to complete booking. I suggest you arrive as recommended, 1 hour prior to the tour. You are required to sign waivers, get fitted for your helmets, grab snow boots (optional), and watch the short safety video. I HIGHLY advise you pay attention to this video! Especially, if this is your first time. BIG TIP, let go of your right hand (the accelerator) if frighten. Lol. You can also rent snow suits for a small fee. Ooh, use the restroom this time, as there are no breaks. A bus will then proceed to take the entire scheduled groups to the tour destination. The instructors will once again review safety procedures and vehicle operations/handling. Again, PLEASE LISTEN, give them your full undivided attention! These tips will come in handy. They will also group you off and hand you a sheet to mark down any flaws, dents, damages that you can visibly see on your snowmobile. I read reviews to throughly check, so I did. Lol. The tour guides do give you a short practice run. I only wished it was more than one lap a person. When it was my turn, as a beginner, I did not think I was adequately prepared. The scenery was nice. It was midday on a Saturday in March and the weather was perfect. The mountain is pretty spectacular in the winter. Of course the men in our group wanted to go faster. Our guide did take us to open fields along the tour. This was when the fellas really got into it. The highlight of the tour. I, myself, even drove up to 25mph, a fast enough speed for me lol We did appreciate the complimentary apple cider after getting back. :-) read more

We had such a great time! We booked an afternoon two- hour tour on a Saturday and arrived an hour early as instructed. You'll be told to park behind the business, so just a heads up about that. We signed paperwork and were fitted for helmets before watching a short safety video. A shuttle took everyone to the mountain where the guides and snowmobiles were waiting. The guide gave an overview on how to operate it before letting everyone take it for a spin around a flat corn field. There were about 4 or 5 snowmobiles in our tour, which was a great size. The guide led the tour and looked back frequently to ensure everyone was following. We stopped once to switch riders and then again at the end when we stopped at the bottom of the mountain. We were given about 10 minutes to take our snowmobiles for a spin on a round flat field. At the end of the tour the shuttle brought us back and we were all given hot apple cider. Overall, super friendly staff, fun and beautiful trails and great snowmobiles! Definitely recommend. read more

The snowmobile tour is a 2 hour long session and costs $150 for a single rider or $195 for a double + an additional $20 for a damage policy. They take reservations for various time slots throughout the day. You need to get there an hour early in order to sign waivers and get equipment. When we got there, they fitted us for snow boots and helmets. Then, we watched a short instructional video regarding the snowmobile. Afterwards, they gave us directions to the actual snowmobile area. Once we arrived at the snowmobile area, we had an instructor/guide waiting there for us. He gave us a demo of how the snowmobile operates and then we got started. For the first 30 minutes, we went on basic trails with easy turns and steady inclines/declines. Our guide would look back and check on us every few minutes to make sure we were doing ok. We stopped to take a break after the first trail and then proceeded to advance to a more challenging trail that had sharper turns and steeper hills. We also increased our average speed since we were all comfortable with the snowmobiles. With 15 minutes left of our 2 hour session, our guide took us to an open field where we were allowed to free ride. This allowed us to go up to speeds of almost 60 mph and do wide turns. This was a great end to a session since we got to pretty much do whatever we wanted for a little bit. It was a nice change in pace and very thrilling. Our guide even took pictures and videos for us so we could take some memories back with us afterwards. The whole experience was really fun and 2 hours was definitely enough time snowmobiling. The people who work there are all very friendly, informative, patient and just a great group of people. They really make sure you get your money's worth and for 2 hours we were fully satisfied with the experience. We didn't have snow pants, as we are not skiers, so they rented us snow suits for $15 each and it was definitely worth it. They provide helmets and snow boots which is included.
