Streat Breakfast $7.50 on special regular $9.50!

Brahhhh so ono! My suggestion is to try everything! My wife and I been coming here from before when they only did food truck events and now that they get one shop off sand island and it's only 5 mins from our house it's even better! Everything is ono and you won't be disappointed.

My go to for the best plate lunches! Every food truck event I go to, I always look for this one! And most times, they're there! They are always hustlin' & always have a line. I mostly visit this truck at Pearl Country Club (now Pearl At Kalauao) for their monthly night market. My #1 to get here is their Salmon Katsu Overload and it's only $20!! It comes with 1-2 filets of fried katsu, topped with imitation crab, mayo, unagi sauce & Taegu! Not only that, salad, a bed of rice, & a kings Hawaiian roll. Overall, great deal for such a hefty plate! I'll definitely be looking out for this truck at my next food truck event!

My husband was scrolling in the yelp app and saw several yelpers yelp this place on sand island access road. So today being a holiday we tried them. And boy the yelpers weren't kidding about the food. Thanks to yelper friend Allen N. He had the pork adobo fried rice and boy hes wasnt joking it was good and alot. My husband had their mini breakfast with bacon. Wow 3 eggs any way you like it made and 2 thick slices of bacon. My husband said it was too much rice for him. But it was good. My fried rice was good in the taste and the pork had some fat and lots of meat. The taste was spot on good. I have the leftover for my dinner and my husband will have smoke pork belly plate for he's dinner. No dessert today I ask the cashier and she smile. Maybe this week might have don't know. Will be back again. Please note: They do make it fresh so be expecting to wait for your food.

After reading reviews from Jo Y. and Allen N. I told my wife let's give Str Eats of Aloha a try. Yes this is simple eatery. An interior is just a display counter for their desserts and a register. Along with a menu display sign. Service was friendly. They had a sign letting you know that food is prepared to order and it would take a few minutes to do your order. I ordered a mini breakfast with Guava Bacon. It came with two thick slices of bacon and three eggs made your way. I also ordered the Guava Pork Belly for my dinner. My wife had the Pork Adobo Fried rice. We both enjoyed our food and would not hesitate to come back.. Lots of food for the price. Jo Y. and Allen N. thanks for your reviews of this restaurant. Enjoy

Str'Eats of Aloha is a hidden gem in the Sand Island area. Generous portions, bold local flavors, and a wide selection. Everything made to order, so be prepared to wait, especially during the lunch rush, the line can get quite long. Highly recommend a pork adobo with fried rice. The taste is ono.

After following Str'Eats of Aloha for almost an entire year, I was finally able to catch the food truck at the Megabon Hawaii 2025. If you know this place, you're familiar with the large plates of food put out on front of the truck, all consisting of local and asian comfort foods such as shrimp katsu, Teri beef, fried noodles, and more. I ordered the Town & Country, which came with two massive shrimp katsu on a bed or of char sui fried noodles, an order of teri beef, and a large scoop of rice. If you see this food truck, run, don't walk to it. The food is ono, and you'll be wanting more as soon as you wake up from your kanak attack.

I heard good things about Str'Eats of Aloha and decided to stop by for lunch. The young lady taking orders was really nice and patient as I asked about the different plates. I ended up getting two #2 bentos , which came with a piece of shrimp tempura, mandoo, garlic chicken, teriyaki beef, noodles and rice. I also got two guava smoked meat plates and a dozen butter rolls. The plates were $14.50 each, and they are really generous with the portions; the plates were worth the price. The garlic chicken was really flavorful and paired well with the noodles. The mandoo had a really nice umami flavor that went nicely with the teriyaki beef and noodles. My daughter and son-in-law both agreed that the smoked meat was absolutely delicious, but everyone agreed that the butter rolls were absolutely perfect! They were super soft and absolutely delicious! This will be my go-to place for butter rolls from now on. I'll definitely be back to try the roast brisket with gravy because I heard good things about this plate, and they were sold out when I got there.

Absolutely mean plates for the money. Can't even finish it in one sitting even though the taste buds want more.

Located I. Sand island, parking can be tight at peak hours, was lucky , got a spot. Called in order, they do get busy. Ordered, Da manapua special, was winnahazzz. Kinda close to when I was a child. 2 pork hash, fried noodles and fried chicken. I also ordered the lechon kawali, was another winnahazzz! They sell desserts, wanted to get the ube cream puff but I think it's on certain days. This shop is only take out. Friendly staff, and many other specials. Will definitely come back, see you there .

Went to Str'Eats of Aloha and got a Bento #2 which came with Teri beef, Garlic Chicken, shrimp Tempura, Mandoo over a bed of fried Noodles with rice and furikake. ok I've been meaning to eat here for a while and I guess it was worth the wait the Teri beef tasted good although not the flavor of old times it was good. The Garlic Chicken was tasty and the noodles were as good as it gets. The Mandoo was okay but good enough and the Shrimp Tempura was pretty good too. The plate(Bento) reminded me of some old Massive plate lunch spot of long ago was so heavy! Parking was adequate although I can see it get crowded at times. The counter girl was pleasant and made the experience good. I definitely would come back again!

Located right off Nimitz Hwy, on Sand Island Access Road in a small strip mall. Greeted by a friendly face, the gal taking the orders didn't rush us to decide. Take note: they aren't a fast food restaurant. They make everything as it's ordered. So if you're in a rush, maybe try someplace else that day. Both bentos were packed heavily & piping hot. Fried noodles weren't anything to complain about but weren't as tasty as others I've had. Teri-beef was soft & flavorful, mochiko chicken was hearty & tasty. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.

    Town & Country - delicious!

Both experiences were absolute culinary delights. It has been a long time since we've discovered another true destination restaurant in Hawaii, one that stands alongside favorites like Fête and a very select few others on the islands. In fact, Faria would fit seamlessly into the dining scenes of our favorite places--Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Tribeca, Soho, Paris--or even right at home. What sets Faria apart and places it in such elite company comes down to several things, all equally important. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, the genuine aloha spirit defines the experience. The floor staff move with an effortless grace, almost like a choreographed dance, and their knowledge of each dish feels as though they've cooked them themselves. The ambiance transports you directly to a charming Portuguese fishing village--warm, immaculate, and inviting. The owners, too, embody genuine hospitality: present but never overbearing, driven simply by their love for what they do. While we are not experts on Portuguese cuisine, we were instantly captivated by the depth and complexity of flavors layered throughout each dish. As wine educators and consultants, we especially appreciated the thoughtful wine selections, each pairing beautifully with the food. Our experience concluded perfectly with a memorable taste of a stunning Port wine. Over the course of our two visits, we enjoyed: * Bolinhos de Bacalhau // Cod + Potato Croquettes with lemon and herb mayo * Linguiça Assada // House linguica, served sizzling over a flame * Portuguese Bean Soup // A hearty blend of cabbage, sausage, smoked ham, and white beans * Granny Pereira's Piripiri Chicken // Whole roasted chicken leg with piripiri spice rub, lemon potatoes, and braised cabbage * Vinha D'alhos (Garlic Pork) // Braised pork with garlic, white wine, braised cabbage, and pão da lareira Each dish was prepared with obvious passion, precision, and respect for tradition, while still feeling vibrant and fresh. Faria is not just another new restaurant in Kailua--it's a rare gem and a true destination in its own right. We can't wait to return. 9/17/2025 RETURNED Couldn't wait to return. Asked for the same table, no problem. Same amazing greeting as if we are family. The service should be cloned and sold to the. Highest bidder. We were tempted to order the same items but decided to do a 180 degree and we ordered three totally different dishes. Each one was as good or better than our last visit. Check out the photos. July 8, 2026 Just another awesome dinner. The Portuguese Bean soup is incredible. Try out their new wines.

I was told that not all their dishes were stellar and now that I've experienced this I can attest to such. Really had a hankering for shrimp & chose the Mozambique although I was forewarned it was spicy and others have sent it back. I suggested if they would adjust the amount of sauce in the dish. Nope not possible as this is how the dishes are prepared & each dish tells a story. Ok, I should have asked to hear the story. But we know anything is possible and my request was not ridiculous.... I do enjoy spicy but honestly the peri peri sauce overpowers the excellently cooked shrimp & couscous. Unfortunately I could not finish it. Since it was my birthday I should have something I'm throughly enjoying. It was taken back and replaced with the peri peri chicken. Now the funniest thing is I am familiar with peri peri sauce. Expected more from this chicken dish but it really was too mild. I didn't mind that it wasn't super succulent but it lacked in flavor. However the cabbage and potatoes that accompanied it were lovely. I still like this restaurant overall in spite of a mildly disappointing experience. I also would have appreciated if they did not charge me $34 for the dish I could not finish on my bd. Honestly, Goen would never do that. It's very rare every dish in a restaurant is excellent. So you just need to know what to order. FYI, they must have the best wings in town!
