I cannot recommend Strada Services based on my recent experience. I have been a Strada Services customer and have kept my system on their preventative maintenance plan. When my air conditioner stopped working, I called them because they had replaced my blower motor about one year and two months ago. I paid a $189 diagnostic fee for a technician to determine the problem. The technician confirmed that the blower motor had failed. This was especially frustrating because it was the exact same blower motor that Strada Services had replaced only fourteen months earlier, despite my system being maintained under their preventative maintenance program. Instead of discussing why a recently replaced blower motor had failed so quickly, I was immediately asked whether I changed my air filter or whether lightning had struck my home. For the record, I change my air filter every month, and there was no lightning event between the time the AC was working and when it failed. The technician informed me that the replacement blower motor was still under warranty, but I would have to pay labor because the labor warranty expired after one year. While I understand that companies have written warranty policies, I questioned whether I should really be paying labor again when a blower motor they replaced lasted only fourteen months. I was told that someone from the parts department would contact me the next morning to schedule the repair. After hearing nothing, I called first thing in the morning. I explained my concerns to customer service and was promised a callback within an hour. Two hours later, after still not hearing from anyone, I called again. I spoke with a supervisor, then the technician supervisor, and finally a manager. Every conversation ended with the same answer: because the labor warranty had expired by two months, they would not make any exception. I asked a straightforward question: "Should I expect to replace this blower motor every year?" I never received a meaningful answer. One additional comment from customer service also concerned me. I was told they would "send a qualified technician this time" to replace the blower motor. That statement made me question the quality of the previous repair. Ultimately, the manager told me I was welcome to use another HVAC company if I wasn't satisfied. I intend to do exactly that. I understand companies have warranty policies, but I also expect a company to stand behind its work--especially for a customer who pays for ongoing preventative maintenance and whose replacement blower motor failed after only fourteen months. Unfortunately, this experience left me with little confidence in Strada Services, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

My Home is just 1 year old, Strada put in the AC Unit when it was being built. Found out that my Interior Air Handler was Leaking onto my Air filter. My Builder got them to come out under Warranty, then the Tech arrived. The Tech called Sammy his Boss who said no that Rusted Coil is Not under Warranty with Carrier. I called Carrier and they said it was and that I could have another company replace it. I guess Warranty does not pay enough for Sammy, thats ashame that people can be that unprofessional. Now the Builder has to get more involved to get this resolved and a Tech has to come out again, Ugh! Im sure Mr. Strada would not be happy with this experience that I had. read more

Due to recent spate of power outages in my area, the power surges took out my HVAC unit. I recently had Strada HVAC service come over to diagnose the issue. The tech came within the promised time frame and was courteous. After some testing, the tech determined that it was a failed blower motor. He was very knowledgeable, explained the issue clearly, and walked me through the options without trying to push unnecessary repairs. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism. The diagnostic fee they charge is reasonable. It gave me confidence that the work will be done right. Everything is running smoothly now, and I wouldn't hesitate to call Strada again in the future. read more

Sadly, this place has gone downhill. They stole our money. We prepaid for two services. Last November they came out to do the second service and the gentleman did not what he needed nor did he know how to do it so he said they would call us back. We've been trying to get them out here since last November and it is now March. We have lost so much time meeting the gentleman and calling their office every few days.They also don't answer their phone and they keep saying they will call back but they don't. Our air conditioning unit went down. We called Strada to check out the unit. Upon arrival the technician appeared inept and called his service manager. We were told that we needed a compressor which cost us $4600. The air conditioning unit is only five years old. After installing the new compressor the air conditioning unit went down again the following day. We had Strada send a different technician and come out again. He found out the capacitor was broken and needed to be replaced. It appeared that we were given the wrong information and were up-charged so that they could put an expensive compressor into our unit. After emailing them and talking to the responsible supervisor for our area the company did not acknowledge their mistake or dubious business practices. read more

One of their vans GFQ012 was driving aggressively on the 429. Riding up on cars when there was nowhere to even go. He nearly slammed into the back of one car trying to make him go faster when everyone was already driving at the speed limit or the legal 5 over. It was so dangerous when there were already trucks ahead of all of us. read more

Strada Services sent technicians out to my house 17 times between 07/24 through 10/24 and could not fix the AC system that Strada installed in our new house in 02/2023. I had to hire Direct AC in Bunnell FL to replace the whole system at my own expense. Going forward I advise people to hire a small independent AC company where you are dealing with the owner day one not a corporation where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. read more

Complete rip off, I have an annual service agreement in place with them for maintenance. They serviced my 3 year old generate in October of 2024. In January the generator had a red light and required service so I called them to have someone take a look. It was only in need of a new battery so I agreed to have it replaced however they still charged me a service fee of $144 to come out for service. I called in to ask why this is and they state this isn't a maintenance call and they have to charge for service when the generator isn't working. My contract states No Diagnostic FEES under this agreement in case of Service Visits needed. I have cancelled my annual service with this company which was $500 a year. They lost of a customer that would auto renew annually if they did fair business but this is just not OK and the manager didn't seem to care. read more

I paid over and over to fix a problem that turned out not to be the problem. Literally thousands of dollars went out the window for nothing. Finally, I just bought a new system. Guess what? I have problems with the new system too. Then they say they will be over between 8-1PM. Guess what they wind up showing up at 4PM or later. So I am left waiting all day for nothing. I asked them if they could at least tell me before 8am if I am first or last etc on the list. Nope, can't do that. I am not sure which office did my service. End of June 2024, lightning near my home wiped out some appliances, including my air conditioner. It took the full month of July for Strata to DX the problem, get the proper item ordered, multiple servicemen working on the case, then finally a functioning system. I was told they would bill me. I never received a bill and I just thought they were able to be paid through the warranty. This past week, I got a call from Tabor Recovery that, due to multiple attempts to collect this debt, they were placing a lien on my home. Strata NEVER contacted me regarding the bill and NEVER sent a bill or email. Now, with a financial hardship with my husband's passing in May 2025, I am forced to pay this bill without any reasonable recourse. He is the one who signed the invoice dated July 22, 2024. They have the bill as a service of 1 day, July 22, 2024, BUT this work took place over July. We had to purchase a $1500.00 portable air conditioner to cool the house in the month of July. Why they never billed me or called me, I have NO IDEA. But to be turned into the collector WITHOUT attempting to bill me is not the way to do business. I do not recommend using them even though they may be used by the builder. read more

I have Duke's electrician plan, and whenever I have an issue, they send out Strada. Let me tell you about my experience with this company. Every time they come out, they're unable to fix the problem on the first visit. Honestly, it feels like their main purpose is to charge Duke unnecessarily. Today, the technician claimed there were code violations preventing him from completing the job. Interestingly, these same code issues never stopped them from working previously. You can't reach the local office on the phone and if you call the Florida number they switch you to the local number. The worst is when I finally made an appointment for routine maintenance they were a no show. After calling all afternoon the answer service finally got a message to someone that called me a liar and said there was no way I had made my appointment when I did. These people suck! read more

Last Friday I was told a tech would be at my home Monday between 1pm and 6pm. I then got a text Monday that the tech would be there Tuesday. I called to establish an arrival time on Tuesday. I was told a 4:30 arrival. 20 minutes later I got another phone call asking me to "schedule a service". Later I received a text to say the tech would be 2 hours late. The initial appointment was to be between 1 and 6 on Monday. The tech finally showed up after all this at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. I declined the service. Luckily we were waiting for a part replacement. This is going to be a long, detailed rant. No I don't want to talk to the owner (who from what I have read here on Yelp isn't the owner anyway), I wanted you people to do what you said, when you said you would do it. Can you give this company a negative rating? Our air conditioner went out on Saturday 7/13/2024 at about noon (95 degrees in Orlando). Since our house was built in 2022 (of course after our 1-year warranty) and Strada was the company that installed it (their business card was on the until and on all our paperwork from the closing) we called them. I think the unit itself is covered under warranty but I may need to pay for labor. You sit on hold FOREVER and no one ever answered. I got a response from the chat feature (assuming it was a real person) and we agreed to pay the $189+repair fee for the weekend service. I got an email confirmation with my appointment confirmation that day on Sat between 5p-8pm. I also got on line and scheduled a repair for Tuesday just in case figuring I can always cancel it. At 4:59pm I got an email saying that my tech "Chris Beasley" is on his way... no one showed up. Ok, things happen and I understand that. I called early the next day and spoke to a lady (I didn't get her name since I figured they would do what they say) and I asked what happened to Chris. She apologized and said that she would put in the emergency ticket since it was going to be 92 on Sunday and we were without AC. She would send the ticket right over to the main office and have someone sent out. I got a confirmation email at 11:05 am that my tech would be out between 8:55 am -10:55 am (yep, I got the email AFTER they were already late) SMH. Surprise, surprise no tech on Sunday. I called on Monday July 15th and spoke to Nikki and told her everything that had happened. The no tech(s), the confirmation emails etc. I asked if my appointment tomorrow was still on the books and she said "yes, it is" I got 2 emails that day to confirm my appointment. Today is Tuesday the 16th and I called them again at 2:43 pm on the office number of 1-877-906-1113 and spoke to Felicia. She said that I have two techs that are scheduled to come out (Gavin or Cesear) and she will get in touch with them and have them contact me with an ETA. 3:39 pm they texted and said the tech is running late and will be on his way in an hour to hour and a half. 5:05 pm I asked if the tech is still coming out. After I sent them a text letting them know that when they see the negative reviews in Yelp and Google, they would be mine did I finally get a call from the techs. They finally came out at 8pm and couldn't find anything wrong (SMH) ran their leak detector around and said "obviously there is a leak since your freon is about 1/3 down, but we can't find it" I would have to pay them to run a Nitrogen test ($650) to find the source of the leak. And they charged me $144 for the diagnostic visit. Still no AC. Warranty or no, I can't have my family sitting in the heat due to this company's repeated incompetence, neglect, and negligence. Call ANYONE else to fix your AC!! read more

Beware of Strada. I called to get hvac fixed. Tech was there for 3 hours ($144 service fee - twice as much as others). He asked for the manual, then he asked for a ladder, then he never found issue but added refrigerant and wanted to charge me $1200 for txv valve, saying it was bad. Funny thing is I just had it replaced. So they left and did nothing. I had a 2nd opinion and txv valve is fine. And now tech is calling me demanding payment and asking why I complained, when he blocked the driveway and stood in front of the door when str guests were trying to get into the villa, and tech said in ring camera, I need to know who is going to pay me. Seriously? They have a dept for that. He just stood there and blocked them. He was there for 4 hours and nothing was fixed. Then I get a call asking for the money because they ordered the part. I said no to getting another txv valve. I dont need one! Worse service ever. Call someone else. I called the office person and asked for an update while they were there, and she said I am sure he if doing a thorough examination. I asked her to check if he needed help. He was there for 4 hours, says the mini split is leaking, but cant find leak, so filled us with refrigerant ($350) and then left . I wish I would have seen these reviews earlier. read more

Had a spot on my ceiling where drywall was peeling. My dad looked in attic to find the duct had condensation and was dripping. Called Strada since they installed the unit in a new build. They arrived and found that when the unit was installed it was not sealed properly which caused air from outside to get in and produced condensation and the dripping and resulted in the duct being damaged and needing replaced. Strada says that its not under warranty cause it's the duct only the unit is under warranty. If it was installed properly and sealed correctly the duct would not need replacing. They want me to pay for a new duct to be installed because of their incompetence. If they don't uphold their work, why would I pay to have them fix their mistake. I will do my business elsewhere if they do not make it right. Very unprofessional. Quality of work is terrible. read more

Strata representative, Kevin Baxter did some electrical at my home today. I was given a time between noon and 4:00pm when he would show up, he arrived shortly after 1:00pm. I had a ground fault receptacle needing replaced, removal of a surge protector and correction on multiple double tab connections in my main electrical panel. After showing the work to Kevin, he gathered his tools out of his truck and went right to work, completing everything needed. He was knowledgeable, efficient, wasted no time at all. He was polite and explained while he was completing the work. Unfortunately I don't have the name of the lady I initially spoke to, but she was very pleasant and was definitely customer service focused. I have never heard of Strada but would not hesitate to call them for future electrical work. read more

As a follow up to my 6/23 post last year, I continue to have issues with the $3k of electrical work performed by Strada. I just hired another electrical contractor to remediate the work performed by Strada. It seems that Strada was in violation of the National Electric Code by dropping Romex into a wet location. Strada had offered to refund half of my $3k last June, if I signed a non-disclosure agreement. Of course I did not, as I would lose all recourse. You never get to talk to Joe or his Customer service manager, only the woman that picks up his dry cleaning and takes his kids to school (Fixer) about these matters. Again, avoid Strada at all costs, and it may save you or your loved one's lives!!! read more

I was in contact with them last week and was told I would get a call back to discuss and issue occurring from a previous res placement and never did. Now after the hurricane I was without power for 3 days and after it came back on the A/C is not working. So I have been calling since yesterday evening and they keep saying a tech will call me back. Finally I get someone to transfer me to a tech that said he could come out. After discussing he said he needed to talk to his supervisor and would call back in 5 minutes. It's been over an hour and he hasn't responded, won't pick up calls, and has a full voicemail. Terrible customer service. I wish One Stop never got bought by them. Update: The review was updated from 1 to 3 stars for the following reason. Once the week started, the full time customer service people were very nice and attentive and it seems the after hour representatives were the bad eggs (they sounded and acted like they could care less and did everything they could to not stay in contact). I was finally able to get someone out here to fix the issue and they were very helpful and informative. However, due to the experience of the after hour representatives and those dealt with over the weekend I can't update past 3 stars. read more

They charge ridiculous amounts and then won't give you an itemized receipt. I believe they over charge customers and don't provide receipts. I will NEVER use them again. I've used them once ...2 months ago. AC cut out..ended up being a minor issue but they were at my house within 1 day in the middle of summer. They had it up and running in 1 hour. Price was about $100 less than DelAir typically charged me in the past. I have no reason to doubt their abilities. I'm hoping to get 1 or 2 more years out of my current system. I will continue to call Strada for maintenance issues until that time. If all goes well I will certainly look to them for a replacement unit when the time comes. read more

If you need an electrician, don't come here. We just purchased a new home and Strada Electric wired the entire house. While cleaning our kitchen cabinets today we noticed the large holes in the dry wall and live wires that are wrapped together with electrical tape like an apprentice put this together. It makes me wonder how crappy the rest of the house is wired. read more

Len and Henry came out to my home and fixed a problem that I caused myself. I was drilling a hole in the drywall to insert a molly bolt, when I saw a spark and the circuit breaker turned off. I looked into the drilled hole and saw a reflection, so I knew that I had hit a wire. I called Strada where Jeff handled my case with courtesy. He scheduled Len and Henry to come within 48 hours of the incident. The two electricians worked expertly and efficiently and had us back in business in no time. The cost was very fair. Ken Harris, our Strada AC Residential Replacement Specialist, worked with us to replace our ailing 17 year old HVAC system. After looking over our existing equipment, Ken carefully explained what he recommended for our house and personal needs. He offered us an excellent price for a new Carrier system and we had our system installed within 3 days of signing our contract. Ken selected a thermostat with WiFi which he assured me was easy to program. He did not disappoint. The installers were professional, efficient and respectful. Strada offers a very affordable replacement air filters online service which I took advantage of. They also have a reasonably priced maintenance contract as well. I'm a first time customer of Strada Services and I am very satisfied with my decision. read more

Attention all One Stop (OS) now recently acquired by Strada Services (SS) customers. In short should you have purchased a Service Warranty Plan (SWP) by OS it will not be honored as of 8/11 (and possibly before then per past reviewers). Parts may be covered due to your manufacturer warranty but keep in mind any AC servicer will be able to cover parts should your unit still be in its manufacturer warranty period. In order to compensate for these warranties OS now SS is charging excessive labor charges to its previous OS warranty customers. I was quoted a labor charge approximately $600-800 more than three other local AC companies to fix an evaporator coil/TXV valve. Do not hire this company. Customer service will not get back to you efficiently and you will be overcharged. I bought a new construction townhome in 12/18 with an AC unit installed by OS. In 4/20 my high pressure valve broke. We purchased a Service Warranty Plan (SWP) in 2020 which we have kept and renewed each year most recently in 3/22 for over $400. In early 8/22 on a Thursday my AC unit was not cooling appropriately so I called OS. After a failed overnight call I called again the next morning and was scheduled for an appointment the following Monday from 8-1 pm. At 1:05 pm on Monday my technician had not showed up. It took about 45 minutes worth of calling from multiple phone lines and being placed on hold to reach a representative at One Stop who answered the phone as "Strada Services" to my surprise. I was told my technician was running behind and I was the next stop. At 3:30 pm the technician still had not arrived. I called again and was told he had stopped somewhere else before me. At 4:35 my technician arrived without the 30 minute call ahead I was promised by two employees on the phone. My unit was diagnosed with an interior leak and patched "for approximately $1,000 worth of labor/parts but good thing I had the SWP because this would be expensive" per the technician. I was charged $25 per my contract and told the part was not on hand and had to be ordered and fixed at a later date. The following morning I was called by Marissa from the parts department and a voicemail was left saying I had to approve $1400 in order to order the evaporation coil and TXV part. All day I could not get through to one person at One Stop/Strada. I was told by a receptionist my warranty would be honored and they'd have someone from service or parts call me back. No one did. The next day I called again and finally got through to someone who said as of Thursday August 11 they were not honoring the SWP. My parts were covered under my manufacturer warranty but I would owe $1400 in labor alone despite my plan being honored two days ago. Two days prior everything was covered under the same ticket that was not resolved. The original man I spoke with even stated he felt my quote was high, but upon speaking with parts it was the correct quote for labor. One Stop now Strada has quoted me a significantly higher charge compared to 3 other AC companies to fix the same problem. Per the man spoken with who denied my SWP One Stop has been acquired and filed bankruptcy. If Strada has in fact only purchased the assets of this company then current and future customers should know you will be burned and uncompensated. I used to find both One Stop and Strada reputable companies but their customer service, efficiency and inability to handle a transition has changed this opinion greatly. I wish I had seen the below reviews before calling them and dealing with such incompetent and rude customer service. I encourage you to seek alternative companies whether large or small. I ironically use Strada Services for my security as they performed my installation in 2019. They have replaced my entire circuit breaker as Strada Electric in 2022 after multiple failed breakers from initially installing faulty ones and taking fault for it. I'm incredibly disappointed in their acquisition of the AC department and would never consider services with this company again. read more

i had one of the worst experiences with Strada. i called several times and avbergae hold time was over 30 minutes. they are more concerned about ensuring you know it will be $144 dollar service cal then answering the phone or returning your call. I had to have the motor replaced on air handler. The part was covered under warranty and took the repairman 20 minutes of work. The price for the just the labor was quoted at over $500. Costumer Service is a challenge for their company and hope they can provide more training to raise the level of even their managers that still has not return several calls about how his customer service is at his location. read more
