The food is so good! Just fresh and fulfilling. I loved my sandwich and it was made to order! A great staple in this area for selecting your favorite things to eat on the everyday basis. A nice restaurant inside, clean, and the service is always friendly! 5 stars

Straight Outta Philly (Local Chain Review) 4250 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32935 4.5 Star I've had takeout from Straight Outta Philly on several occasions; however, this was my first time stepping inside any one of their three locations. As I found the owner, Mike Grillakis manning the counter along with the delightful and knowledgeable K.C. helping out, I certainly made the correct choice in locations! As I mentioned, I have had takeout before and it has always been outstanding. In-person, I asked K.C. for one Elijah's Pepperoni Addiction Cheese Steak and one loaded Italian Stallion Hoagie. While Mike was working his magic on making my order, I asked K.C. if I could have a sample of their Gyro meat. While it was not on a spit, as your official dragoman, I can assure you it is the real deal Gyro meat. I have spoken. Taking a seat, I snapped some pics and waited for my sandwiches. First up on my palate was Elijah's Pepperoni Addiction Cheese Steak. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times: the key to any fantastic sandwich is the bread. If the bread sucks, the rest is moot. I failed to ask (my bad), so I don't know if Mike makes his own bread on-site or if he purchases it fresh every morning. Regardless, it is spectacular. The bread is fresh, warm, flaky on the outside and chewy on the inside. Perfecto! The toppings were on par with the base as the flavors magnificently mingled in my mouth. Turning my attention to the Loaded Italian Stallion Hoagie was not an easy thing to accomplish, but for the sake of you, the reader, I managed to succeed. Again, the sandwich bread was extraordinary and the toppings were fresh, tasty, crunchy, savory and overall amazing. What a fantastic Hoagie! Hey! Fast food sandwich chains, (I'm talking to you Jersey Mike's and Subway), pay heed to this guy! It is obvious to the casual observer that Mike and his employees care about the hash they sling and it shows through with love. If more restaurant owners were like Mr. Grillakis, Brevard County would become a dining Mecca of the Southeast. The Big Boy says, "...as I leave, believe I'm stompin'/But when I come back boy, I'm coming straight outta Philly (Philly, Philly, Philly). OK, so I can't rap, but you can do your taste buds a favor and head over to your nearest Straight Outta Philly location. You won't be disappointed."

This was a "damn good Philly cheesesteak sandwich" - my fiancé I couldn't agree with him more. It was delicious and we would definitely go back for the good sized, fresh, hot and spicy delicious sandwich when we are back in town.

So I had a cheesstwak from their previous location and I wasn't impressed at all. Today I gave it another shot as I alway try to do at their new location on Wickham rd. Total 180, this cheesesteak was very tasty and a huge improvement over my last experience. I would only say that the roll was a bit wet but indeed a quality roll. I will be back and I wish them luck at their new location.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time and so on a Wednesday afternoon I decided to…read moredo just that. The Intracoastal Amber Red Ale is a local IPA and was cold and refreshing ($6.50). My Aloha Burger ($9.50) consisted of a Teriyaki-Marinated Angus Beef Patty, Swiss Cheese, Grilled Pineapple Slice, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Creamy Teriyaki Aioli, all on a Toasted Brioche Bun. The Aloha Burger was marked on the menu as a local favorite and I found it to be very good. Be warned though, this is a pretty messy burger and if you don't abide by the old phrase of "finger licking good", then you might find this sandwich somewhat challenging, ha! My server was polite and efficient. The indoor seating consists of a bar area with 14 seats along an "L" shaped bar along with 4 high top tables. Also along the far wall there's 8 smaller tables. The outdoor covered patio area consists of both 2-person tables and also 4-person tables. There's also a smaller bar with seating for about 10 people. Happy Hour is Monday - Friday, 3-7pm, with $1.00 off wines and mixed drinks, $2.00 off drafts. All Day Specials include $3.00 Landsharks and $5.00 Margaritas. Also on Wednesdays they feature a "Burger & Brew" special - any burger and a craft draft for $8.50 (after 5pm only - much to my dismay). I will be back to try their tacos which look pretty amazing. Stop in and give them a try.

Then I saw the Chef special board and was like what is going on in here? The intrigue of the Miami wings and the tile fish taco special was too much for this foodie to pass up. I got a table within a minute or two and sat down on the beautiful dock side on a gorgeous day. We enjoyed all kinds of aerial acrobatics, two baby dolphins cruising around, but the real star was the food. I had a mahi-mahi Caribbean bowl that was simply outrageously flavored, it was definitely on the sweeter side, but I have no complaints. The Miami wings were a knockout, even though they were an entrée we had them as an appetizer. It was the perfect amount for two to share. I can only say that everything else on the menu at our table had fresh fish and was awesome. I definitely recommend this place for the vibe, which is sort of upscale beachy, and the best coastal dining menu without the prices of high rent locations in the city limits. This was a quieter location, on the water, great service, and I will admit that I kind of fell in love. Can't wait to go back to this foodie heaven! Keep changing it up chef!

Its a shame to…read morehave the kind of place on the water, staff as happy and friendly as youd expect, but the food is not good. I don't know how else to explain, but you can tell when proteins haven't been "washed". There is a raw, gamey like taste that was present in the chicken wings, then again in the fish. It was to the point I could not eat it and my wife had to share her shrimp and grits. The grits were well attended to, stirred occasionally, seasoned well and very creamy. The shrimp was flavorful and it all paired well. The sauce on what I believe was called "miami" flavored, was good, but the chicken was not edible unless you would bite a chicken in the wild. I won't be back.

We also ordered the colossal shrimp and they were definitely worth the wait. I don't know what their seasoning combo is but it was excellent. We also split the burger and it came out fantastic with chips on the side. The chips paired well with the fish dip. The service was fantastic from the time we arrived. One of the staff immediately found a table for us and sat us. The staff, as a group, were very attentive and provided quick service. I would definitely go back. Also, there allow beach attire, so it makes for a good post beach dinner. The venue is open air which provides great views of the river. There is limited parking around the venue but at busy times, it may be difficult to find a spot.

It was a piece of fish in sauce with a small bowl of rice on the side. Pretty shocked to see it was $36 when we got the bill. Over all it was a one and done for us.

However, our fried food was light and golden and tasted fine. Daughter had the small cheeseburger and fried cheese sticks, and I had the Philly Steak sandwich and onion rings. She had a root beer and I had a coke. Food was good but not outstanding. She said her burger was a half-step above something one could get at Wendy's. My Philly was a B- at best. Good but again, nothing outstanding. The real shock was the bill was $48!!! In my opinion, way too expensive for a "burger joint". Their ranch sauce service was exceptional. Thanks for a great lunch. We will be back to try the dessert- deep fried Oreos and cheesecake bites! YUM!
