Had a good outdoor seating area for the dogs. We got the Vietnamese Coffee and the breakfast burrito. Vietnamese coffee was good, had a good flavor and everything to it, the breakfast burrito was a 2/5. Potatoes were starchy, biting into it gave a pool of cheese juice to the side which was not fun. Eggs were good and the sausage was fatty. Sauce was okay with. Wouldn't recommend probably for a long study sesh but for something in the morning and a quick pick up got the dogs, def a good try. Service was friendly! Burrito took a bit. Liked the newspapers and community bulletin in the store.

I was hopeful for a good cup of coffee, but left disappointed. The coffee shop is inside the same building as a seafood restaurant, and it looks as though staff works at both. They were understaffed, as the worker had been in the kitchen for the restaurant and appeared about 5 mins after to take our order. I ordered a seasonal cold brew, but it was super watered down and didnt have any flavor. It made it difficult to drink and I just took the loss since we were just visiting and on the road already. We also ordered the mini beignets, which it's unsure if these are made in house or brought in by another business. They tasted like a donut with Nutella filling instead of a traditional beignet. This probably wouldn't be my first option to come back to for coffee.

Came here on a last minute whim to get some studying done. I ordered the Cupids Cloud which has raspberry hibiscus milk tea with rose & strawberry it was actually really really yummy I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. On the first sip you really get the hibiscus tea and rose together it's really refreshing but can taste a little thick or syrupy. I also ordered the chocolate croissant which was sadly stale even tho warm! Really chewy and not soft- hard & inedible, but the chocolate was very sweet and yummy would love to try this fresh. I did come at the end of day around 3pm on a Sunday. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. Now this cafe is a combo with pier 402 an oyster restaurant so the outside does smell like fish/ crab boil which isn't a bad fish smell - just makes me want seafood and can be a little off putting if you're going for more "cozy cafe" vibe. The service was unwelcoming, judgmental, & told me to wait outside for my drinks for some reason even tho it was empty inside. I felt bad seemed like they were the only one making drinks and taking orders. Parking lot is for pier 402 customers only so be on the look out for street parking! I liked the taste of my drink the variety of drinks like smoothies etc, I like that they are open until 1900 and I enjoy the space even tho I was directed outside & stayed there due to not feeling welcome inside. I like that outside had lots of overhead shade as well

After my Bark in Park. We needed some coffee. So we headed for Crema. I like coming here for coffee and going next door to Greenlee. After checking their seasonal menu,we decided on the mooncake latte. Something different than PSL. I asked the barista for her opinion on weather it tastes better hot or iced. She recommended iced. I agree, It was slightly sweet and slightly nutty. It also has a strong presence of expresso. The place is huge, plenty of people talking and working. Not sure what needs to be done on a Sunday, but plenty of laptops out. Also as a side note for those who drink black coffee. I've had their plain coffee and it's pretty good. Not bitter or to strong.

Cute cup, latte was watery though

First of all the parking situation is pretty confusing here. Technically Crema is part of Pier 405 - so all of the parking spots in the back that are labeled for Pier 405 are also available for Crema customers, which wasn't clear to me until I asked the cashier inside. I came here on a Wednesday around noon and the place was basically empty. Service was so-so, I didn't feel like they were particularly welcoming. The latte I got was flavorless and watery which was disappointing for $7+. Lastly the ambiance was terrible here. Anyone looking for a nice coffee shop to sit down and work at, don't come here. You could sit down and use their wi-fi, but its not a good working environment. It's dark inside, not a lot of natural lighting, and the music is loud despite the place being empty. Vibes were just off.

I enjoyed the atmosphere when Crema was on the Alameda. Coffee was good. Espresso drinks were good. 1st time trying the coffee at Race steer. I ordered the campfire cold brew. It was ok. 3/5. Seemed a bit off balance, a little too sweet and coffee didn't taste fresh fresh.

While driving, I saw the Crema Coffee Roasting Co. logo on the side of the building, and was compelled to go in and get some coffee. I'm glad we did because they had a unique pumpkin coffee called Pumpkin Bumpkin Mocha. I do wish the flavor had more pumpkin flavor in it, but overall I still enjoyed the drink. Service was quick, ordering and paying at the cash register. There's plenty of options for indoor and outdoor seatings. Coffee shop comes recommended.

I wish I could leave 10 stars! This location is right across from some major construction but don't let that deter you! There's so much parking in midtown. Every time I come here, the baristas are so kind and welcoming. They work incredibly hard, and they make GOOD coffee. I don't drink dairy so I can't speak to items with dairy milk, but the oat & almond milk drinks I've ordered are so balanced and well priced. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Plus there's a lot of windows facing out, which provides great lighting if you're working. We ordered a hot and cold latte this day, as well as a vegetarian breakfast burritos. The ingredients for the burrito were so flavorful and fresh. I can't recommend this cafe enough!

quite chaotic and unorganized...lavender haze double latte (medium) $5.75 before tip...

    No they don't...

How's the parking situation here streetwise and parking lot wise?

It's not great. There some street/side street parking that is not much at all.

It's worked just fine for me.

Yes, but you can substitute it with almond milk or no milk

I've been coming to Chromatic ever since a friend introduced me to it, and after several visits,…read moreI've realized that the experience here is about much more than just coffee. Every time I walk in, the baristas take the time to ask questions about what I enjoy, how I like my coffee, and what flavors I'm looking for. They don't simply take an order they guide you through the process and genuinely seem passionate about helping customers discover something they'll love. It's clear they care deeply about coffee and creating an experience rather than just serving another cup. On my most recent visit, I came in looking for espresso beans. I was originally interested in their Gamut espresso blend but was also searching for something on the darker side. The cashier recommended their original espresso blend over the darker roast options. While it wasn't exactly what I had in mind, I trusted the recommendation because everyone I've interacted with here has been incredibly knowledgeable. A few minutes later, while I was waiting for my order, a gentleman approached me and asked, "Would you like to try something a little darker?" Of course, I said yes. He proceeded to pull a fresh espresso shot of their Opus roast and walked me through the flavor profile. It was exactly what I had been looking for. What impressed me most wasn't just the coffee it was the hospitality. He went completely out of his way to make sure I found the right coffee for my taste. He explained that they didn't have full bags of Opus available yet because they were still in the roasting process, but then generously offered me half a bag so I could pull a few shots at home for myself and my family. I've worked in hospitality for over 10 years, and this is the kind of service that truly stands out. It's the definition of going above and beyond to make a guest feel welcome and cared for. What really stuck with me was that after I tried the espresso, he came back and asked, "How was the finish on that shot for you?" It wasn't a casual question he genuinely wanted feedback and wanted to know if the coffee delivered what I was looking for. When I told him it was exactly right, he seemed just as excited as I was. Coffee can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when you're trying to learn more about different roasts, origins, and flavor profiles. Chromatic does an incredible job of making that experience approachable, personal, and enjoyable. They aren't just serving coffee they're creating meaningful experiences and tailoring them to each individual customer. This level of hospitality is rare, and it's why I'll continue coming back. Highly recommended.

It wasn't crazy busy so it was easy to order through one of their two tablets and find a spot to sit. It is very spacious and filled with many tables, so even when busy you'll likely be able to find a spot. The menu is a bit messy to look at--there is a big menu hanging over the kiosks, another posted alongside where a line is formed, then the menu on the tablet kiosks themselves. It's a pretty big menu featuring primarily coffee-based drinks, matcha lattes, and a wide variety of food, so you'll likely find something appealing. I ordered their smoked salmon bagel (which rang up to about $16) and their matcha latte ($8); to be honest, neither were outstanding. The salmon and avocado in the bagel were great, but the bagel itself was a bit stale--for $16, it's a bit hard to swallow. The matcha was very milky, and there is another store offering better matcha drinks in the same plaza. I'll admit, though, it's a little on me for not picking coffee at a spot with "coffee" in the name. I will say, though, that the atmosphere in the main area is pretty good; the decor is understated but comfortable, and the lighting is good. The service is also solid--the servers are friendly and our order came out quickly. I will say that the bathroom feels ominous. Overall, it's a great spot to study; Big Mug is open late, has free Wi-Fi and a bathroom for customers, and offers both food and caffeinated drinks for longer study sessions. I feel that the prices vary widely for items but skew towards being too pricy for the quality, at least from my limited experience. I plan on coming back to give other items a try, but for now, it's not a favorite.

Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.
