Well, of course I recommend them. I've gone twice and each time the owners were lovely…read more I came in looking for Sade's Love Deluxe album. Truthfully, I do think I'm just going to order it online because it has been so hard to just find it in stock in store. I've held off because I just want to buy it in store, and no not at an Urban Outfitters or some other large chain of stores. I enjoy the feeling of finding something and feeling like I scored, so, let's keep shopping in person alive as much as we can... please?? currently, I'm still holding off on this album and waiting for the day. Anyway, I ended up buying Diamond Life and People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. They didn't have a collection of Maxwell at that moment if I remember correctly, but that got me to looking through The Beatles section and each member's solo albums. Sad to say, I couldn't find a record with the single Silly Love Songs by Paul McCartney, though, I did go in blindly looking for it. So, I asked the owners about it while buying my records. They had it in the back and, not sure of the quality they tossed it in for free. It was very nice. They have a scratch free record guarantee, which I applaud, but the complimentary add in was very much appreciated. I've come again and brought a friend and we've both bought a couple to a few records. The last time I went there was an Anderson Paak collection. I wish they had Malibu, but they did have Ventura. I strongly contemplated, but ended up getting Childish Gambino's "Because the Internet." Prices - they're not even bad. Trust me. They have tapes and cds too. I like to dig, and this store satisfies that. Conveniently located near Rockridge BART, there's a second hand thrift store in the area, plenty of eateries, Trader Joe's a couple blocks up, and other mini shops along the way. It's worth stopping in and checking out especially if planning a day in this area.

Had a great stop in this awesome shop with a well curated collection of old and new. Henry was…read morefriendly, knowledgeable, and kind, offered to order records I was interested in the future as well. So glad I popped in!

This record store in Walnut Creek has got a lot going for it: they've got a large selection of…read morerecords in the front room and an equally large selection of budget/used records in the side room, to the left, when you walk in (that's where the real treasures are). They have live music upfront, as well as a dedicated performance space in the back of their store. They also had a great selection of free stickers that we saw on our way out. And they sell skateboards and skate paraphernalia. The only downside, which is the case for most modern records stores, is the prices reflect how popular vinyl is these days and most of the records in the front section are selling for at least $30. However... to contrast that, I saw records in their used section for as cheap as $.97, which is really great. Highly recommend.

Really great record store with pretty large footprint/ space. The selection here was also large and…read morewell organized. The folks were very friendly and helpful. The pricing for new vinyl is pretty consistent with what you see or find at similar independent record stores. I really like the vibe and layout of this store. It's so large that you have separate rooms for primarily their used stuff and a separate area that looks like a hang out area. There's even a room towards the back where I think they have live shows. During out visit, it was used to hold the records that came in for Black Friday or Record Store Day 2025. Came here with some family to do some holiday shopping and just generally looking for stuff. There was a coffee cart there serving up free beverages, which was a nice touch. I ended up getting a couple of records I've been looking for awhile and being able to buy a couple records my nephew wanted for Christmas. There's also plenty of street and lot parking that makes the place easily accessible.

I fell in love with this bookstore. I'm sure my sons regretted we went in because I spent time…read morehere. They have so much new and used selection. All types of books. I'm a non-fiction bookworm and this place is a heaven. The value for most books is reasonable and lower than a regular book store. I loved how organized it was on each floor and there were posted guides if you wanted to see more what floor to find them. They have a top floor with staff by appointment for special books. Other than that there's no staff interaction except at payment. I also loved they had table and chair seatings in random places be use you will get tired of checking out everything. Yes, I left with 7 books, no regrets and wish I could've taken more. I will def be back! They have straits and elevators but I recommend taking the stairs as they have interesting frames on the way and shop on lower level by stairwell.

Great selection of books! Seems like some books are centuries old and still in great condition. The…read morebooks they have to offer too are affordable and reasonable! The staff is great. Super friendly and welcoming, extremely willing to help upon your visit. You can also sell books here. They are picky with what you bring in, must be in pristine condition, no writing in books, and all hard covered books must have sleeves. They sell for a great trade-in but their cash isn't great. Definitely check them out!
